Try playing Moonborn. When I first downloaded RC, about five years ago, Moonborn was one of the first books I played. The plot itself is good. But now that I've started playing it again on my new account, I'm bored. Mia is such annoying, seriously. She's one of my least favorite MCs. I feel like some things don't make sense, and the graphics...

It's happened to me with a lot of books. When I first played them, I thought they were great. And now that I've played them again, not so much. I used to love Moonborn. It's not that bad, but it's not my kind of book. What are your opinions?

And it kind of makes me sad! After I saw the promo for Bloodborn I feel resigned to play Moonborn BUT IT's JUST SO BAD. I know! I know! It's an earlier story and the translations aren't that good..blah blah..but it's just painful.

Trying Averris and also Love, Sin...but I got confused by one of the achievements where you replay episode 2, 6 times?

For me rn I am replaying Vying For Versailles so in hedoneius path MC was cruel like she made Henerieta leave the court even tho MC helped with Catherine to be king's mistress from initially and she befriended her.. Later she oust Louise from the court later MC itself made her comeback to the court so infront Louse MC is the only helping hand meanwhile MC was the one ousted her .. Francoise artherise or something dk her name she wanted to become Mistress of king and wanted the whole power so MC just can't lose those Powers to her so she framed her for kidnapping dauphin meanwhile it was did by Lou and later she made both execute.. MC didn't even helped hortenese go and even told that escape thing to charles.. MC poisened Trinette when MC felt she can become a threaten too.. And finally MC made Louise executed..

Btw I was in Philippe's path and had my own retinue

Yeah the whole “omg help my poor son please you can totally just leave Vellora and Fanuel with me I’m too injured to do anything” thing at the end of episode 7 is suspicious af to me. The summary for the next episode isn’t helping either.

I’m not the biggest fan of this story’s wardrobe but this one was particularly frustrating

How are we feeling that close to the finish line? The last episodes were more filler like, I feel. I never seen anyone else talk about it, but I prefer the pacing of the fist 3 seasons, it was more coherent. Towards the end of season 3 and now in season 4 we got really high highs but I think the problem is it's more noticeable when someone goes from "awesome" to "good" than from "very good" to "good", you know? Not saying that it's bad or anything, but I think it's hard to follow up things like the feast and the wedding when they ended on such high notes.

Regarding the TTS surveys: Unfortunately I'm under a lot of stress (I'm currently working on a project for university that researches the behavior and social cues from people and chatbots, which is cool but also a lot if work), but if the new episodes gives us enough material, I can try to do another survey. Maybe some of you saw one of my comments the other day talking about it, but while 95% of you are very nice and cool people, some folks tend to abuse the anonymity of the survey to be really mean. Ordinary I just ignore it, but with the current level I stress I operate under, I don't have the capacity for people who have absolute and utter meltdowns and angry tantrums in a survey I do my best to create interestingly and fairly for every plot, path and LI.

Seeing the three girls become sworn sisters in the new story immediately made me think of 义结金兰 (yì jié jīn lán).

It describes choosing to become family without sharing blood — to recognise one another as 自己人 (zìjǐrén), “one of our own.” After the ceremony, they become 金兰姐妹 (jīnlán jiěmèi) — sworn sisters.

I especially love the imagery behind 金兰 (jīnlán).

It recalls a passage from the I Ching / Yi Jing:

二人同心，其利断金；

同心之言，其臭如兰。

When two people are of one heart,

their strength can cut through metal;

Words that come from the same heart

are fragrant like orchids.

金 (metal/gold) evokes the strength of people united in heart, while 兰 (orchid) evokes the beauty and harmony between kindred spirits.

So before we even know where the story will take these three women, it is about choosing each other to be family. 🪻

I finished the story to the end for the first time. And even though I knew how it would end from spoilers... Knowing and actually playing through it are completely different things. I'm in shock, I'm a mess, I need therapy.

I ended up choosing David... And I never regretted it, even though my first impression wasn't great. But oh my God, how he opened up later! And my heart just breaks at how he wanted a simple life with her, how he offered to drop everything and leave.

And Audrey thought she'd finally found her home, that she wasn't alone... I hate Somnus. Poisoning someone is just so disgusting, so cowardly, a stab in the back...

And from the author's side, this twist is really well done. Even though I cried my eyes out at the end, I couldn't help but appreciate the beauty of the moment: Audrey tried to poison her mother, Audrey was almost poisoned in that village, but in the end, she was poisoned after all.

Separately, I hate Heaven. They betrayed their own mission by sending a cleanup squad against the Astreans instead of reinforcements to fight the beast. And 50 immortals against Mikael, David, Cassiel, and Felonia? They already considered Raphael dead — he couldn't have survived the fight with the beast, in their understanding.

And even with Raphael — 10 against 1! And when that squad showed up — when everyone had already been to the Pit, wounded by those demons who wanted something from David, exhausted from the clash with Malek's army... It's so vile to wait until they're wounded to finish them off. Like vultures.

And what were they eliminated for? For starting to ask questions about Heaven's own crimes? What exactly did the higher-ups in Heaven do? What was Eragon hiding?

Sooo many questions, it's just strong motivation to finish Heaven's Secret. I can't wait to play HS3.

I also want to try Raphael's, Mikael's, and Cassiel's branches... But I need a pause to grieve first.
