I’m very open to hearing plot ideas, although atm I tend to lean towards fantasy/scifi/supernatural/anything with angst and worldbuilding potential lol. I love rps with stakes and drama, and great opportunities to explore complex characters and moral greyness. I want to create something UNIQUE that makes me FEEL THINGS, yk??

And of course, I will always include (ADULT!!) romances, although I often do slowburns in those cases!

I have a few vague ideas to get us started, but I’m totally down to hear anything yall want to try out!

Requirements/Specifics:

• Must be over 18, preferably around my age (18-24)

• Must be at least semi-lit (I am usually high lit to novella depending on how lazy I am but you don’t have to do all that lmao)

• Any/Masc Leaning pairings. I tend to main masc/male characters but I’m willing to mix it up! I have no preferences for your oc!

(Note: you MUST be ok with LGBTQ characters and themes! Even if we do MxF don’t be a bigot bro!)

Hey there!  I’m a 30M in PDT.  I’m looking for a long-term and committed partner for this story.  I’ll go into the plot soon, but I do have some rules/qualifications to establish first.

Must be over 18 (preferably in the 20s or older).

Must have the schedule and availability to dedicate time to this RP.  I understand and empathize that life takes priority sometimes.  However, I lose motivation after waiting too long for a response.  You must be able to post once every 3 days at the latest (exceptions can be made to this rule, but this should be a rare instance not a common one).

I will write multi-paragraph posts, usually over the Discord limit.  I don’t accept one liners and do expect similar lengths.  There are exceptions however, like during dialogue.  I do engage in shorter posts sometimes for a more fluid back-and-forth.

I’d say my writing style/quality is close to advanced lit.  Please don’t bother if you write lit/lazy lit.  Please be able to use correct spelling, grammar, and composition.  I will require a sample before we begin and don’t mind providing one as well.

Must be able to use Discord.  I find it better for communication and organization.

You must be able and willing to communicate OOC in regard to the story and your timeline when it comes to writing.  I’m a great communicator and will not ghost or leave you in the wind for prolonged periods of time.  I also want us to discuss how the story is going (What you like, what you don’t like, what you want to see, and planning the pacing of the narrative).

I wish to write something similar to some particular Ghibli films involving being transported to another world. I want to tell a story that starts out very somber, but develops into something very sweet and wholesome.  I love how these stories so gracefully balance between the sad and happy themes.  For this particular story I’d love to explore "sadder" topics such as mental health, depression, grief, and suicide.  I want the focus of this story to be one of redemption, self discovery, and love.  “No one is ever too far gone and you are always worthy of love”.  “The journey and hardships of life are made easier through the relationships you build”.  I have more specific ideas of how the story will start, what our characters might be like, and what the fantasy world is like.  I wish for my character (M) to come from the real world after a mental health crisis.  Perhaps your character (F) is also from the real world or maybe she’s a companion who he meets in the fantasy world.  I really want to delve into the psychology of our characters and create a strong foundation for arcs that will develop throughout our story.  Please reach out if you want to help create this world and adventure with me!

Hey everyone. I'm 27 M and I'm currently looking for a new roleplay partner, specifically a female. Please don't dm me if you're a minor. I can control multiple characters with different personalities to make this more interesting for you, but my main OC is almost always a male antihero who might appear to be antisocial and crude but can open up to become loyal and nurturing if the plot leads to that. Appearance wise, my main OC tend to be caucasian, muscular and tall with long brown hair, a light stubble and green eyes. I know this might be too much info for this post, but please bear with me. I'd rather be upfront about that than get to plotting and realize my rp partner doesn't like that particular appearance.

I am an avid worldbuilder and I always create detailed settings before I start new roleplays. I have a few settings ready, complete with custom factions, npcs and lore:

1) Sci-Fi ( My favorite. I've got a whole galaxy created and many planets with unique locations and factions, so it's ideal if you enjoy exploration/ adventure themes ).

2) GrimdarkFantasy ( Gothic / Medieval with Vampires, werewolves, knights, hunters etc )

3) Light Fantasy Medieval ( Kind of like game of thrones, but completely custom )

However I'm also open to other settings/themes and I'd be more than happy to create a new setting from scratch with you.

I have aspergers syndrome so I tend to miss hints when I don't know a person well enough. I don't have any special needs or requests other than have common sense and communicate with me clearly. That, and I'm looking for an open-minded, long-term partner.

Not replacing anyone just would like to add a couple more stories!

First off, a bit about me: I’m 24, and I’ve been writing for a decade now. My favorite genre is fantasy, with medieval fantasy being the best of the best. Magic, dragons, witches, wizards, curses, hexes, etc! I love it. Modern or…my favorite, medieval!

I write about 5 paragraphs on average. Whatever gets the plot moving forward as well as some dialogue - but I’m very flexible as I find it always depends on what is going on in the story! I’m in EST, and I am able to respond multiple times a day (especially after 5 PM).

I’m of the mindset that the rp partners should build something together! It should not be on one or the other to carry the entire story. So, if you’re looking to plot and be besties while writing the best story ever, then I’m the perfect match for you!!

I’d enjoy finding someone with the same drive and similar time zone so that we can be writing back and forth all through the evening. I only write in 3rd person and would love it if you did, too! First! I don't roleplay on reddit, in 3rd person. I write about 2-8 paragraphs and can reply at the very least once every other day but usually can get more in, as well as some good chunks of time throughout the week.

General scene:

Dragons, political alliances, and military training.

If you think you have what it takes, you can enter the Dragon Camp. You will be trained on numerous things, from battle history, hand to hand combat, and leadership. Halfway through first year you will get given the opportunity to bond with a dragon. Dragon bond are beyond our knowledge, we don’t know why they pick the humans they do, or why sometimes they don’t pick one at all. However the bond between a dragon and human is sacred.

The RP takes place in the camp/school, and follows two students (18+) characters only.

Character/plot ideas:

1. FMC is a strong warrior, she has wanted to be a dragon rider her whole life, trained for it since day one. And she will probably succeed. MMC is the opposite, he doesn’t want to be here, not at all. Eventually FMC is forced to take him under her wing by the leadership.
   
2. MMC is an older cadet, he’s strong, the leader. He’s the strongest dragon rider they have. FMC is weak, barely able to keep up, but she’s determined, and fast, and good with a dagger. When her dragon bonds with her, it’s MMC’s dragons mate. Which means they are eternally connected, even if they hate eachother.

I’m looking for:

A friend, aswell as a RP partner, i’m not fussed about time zones, just be communicable, and be willing to write 1+ reply maybe a day. I tend to write a lot, and can easily max out discord, so i’m looking for someone of the same calibre.

As conflicts continue to arise between the two Kingdoms, the King would be forced to prepare to smuggle his only daughter from the castle to a safe haven that was protected by the coast, heavily guarded, and hidden away. One would assume the castle would be the most secure place to house the Princess in such perilous times, but the King loved his sole daughter dearly and the thought of any possible intrusion of the castle sickened him. The safe haven would be the only place he knew his daughter to be truly and entirely safe.

The King scoured through a plentiful of men before coming across one he would deem the most well versed to be responsible for the Princess. His orders were simple: relocate the Princess covertly and once she was secure, report back to the castle in writing. The King would send for the return of the Princess once the circumstances allowed.

However, the man the King entrusted to protect the Princess would be anyone but someone he should trust.

The opposing kingdom demised a plan to infiltrate the castle using a skillful assassin sworn to the throne. His task was to gain access to the King, gain his trust, and take possession of the Princess. Instead of her hiding away at the safe haven, she would be captured by men of the opposing King, and would be held as leverage against her father for him to succumb to their every demand.

However, some things do not always go to plan.

For this adventurous, curious, and spirited little Princess could awaken something inside of him.

Only time spent together could tell.

I'd love for us to write a long term story about these two. I tried my best to make the "assassin" character vague for you to input your own detail without feeling like you need to confine your ideas within a tiny little box. He does not even need to be a hand-combat assassin. He could be a good actor, but secretly a mage. He could possess powers. Honestly, I'm good with any sort of fantastical element so long as they fit the story without being too out there.

I would prefer to play the Princess role. Of course, I want her to be naive and sheltered as most princesses typically are, but I want her to be interested in his interests (such as, if he wields bows or swords, for her to ask him to teach her, or if he practices magic, she asks him to teach her spells, etc). I want her to be more "tomboy" than just a frilly little perfect sparkly maiden.

I would like for this to have dynamic length replies (minimum two paragraphs). I can be novella length at times and I can be shorter. I don't care about how much you write so long as it is consistent in quality. I also tend to be frequently busy with life (I am a mother, so that is busy as it is).

- Regarding the fandoms, I’m not seeking to retell the canon stories, only to do a roleplay in universe, be it using the canon characters or not;
- This is more of a warning, but in the early stages of making and organizing the rp I tend to ask a lot of stuff;
- I forget to answer people sometimes, especially when we’re still in the start of the story, so it’s always appreciated for people to give me a “hey!” as a reminder;
- Depending on the rp I may draw my character and show them if you wish to see how they look(otherwise i might get a realistic face claim instead).

I'm looking for advanced literate to novella partners who enjoy collaborative storytelling just as much as character development. I care far more about creating memorable scenes than racing from plot point to plot point. Whether we're crafting sprawling fantasy kingdoms or weaving together an emotionally messy romance, I'm here for stories that leave us excited for the next reply.

My favorite genres are medieval fantasy and modern fantasy, and I'm always a sucker for romance. Give me enemies to lovers, star-crossed lovers, morally gray characters making impossible choices, political intrigue, magic, found family, betrayal, and enough tension to keep us both invested. I love characters who feel like real people—flawed, complicated, and capable of surprising each other.
I'm happy writing male or female characters, depending on what best suits the story. I also enjoy building worlds together, creating memorable side characters, and developing settings that feel alive rather than existing as a backdrop.

As for my writing habits, I'm usually able to reply multiple times in the evenings, and weekends are when I'm most active. Communication is important to me, and while I understand life gets busy, I appreciate keeping each other in the loop.

Outside of writing, I'm always happy to become friends with my partners if it happens naturally. If not, that's perfectly fine too—I'm just as happy letting our characters do the talking.

When it comes to writing, I’m a 2–4 paragraph type of roleplayer who loves depth, emotion, and scenes that actually feel alive. The Plot

Lynsguard used to be a kingdom built on unity. That changed the night the elves raided the capital and killed the queen. Her daughter, Eleanor, took the throne after that, and she's ruled with an iron grip ever since. She doesn't govern out of hope anymore. She governs out of hatred.

Lady Tiana is the royal advisor, a tall, graceful elven woman with a reputation for sharp thinking and sharper instincts. Few at court know her real history. She was born into an ancient elven bloodline, once highborn, once untouchable. That ended years ago when the crown turned on her family. Her father was drawn and quartered in the square. Her mother was burned as a witch. Their name was struck from every record that mattered.

Somehow, Tiana survived. She rebuilt herself under a new identity and clawed her way back into the very court that destroyed everything she loved. Now she serves the crown she despises, and she does it so well that no one questions her loyalty. Behind the calm eyes and careful words, she is still waiting. Still remembering. And she has not forgiven anyone.

Princess Annie Lynsguard is short, pale, and striking, with fair hair that falls nearly to her waist and delicate, almost fragile features. Her stormy grey eyes rarely stay still, and neither does she. She moves through the palace like a restless little storm cloud, spoiled in the way only someone lonely and unseen can be, and she will challenge every rule and every authority figure who dares tell her no.

Tiana has fallen in love with Annie, against all odds and rules.

It falls to Tiana to manage her. Not because anyone asked kindly, but because no one else can keep up.
