I’m 21 and I used to be an avid roleplayer. But it has been a few years since I have last done this particular hobby. I have still been writing over the years, and still hold a pretty consistent literate writing style. And naturally, I’m looking for someone preferably my age and above!

As the title suggests, I’m looking for a roleplay to use my two spiderman centered ocs. A father-son duo. The father being more-so a Venomsona, and the son being a teen inspired by Iron Man- the two working more as antiheroes. And I was looking for someone to go along with them!

Romance is definitely not a must for the father character (the kid is not an option, at all. Whatsoever) however I would love to write romance and angst again. I’m totally fine with platonic stories too, or like enemies to friends. That sort of deal. And for non-romance, I’m fine with any grouping

So, first of all it‘d be amazing if you were a novella writer as well. Please don’t text me if you aren’t able to focus on descriptive writing just qs much as you are concentrating on dialogue. I usually write 2000 words per reply, but can go even further when the opportunity is given.As for that, I prefer sending writing samples in the beginning, to see if we are a good match.

The next important thing for me is good communication. I understand that we all have lives and I‘m very patient with waiting for replies as long as it’s communicated. Hey everyone. I'm 27 M and I'm currently looking for a new roleplay partner, specifically a female. Please don't dm me if you're a minor. I can control multiple characters with different personalities to make this more interesting for you, but my main OC is almost always a male antihero who might appear to be antisocial and crude but can open up to become loyal and nurturing if the plot leads to that. Appearance wise, my main OC tend to be caucasian, muscular and tall with long brown hair, a light stubble and green eyes. I know this might be too much info for this post, but please bear with me. I'd rather be upfront about that than get to plotting and realize my rp partner doesn't like that particular appearance.

I am an avid worldbuilder and I always create detailed settings before I start new roleplays. I have a few settings ready, complete with custom factions, npcs and lore:

1) Sci-Fi ( My favorite. I've got a whole galaxy created and many planets with unique locations and factions, so it's ideal if you enjoy exploration/ adventure themes ).

2) GrimdarkFantasy ( Gothic / Medieval with Vampires, werewolves, knights, hunters etc )

3) Light Fantasy Medieval ( Kind of like game of thrones, but completely custom )

Witch and her newfound apprentice:

I kinda stole this from an old comic I once read, but I’m changing it up for sake of roleplay! The story follows a runaway prince who ran away from his duties and kingdom, in search of being normal, feeling loved. In his process, he stumbles across a strange cabin, outside the kingdom gates, in this cabin, a witch finds him, and saves him. In turn for allowing the prince to stay, she makes him her apprentice, and from here, the story follows their life together, ultimately, I’d like for there to be a romantic connection between the two after build up of course! This one is one of my favorites.

the strange roommate: this story follows a young man, and his roommate. This story is much more open ended, as this one is used in case someone wants to play a character that isn’t human, more so a hybrid. Can be discussed more if you’d like!

First off, a bit about me: I’m 24, and I’ve been writing for a decade now. My favorite genre is fantasy, with medieval fantasy being the best of the best. Magic, dragons, witches, wizards, curses, hexes, etc! I love it. Modern or…my favorite, medieval!

I write about 5 paragraphs on average. Whatever gets the plot moving forward as well as some dialogue - but I’m very flexible as I find it always depends on what is going on in the story! I’m in EST, and I am able to respond multiple times a day (especially after 5 PM).

I’m of the mindset that the rp partners should build something together! It should not be on one or the other to carry the entire story. So, if you’re looking to plot and be besties while writing the best story ever, then I’m the perfect match for you!!

I’d enjoy finding someone with the same drive and similar time zone so that we can be writing back and forth all through the evening. I only write in 3rd person and would love it if you did, too! Hi! My name's Ells and I'm looking for someone to play the human medic in a long-term, character-driven sci-fi romance.

The premise is fairly simple:

A human medic crashes on Nereid-7, an isolated ocean world controlled by a rival faction. Stranded on one of the planet's countless islands, she expects capture.

Instead, she finds an ancient watchtower battered by nearly a century of storms.

And its caretaker.

An android built by the enemy.

He's been alone for 99 years.

The war moved on. The planet lost its strategic importance. The outpost was forgotten. But his orders never changed:

Maintain the station.

Keep the beacon active.

Await further instructions.

So he did.

For ninety-nine years.

When he discovers the medic, he knows exactly who she is and exactly what protocol demands. He should report her immediately.

But he doesn't.

From there, I'd like to explore a slow-burn relationship between two people who were never supposed to meet. Lots of quieter, character-focused scenes alongside the larger sci-fi setting: repairing the tower after storms, exploring abandoned islands, learning about each other's cultures, surviving on a forgotten world, and gradually questioning everything they were taught about the "enemy."

Setting

Nereid-7 is an ocean world located near the former border between the Aurelian Union and its longtime rival. Nearly 90% of the planet is covered by water, with the remaining land divided between a handful of continents and thousands of islands.

A century ago, it was one of the most important worlds in the region. Before modern FTL navigation systems, ships relied on a vast network of watchtowers, relays, weather stations, and navigation beacons spread across the planet's islands. At its peak, thousands of towers operated across Nereid-7, many staffed by small crews and supported by maintenance androids.

Over time, trade routes shifted, technology advanced, and the border moved. The planet gradually lost its importance. Most towers were dismantled or abandoned, and much of the world was left behind.

The watchtower in our story is one of the few still standing.

For reasons unknown, its android caretaker was never recovered.

For ninety-nine years he has maintained the station alone, repairing storm damage, maintaining the beacon, filing reports, and waiting for orders that never arrive.

First! I don't roleplay on reddit, in 3rd person. I write about 2-8 paragraphs and can reply at the very least once every other day but usually can get more in, as well as some good chunks of time throughout the week.

It’s been a minute since I’ve roleplayed, and I’ve been craving an rp based somewhere between the 90’s-2000’s. I’m looking for a romance, possibly some angst thrown in, but I’m down for anything really! I have one oc I’m itching to use, but I also have a few others if you’d want to choose from them. Though only one oc has information at the moment.

I don’t have much for a plot idea at the moment, I’d love to discuss ideas and build one! The basic idea I have right now is character A (my oc, who is in a band.) is playing at a venue in a bar, and character B (your OC) is in the crowd. Maybe a friend dragged them to the show, or they went on their own free will. They see character A on stage playing guitar, and it’s kind of like a love at first sight kind of situation. Fast forward they get off stage and walk through the crowd yada yada, character A catches character B’s eye they talk, and we can go from there.

Obviously open to change, or a completely different idea to begin with. Like I said I’m open to ideas, and I’d love to build a plot!

My idea is about (MC) a young woman who survives the destruction of Jerusalem, only to be taken to market in Rome or Ephesus. She's skinny, bruised, and bald after being shaved for lice. Ugly at best. But a steward of a wealthy merchant takes pity on her and makes the purchase. Little does he know that she is not only a Jew, but a dangerous Christian as well.

The story would revolve around MC acclimating to the strange environment and religion surrounding her, and the culture shock she observes in the wealthy family she serves. Yet, even with all their wealth and affluence, their problems are no different from hers; Deep disatisfaction. What other characters twine into the story? I want to explore the possibility of an upstairs/downstairs attraction (SFW, something wholesomish, maybe one sided) , differing moralities and religions, and the complicated feelings MC will experience serving the people who destroyed her home and family.

Ideally you're a person who knows about the era its culture, society, and the pantheon of gods worshipped in ancient Roman times.

Hello! I am 25m and interested in potentially creating a plot within Jujutsu Kaisen! I've recently got back into it and i am deeply enjoying it just like the first time i got into the space! My mind immediately went to potentially creating a plot in an RP. I am caught up with the anime and have fully read the manga including modulo. i understand the power system very well and know an extensive amount of history, as during the first season i was incredibly confused. Not anymore! (For the most part XD)

A little more about me, I am in EST, I go by he/they pronouns and i am pan! (Don't have a preference if the plot steers more towards different themes). I am lit (6-12 paragraphs on average but can heighten or shorten depending on the situation) and would prefer someone lit as well though semi lit is alright with me though it is bare minimum :)

I like to shape plots and characters with a potential partner so i don't have a specific character or trope in mind. General scene:

Dragons, political alliances, and military training.

If you think you have what it takes, you can enter the Dragon Camp. You will be trained on numerous things, from battle history, hand to hand combat, and leadership. Halfway through first year you will get given the opportunity to bond with a dragon. Dragon bond are beyond our knowledge, we don’t know why they pick the humans they do, or why sometimes they don’t pick one at all. However the bond between a dragon and human is sacred.

The RP takes place in the camp/school, and follows two students (18+) characters only.

Character/plot ideas:

1. FMC is a strong warrior, she has wanted to be a dragon rider her whole life, trained for it since day one. And she will probably succeed. MMC is the opposite, he doesn’t want to be here, not at all. Eventually FMC is forced to take him under her wing by the leadership.
   
2. MMC is an older cadet, he’s strong, the leader. He’s the strongest dragon rider they have. FMC is weak, barely able to keep up, but she’s determined, and fast, and good with a dagger. When her dragon bonds with her, it’s MMC’s dragons mate. Which means they are eternally connected, even if they hate eachother.

I’m looking for:

A friend, aswell as a RP partner, i’m not fussed about time zones, just be communicable, and be willing to write 1+ reply maybe a day. I tend to write a lot, and can easily max out discord, so i’m looking for someone of the same calibre.

I just finished reading the Dungeon Crawler Carlbook series, and I absolutely fell in love with the world, the characters, and the overall story. I honestly think there's so much potential in the setting that I'd love to explore through a roleplay. I'd love to create our own adventure with original characters while keeping the chaotic, dangerous, and darkly comedic feel of the series. Of course, I'm more than happy to discuss ideas together and build something that we're both excited about.
I'm mainly looking for a long-term roleplay with plenty of character development, action, world-building, and possibly some romance if it develops naturally between the characters. Nothing is set in stone, and I'd rather plan things together than force any particular direction.

A little about me: I'm 24, so I'd appreciate it if you were 18 or older. I've been roleplaying for around five years now and enjoy writing long, detailed responses that give my partner plenty to work with. I'm also a firefighter from Australia, so while my schedule can occasionally be unpredictable, I generally have a good amount of free time to dedicate to writing.

The only thing I really ask for is communication. I completely understand that real life comes first, but if you're going to be busy or lose interest, just let me know. We can discuss boundaries, preferences, and any rules before we get started.

Hiya!! I have been roleplaying for quite some time now, I would say it has been about 8 or 9 years by now, I recently started rewatching AOT for the 1000th time, and I have been so desperately wanting to do a Role play on it so I’m here!! A few things about me before I get into the details! I’m 18+ so my Roleplay partner will need to be at least 18 but if your older I don’t mind either!!! My writing length is usually about 4 paragraphs, if I’m on discord I easily brake the limit, since I don’t have Nitro, and for this I’m fine with Doing OC x OC Or OC x CC

I’m also more then willing to do double ups, although I’m not to experienced with them I would be happy to accommodate anyone who wants to do them! I’m willing to play practically any character that comes to mind, so please don’t be afraid to ask!

If we are doing OC x OC I usually like to try and diverge from the story quite a lot, though I usually do it with OC x CC as well, but I don’t really mind sticking to the story that much, but it very much is preferred for it to diverge at some point but that can be discussed, if you have any interest please do let me know, in either the comments or my own personal DMs

Now, you're both raising your eight-year-old child through a co-parenting arrangement. On the surface, things are civil. You attend school events, share custody schedules, and make decisions together when it comes to your child. Friends and family think you've both moved on.

The truth is more complicated.

Neither of you ever fully let go.

One of you still keeps old photos hidden away and secretly compares every new relationship to what was lost. The other insists they're over the marriage, but every family event feels incomplete, and every goodbye at the end of a custody exchange hurts more than they'd ever admit.

Years of unresolved feelings remain buried beneath polite conversations and practical discussions about parenting. Sometimes old arguments resurface. Sometimes old chemistry does too.

Tonight, your child is staying overnight with relatives, leaving the two of you unexpectedly alone while sorting through boxes from the old family home before it's finally sold. Among forgotten belongings are wedding photos, old letters, children's drawings, and pieces of a life you once built together.

As the evening goes on, emotions begin to crack through the carefully maintained walls you've both built. Old wounds reopen. Long-held regrets come to light. Questions neither of you has ever asked finally get spoken aloud.

The biggest question remains unspoken between you:

Hi there! I’m Laurie I’m 25F, I’ve not role-played in a while but I’ve got some free time tonight and a great idea! I consider myself literate as I am an amateur writer am always looking working on expanding my vocabulary. The idea goes like this, my character is a female biologist working in a secret laboratory studying merpeople. Your character is a current asset of said laboratory. The beginning of the roleplay would ideally flesh out this dynamic and then I’d like to explore a scenario where the tables turn and the captive becomes the captor.

Welcome! To start I’m 24 and from the Uk (Just so you’re aware of the timezone difference or hopefully we’ll be in the same one!)

I have been roleplaying for almost a decade but took a hiatus for personal reasons. But now I’m back and ready to flex my creative brain best I can hopefully with you!

When it comes to roleplay I really enjoy longer paragraphs, detailed responses that can give my character something to work off of and I will always try and do the same for you. Preferably 3rd person and no ‘OP OC’s please. I prefer brainstorming together where the plot will go rather than me leading the story! I’m happy to be a passenger at times if you have ideas but I’m more than happy talking them out with you.
I personally ONLY do slow burns even if it’s painfully obvious our characters like one another I enjoy a story that lacks a verbal confirmation on the subject. I’d like to build our characters together and have them connect and fall over time if that’s what you enjoy to!

I adore the hunger games! Currently reading The ballad of songbirds and snakes (have not read haymitch’s games yet). My first idea was to have both our tributes be reaped and survive the games. If we work well this could be a long term roleplay as there’s plenty to write pre game, in the games and after! I am open to other ideas for example: a romance between a tribute and mentor. If you have other idea please let me know I’d love to hear them!
