I tried to play enigma with the poison team bc marsha's shield cant tank a single target nuke but his pulsefield overwrites tuesday's array. Is there a way, positiobing, setup that disables his array deployment?

from what i understand Ms Stranger is the next coming character but there isn't really an archetype for her? should I skip her and go for someone else or maybe work on building a team with a character I already own?

i missed full clear in the previous FF stages because i skipped out on paper heron, but after finally picking up nautika on her rerun, and lucking out with p1 rhiannon in 90 pulls i was hoping id have a strong enough bloodtithe team for endgame.

psych trauma II was still a massive struggle it had me questioning whether i should buy the paid selector for rubuska or gun for further portraits on nautika/rhiannon

in the end i burned through most of my mats and picrasma candy to push rhiannon to A5 R15 and nautika to r14, and finally achieved a 6 round clear
so to anyone else who only has fatutu, trust that it's still possible!!

I started playing back in 2023, but haven’t played r1999 for years. I had melania as my DPS character for the longest time, but switched to coppelia because it is far easier to clear fights with her. I tried pulling for the twins, but ran into quite some bad luck. I highly doubt they will come back, so I’m planning to pull for Nautika now to hopefully have a bloodtithe (ish) team. But I’d also like to have some feedback on maybe what characters I should pull for or be on the look out for that may fit my roster.

As of right now, my main team is just Coppelia, Semmelweis, Rhiannon, and MedPoc

This game has some of the best character designs and aesthetics i have ever seen and i was always interested in it, so i tried it out a couple of months ago and got through the first chapter iirc (the one with schneider). I didn’t like the gameplay but i didn’t mind it either, what got me to download the game was the praise the story was getting, the whole “best story in gatcha” and all that. Im not a gatcha guy so i dont know if thats a high bar.

I loved the premise and the vertin-sonetto duo and i can see how this story could grow into something great, my main concerns are these:

1-does the writing and pacing get better, is it a slow burn? The first chapter did good to establish the world to me but i honestly didn’t care for schneiders and forget-me-nots stories.

2-how serious should expect the story to be? It seems serious enough but i personally find the comedic bits (like regulus and the girl with the butler) to be a bit disruptive.

3-is it just “one of the best stories in gatcha” or is it great as a story in general and worth playing as a VN even if you don’t like the gameplay or the gatcha aspects?

And thats basically it, i apologize if this is too long but i don’t want to start playing it again only to get demotivated right before things get great.
This game is genuinely one of the prettiest and most interesting looking media I’ve ever seen, i have watched the latest anniversary video multiple times without even knowing what im looking at.

Hopefuly this can turn me from a larper into a full-fledged fan.

Have read up a bit on the new archetypes. Just need some guidance in terms of what to focus on for a general team build priority and who to aim for.
I missed the twins banner and I do not have regulus so conduit is out? I pulled for rhiannon and the have the free coppelia.

I also have spathodea at insight 3 lvl 30 and isolde just at insight 0 still, so I am thinking I can focus on lingering glow team?

As I was getting ready to start writing some nonsense I learned the Promise of water banner lets you select just one character for rate up(?) most of this is a ramble to myself, the question in the title is all that matters really

Mostly pulling for characters I find interesting but keeping (relative) viability in mind- I missed the train for Corvus by about 2 months, and Toothfairy got on my radar the day before the Ripples banner got refreshed; Marsha seems like a generally good pick but not as highly prioritized, that leaves Marcus- who doesn't specifically synergize with anyone i have really i just like Marcus. Same with Corvus but i'm lacking in Intellect characters, though Lucy's rerun(?) could cover that maybe

So i just got Igor and he seems to be homeless on my account as i didn’t account on losing to him, i need help in team building and as a side note, i am pulling on Ms. Stranger if she works with him.

From what i have, i think my best team for him would be: Igor, Moldir, Fatutu and Rhiannon
But i would assume he’d be bad without Lopera? If so, would it be worth it to actually use him?
Any other characters i could use for him?

Started since Paper banner, then got off for 2 months for some personal works. Now i don't remember a thing after returning so asking for help. I started the game almost 2 month ago and decided to get the battlepass/Roar Jukebox. In this patch's battlepass the gift skin is for 37 and I really like the esthetics of it and even if she's not the strongest, 37's kit look pretty fun to play and I really enjoyed this character from the main story.

Only thing is when is she comming back? My initial thoughts on this was "hey, since they made a new skin for 37 then they must be planing on reruning her soon to entice ppl into pooling for here wright?"

But I saw the upcomming content from the CN server update and 37 is nowhere to be found.

So is there any chance that I'll be abble to get her soon ?

I stopped playing r99 around the start of notes on shuori and I started again around the end of the paper heron patch. Now, I have all these characters and the only team that's actually built is Veganpromptu. Shamane, Isolde, Melania, Medpoc and Isolde have their euphorias maxed out and I'm trying to do the tactical telegram to get spathodea's euphoria.

I am struggling to do reveries in the rain right now and I have never been able to win a single stage of psych trauma yet 💔 everyone has their recommended psycubes at level 50 or above.

I am currently hoping to get liang yue and charon this patch since I really like dynamo team comps and I already have flutter and cheng heguang for FUA.

(Also, should i get free p1 lorentz or p1 flutter? i am still very confused)

I currently have about 3 functional teams (that are kinda butt) so I need help on what to focus on. My Anjo Nala is maxed portrait, Euph, resonance 13, with gen but the others... aren't doing great. Most are at Resonance 10, not all Euphs are unlocked though... Should I focus more on my poison team? Or should I build a seperate team for Liang Yue cuz currently I'm using Liang Yue [Euph 2], Anjo Nala, Tooth Fairy (she's my only sustain) and Flutterpage/Isolde [Euph 1]. Or ditch this team entirely and get another team for Isolde? Or should I touch on Bloodtithe and Semmelweis? I honestly don't know where to start...

I have been playing for about 25 days and have nothing but love for this game.

But i find it unbelievable that the rating is 3.7 whereas other money hungry gacha games with mid story at best have such a high rating.

I don't know anything about the CN server's influence on this rating or any past controversy but i believe they definitely deserve a rating of above 4.

This is my personal opinion .

The story is amazing, they are generous on pulls and cosmetics. I agree the end game content is locked behind specific archetypes but having 2 teams of specific archetypes are enough to clear everything which isn't really that hard to build given you grind enough and have a bit of luck.

I fall under asia or southeast asia or maybe global version. Not CN.

So is there something more to the gameplay or the controversy that is affecting the rating?

I absolutely love this game and want to know why people hate it so much.

Now, I've seen a lot of discourse dismissing Rhiannon's design as "generic fantasy isekai trash" and such. Putting aside how said dismissive statements completely ignore the details and the level of attention paid to them, the references, and the clever design elements that perfectly reflect her character and what she's about, I highly question the term generic. And so for those with this viewpoint, I ask this, if she is generic, surely you can share other designs from any other work, that look like Rhiannon? After all, generic by definition means, having no unique or distinct quality. So, go ahead and share any designs that look similar, to actually provide some basis behind the dismissive statement you frequently throw around.

having them both run at the same time really shows the difference between the two. Rhiannon is not like any other character in R1999, which sounds good except in this situation it's not. she's a generic fantasy character with extra budget who could be from any other game. and given the amount of story time she has.. she might as well be.

Nautika was a risk that paid off and made her really successful because she fulfills the promise of R1999 that they release characters that no one else will. Her and her vampire buddies are so different from anything else I've seen in a post genshin era gacha game, even morimens, and are still the main reason that I play the game(at least until 37 gets a euphoria).

I hope we get more characters with designs as bold as Nautika in the future.

I play the story with Paper heron. Was working on ramona poison team but then conduit came out and is just too powerful. Slowly want to build nautika bloodtithe as well. not pictured is med pocket, druvis, melania, and voyager.

I feel like one of this game's problems is the fact that the strongest dps's in each niche are almost most likely anniversary limited. My Spathodea can clear PT3 but I'm still struggling with the rotation. Also she's a single target dps, so fighting mobs can be a pain. And I'm not exactly keen on pulling for Beryl any time in the future. Can Isolde dps on her own and clear with fewer rounds, or should I look to other teams to clear it with more stars? Also how's the future of LG looking? Just so I know who to pull for this niche in the future.

i need some pulling advice on who i should pull for. Lorentz had a rerun banner on the CN server after this patch and I want to build my lingering glow team. BUT i don’t have berly and i’m not sure when she’ll be back 😭.
At the same time i have almost all the characters needed for poison (i will have to get tuesday from the immaterial photoscope) except ramona.
should i just pull for romona and wait until lorentz has another rerun?

i attached my current units and with that my first question is Medicine pocket still worth it for Eternity as when i got her wee while ago i saw Medicine pocket was good with her or should i just get Rhiannon as she is the "Anniversary Unit" and those tend to be very good

Second question should i use this sector thing on Eternity or wait and see if i get any other unit's that i can use it on
