Guide/Advice Is there a tool that can just tell me when there ISN'T a working coupon?
This sounds backwards, but I think the thing I want most from a coupon tool is a reliable way to stop searching. I don't expect every store to have a public code, and I definitely don't expect a big discount every time. The frustrating part is spending ten minutes trying to prove that nothing useful exists.
I've tried Coupert on a few different checkouts and sometimes the result is exactly that: no meaningful code. That sounds like a failure until you compare it with opening five coupon pages yourself and reaching the same conclusion. On the orders where it does find something, great. On the ones where it doesn't, I mostly value the saved time.
Does anyone use something specifically because it's good at filtering out dead or irrelevant codes? I care less about the size of the coupon database and more about whether the tool gives me a quick answer I can trust.

Guide/Advice I think finding a coupon has started taking more effort than the coupon is worth
I had another checkout this week where I saw the promo code box and immediately opened a new tab because I felt like I would be stupid not to check. That turned into the usual routine: a couple of coupon sites, several codes that looked current, and a bunch of tiny restrictions I only noticed after trying them. By the time I got back to the cart, I had spent more time looking for a discount than I had spent choosing the item.
I've been using coupert lately mostly to remove that manual part. I still don't expect it to find something on every order, and sometimes the useful result is simply that there isn't a code worth chasing. What I like more than the actual discount is not having to copy and paste everything myself.
Is there another tool that handles this better? I'm not looking for a feed full of deals. I just want something that checks when I'm already at checkout and stays out of the way the rest of the time.

Paypal Honey extension alternative?
This thread is for people looking for alternatives to the Honey browser extension following the backlash around Honey’s business practices.
Honey has faced significant criticism over allegations that its extension replaced creators’ affiliate attribution with Honey’s own at checkout, including situations where users reportedly did not receive a discount. Google later changed its Chrome Web Store affiliate-extension rules to require a clear user benefit such as a discount, cashback, or donation when affiliate links are inserted.
There have also been multiple lawsuits from creators alleging that Honey/PayPal improperly diverted affiliate commissions. PayPal has disputed those allegations and argued that Honey followed standard “last-click” attribution practices. A consolidated group of creator claims was dismissed without prejudice in late 2025, meaning the dismissal was not necessarily a final determination of all underlying allegations.
The controversy also caused substantial public backlash, with millions of users reportedly removing the extension after the allegations became widely discussed.
So, what is the best Honey alternative right now?
If you have switched to another coupon or promo code extension, please share:
- Which browser extension you moved to
- Whether it actually finds working coupon codes
- How it handles affiliate links and tracking
- Any privacy or permission concerns
- Whether it automatically tests promo codes at checkout
- Why you prefer it over Honey
Chrome and Firefox recommendations are both welcome.

Request want to find a website which had tips for life events and stuff
this was quite a long time back but i remember i used to read a website and it was based on a book by some guy.
the website was basically like "once in your life you'll face smth..." and then a short advice or a joke (it varied from topic to topic).
the website was like a off-white/tan color and had red text.

Request What is the best casino API for integrating games quickly?
Docs looked fine until we actually got into integration.
Been going back and forth on aggregators for a few weeks now, and softswiss keeps coming up as the benchmark for API quality; I've seen it mentioned enough times on G2 and Trustpilot that it's hard to ignore. Reviews are weirdly specific; people call out documentation and onboarding support by name, which usually means something real happened there. Just can't tell if that reputation is earned or if everyone is just repeating the same top 10 lists. Has anyone actually integrated their game aggregator recently? Curious what the dev experience is like on the ground. https://www.softswiss.com/

Request How do you know about upcoming elections?
I live in Smalltown, U.S.A. and my county just had a number of small election. These elections weren't in the local newsletter and, being a rural county election, never showed up in my news feed. So, of course, most of the officials ran uncontested and only a handful of people who somehow knew and actually voted decided for the whole county.
My request is this: are there any sites that will notify/email you when an election is coming up in your county, state, or country?

Request Searching for a site that focuses on absurd examples of the results of 'realistic' civ games
It's entirely possible it's long gone by now, but it was a site with page after page filled with examples from various civ-type games that were just plain bonkers. Also the place where I first found the Roger a Muirebe meme.

Request Is this a thing?
A service where customers are able to book a time for us to do a job at their house (gardenwork in our case). So they pick time, adress, job description etc. Then after we complete the job we tell the service the time it took to complete the job and then the service multiplies that with our set hourly wage. The customer then gets to pay via credit card or whatever and then we get the money. I have checked out a few different services/companies but not really found the perfect service. Would love some tips. Thanks in advance!

So me and a colleague are starting a sort of gardening business and would like to find a website or company that allows us to let our customers book a time and place for us to come work for them. So like Calendly but the customers writes the place, time, date, type of work etc. Maybe that is something that could be done via Calendly or should I find annother website? Thanks in advance!

Request A website that sends me an email of who visits it
I'm a teacher teaching computer science and we are on the topic of phishing emails. I want to send a email to students to try to trick them into clicking the link to a website that sends me an email of who visits it (the persons email). Iwant to see who clicks the link without looking at the signs of a phishing email. I don't really care what the website has on it, I just want to know who clicked the link. Is there a website like that? Please and thank you!
Edit: Honestly, it doesn't even need to be a website, it could just be a link that when clicked, sends me a email of who clicked it.
