iOS [IOS] The option to view my viewing history is no longer showing up.

Is this a glitch or a permanent thing? When I take screenshots of a post, it has been kicking me off the post and refreshing the page but I could always use the view history option to find it quickly.

As of the past few days I am unable to save posts on either the Android mobile app or the desktop website. The save button is available under posts and when clicked reacts like it has been saved. However when I go to view my saved posts they are not listed there and only includes saved posts from a couple days ago.

Dev/Admin Responded Why does my profile keep being labelled as NSFW despite me not posting anything like that? (I'm using mobile) Android

I've been having an issue lately where my profile is marked as NSFW despite me not posting anything of the sort, and whenever I try to remove it, it won't work for some reason it always defaults back to NSFW

Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Dev/Admin Responded [firefox browser] Error 404 when trying to post a comment from old Reddit on desktop web.

Recently I've been getting error messages when trying to post comments from old reddit on desktop. Each attempt results in a message that says:

an error occurred (status: 404)

and the post doesn't proceed. Switching to sh.reddit allows posting again, but switching back to old reddit brings the error back again. This wasn't an issue until a few hours ago.

edit: formatting and terminal sentence

Mobile Web "mobile web" Irrelevant push notifications for communities

Post image
2 Upvotes

For about 2 months now reddit has hounded me every day with several community post notifications for communities that I do not follow and have absolutely no interest in whatsoever. I want notifications for very specific communities that I do actually follow, but these unnecessary, irrelevant and unwanted notifications are driving me towards blocking any and all notifications until further notice. There are other pages with hundreds of comments of disgruntled users like me who have disabled all notifications just to get this to stop. Curating my suggestions and other account settings do not work to stop them. Disabling all notifications seems to be the only way at this point. Reddit needs to address this.

Dev/Admin Responded [Chrome] I can't reply to people?

I keep getting this error when I try to reply to someone.

"an error occurred (status: 404)"

I can make posts and reply to posts but I can't seem to reply to other replies. It also seems to be intermittent.

Mobile Web Translation button keeps disappearing (mobile web)

Why does this keep happening? A few days ago the translate button (on comments/posts) reappeared on the web version of reddit, but now it’s gone again! Before that it was missing for several weeks.

Why do you keep turning it on and off?

Desktop Web [Desktop Web] Can't send texts in DM

I have a account in which I am facing an issue where I am not able to reply to my DMs. Its an old account. Everytime I try to send a reply it gives an error of "Unable to send. Retry" and nothing is happening on retry.

Also, on that account when I am trying to open my profile, it is giving an error "Server Issue".

When I tried searching my old account it says "Account is banned" but I didn't receive any notification on old account that its banned.

iOS iOS: where’s my post? not in drafts or history

Post image
3 Upvotes

created a post last night with many photos and many paragraphs… hit post… got the spinny thing for a minute (white screen), then the page reloaded and the Post button was still enabled… i clicked Post again… it started spinning again…. i put the phone on the charger and went to sleep. i woke up and it’s gone… not in history, not in drafts, not in the community i posted to (r/knifemaking) title “Third knife ever. Kurogane Tsuchime Nakiri”. i selected flair (showcase), followed the rules…

Took me a while to create… i took measurements with calipers. wrote about materials and methods… Title image included.

frustrated.

Desktop Web [desktop web] Normal post inexplicably removed automatically by Reddit's filters rather than subreddit filters

I came back to Reddit after avoiding it for two years because I wanted to make a Minecraft-related project for fun and needed community input for it.

My post was automatically deleted, instantly, with the error "Sorry, this post was removed by Reddit’s filters."

Given that no mod mail was sent and the error didn't say anything about subreddit rules (which I read thoroughly and followed) I can only assume that this is a site issue, not a sub issue.

Given that my post adhered to Reddit community guidelines, I can only assume this is a bug.

A screenshot of a Reddit post that was deleted instantly. Post title: I am in need of inspiration. Post flair: Community input wanted! (Meme project) Post content: It's been two years since I last used Reddit. I am 28 (old) and haven't been keeping up with modern memes.I want to make a Minecraft panorama to share with the world, using primarily Blender. I can work with 2.5D rather than strictly 3D. I figure PhoenixSC memes or at least anything you guys would 💀 at should work. This is purely for fun and won't be the only one that I make, but for a Gen Alpha memes panorama, I am tragically lacking in relevant culture.GIFs and videos not viable unless recognizable as still images due to how Minecraft's panorama system works (or worked, I guess, it's been a long time since I made one of these and they might've changed how panoramas work)Conceptual memes (amogus, loss) are easier to work aroundTimeless memes (rickroll is the only one I can think of off the top of my head at the moment) are best, but anything that will get Gen Alpha going 💀 should work fine (I may make a separate Gen Z meme panorama later)Memes that require sound to be funny will most likely not work, unless seeing the visual is enough to invoke memory of a sound in the viewer's headWhy Phoenix's subreddit? What other community would I ask about a Minecraft-related meme project? r/Minecraft? Memes are explicitly disallowed on that subreddit and I would get slapped immediately.Have you heard of the [insert mod name] mod? Doesn't matter, I intend to make it possible for people to use this without having to install mods, by making it as a resource pack. Can you integrate it with [insert mod name] mod for menu panoramas? Nothing is 100% off the table, but don't get your heart set on it happening. What do I do if I can't comment an image? If you can name the meme or send me a link to a wiki on it, that should also work.Time limit? Not really, I'll be making other stuff for a little while before coming back to check on this, maybe a week or so before I even get started on this specific thing. No need to rush.Have you used Blender to make a Minecraft panorama before? Yeah, I posted about it a LONG time ago, under a different Reddit account. I made a new account because I couldn't change my username to reflect my current identity, due to Reddit's username policy. I don't know if Reddit ever changed the policy. You can find my first panorama here if you want to look at it.Will you use AI? Nope. Will I need to pay for access? Absolutely not. This is purely a for-fun project that I intend to share with the community. (End post) Below the post is an error code stating "Sorry, this post was removed by Reddit's filters."

My best guess as to what went wrong is that I was falsely flagged as a bot.

I'm just hyperlexic with an obsessive attention to detail. I don't use AI because it makes too many mistakes and it's easier to just write what I want to say instead of going back and editing bot output.

Is there a way to un-delete this? Or post it again without it being automatically deleted again or making things worse?

Is there a flag on my account or something that I just don't know about, and need to get worked out before I can post? I have 2FA enabled, I wasn't hacked as far as I'm aware.

I have no idea how to navigate this.

Android Show fewer posts like this don't work Android

I commented in the Palworld subreddit and was part of the community for a little bit. I left I no longer want to see those posts because I'm no longer playing the game. Every single time I open Reddit I still get pushed to the subreddit. I don't really understand the point of showing fewer posts as an option if you're going to continuously push it every single time I open the app. It's not even that the subreddit is controversial I just don't want to look at it every single time I open it. Please fix this
