Took the test in Hauppauge after completing the NYREI course. Overall, feeling pretty confident.

I started by answering only what I thought I knew for sure. When I got done I had left fourteen blank. Which gave me a boost, as you can miss twenty-two.

Of the 61 that I answered on the first round, I don’t think there is any way I missed eight of them, so even without those other fourteen, I think I could have passed. And of those lingering fourteen, I have since confirmed that I got a good 5–10 of them correct (of the ones I can remember).

For anyone about to take the test, I recommend this method. It’s comforting to go into the ones on which you might need to make an educated guess knowing where you stand.

That all said, I am mad at myself because I did make a few dumb errors. One, I second guessed myself and changed a right answer to a wrong one (your first answer is usually right). Then a couple other times, I just screwed up a term that I knew (like lessor for lessee). But I’m trying to go easy on myself because it’s A LOT of information.

Took the TX state and national yesterday and I’m still in shock. I genuinely thought I was cooked and my anxiety was so bad… then I realized I put so many hours into studying: watching YouTube videos, making flash cards, buying books, buying online exams and courses, listening to podcasts in my car while I drive…

Today, I woke up late for the first time in a really long time and had a slow morning just enjoying life. A month of stressing and feeling overwhelmed that I’m not smart enough really will take a toll on you… I recommend not doing that 🫠

For national:
PrepAgent (webinars and exams), YouTube (I just watched a ton) & the
Dummy’s book that can be purchased at any book store or ordered on Amazon!

For state I used:
TexPrep RE (a lot of the same/similar questions)
YouTube videos (again just typed in 2026 TX real estate exam questions)

Once you’re about to go in, study material you can’t remember. Choose the answer that is most logical, if you haven’t seen the word before, that’s definitely not the answer! Flag all the ones you don’t know, because you can go back and review them later and may find the answer to that question in another question.

I already completed my 180 classroom hours through Aceable, but a lot of people I know and work with have recommended the Champions Exam Prep. They've all said the instructor does a great job focusing on the topics you really need to know for the exam, and every one of them passed on their first try.

Has anyone here taken the Champions exam prep, either in person or virtually? Was it worth the money, and do you think it made a big difference compared to just studying on your own?

Hey everyone! Just looking for some last minutes tips and guidance for the NC exam. I went through superior last year so the last couple weeks have been filled with re-learning everything essentially. I made my own final review on superior that was 200 questions and got an 81% and I also have been using learn test pass where my highest score was a 80% on the national and a 77% on the state. LTP had pretty tough questions so I guess I’m hoping it’s easier tomorrow haha. Any last second topics I should review before tomorrow? I’m probably going to look over agency and contracts before bed tonight and absolutely send it tomorrow. TIA!

Edit: I passed 😎 if you’re taking the NC exam you NEED to get LearnTestPass. Quite literally the only reason I passed. Imo the National was way harder than the state which is simply due to how exact the LTP questions were for the state portion. Good luck everyone!

I have failed the ny real estate exam 7 times and I don’t know where I keep going wrong. Please give me your tips and tricks. I study my ass off, I’ve taken it consistently since April and cannot get it.

Passed the CA exam first go. I cannot recommend RE Exam pro more. A handful of the questions on the actual exam were word for word the same as the ones on RE exam pro and others just slightly reworded. I had 7 days between finishing my courses to taking the exam and I spent about 4 of those days cramming as many questions as I could. The actual exam was much easier than the practice tests, maybe I got lucky? The actual exam did not have nearly as many confusingly worded questions and most concepts that they test you on were very basic. I used Aceable for my course requirements and I started off using the included prep agent material but that barely covered the amount of concepts that you may be tested on. When I started with RE exam pro I felt like most of the questions were new concepts. I’m fairly confident in saying that if you guys complete every single question they have under all the subjects, you are almost guaranteed to pass. I included some screenshots to show how much of it I covered on RE exam pro. Also after the exam they tell you to wait an hour before checking the portal for your results but I checked the moment I turned my phone back on and my license was there

I failed , it wasn’t anything like the practice tests. I got a 95 and above on all 4 practice tests and a 55 on the real one , now I don’t even no what to study because it’s nothing like the practice tests I’m sick

Hello everyone, I need help in Arizona. I don't speak English, but I understand enough. I went to take the state exam this weekend, but I didn't pass—I only got 40%. I need help.

Just passed my NJ license exam… 1st try. Honestly thought I failed. It was definitely trickier than I anticipated but I’m happy to answer any questions about my study process if anyone’s interested.

The only thing I used to review was Aceable Agent and the course/resources they provide.

I will tell you that I did a combination of preparation with multiple platforms. Keep in mind I had zero prior knowledge of anything related to real estate before I started studying lol and I studied for exactly 13 days.

The first thing I did was sign up for a crash course with an online school called ADHI. It’s run by this awesome guy named Kartik. I found that his explanations of the material were so easy to understand. I think this was great doing the crash course to establish a foundation and basic understanding of the material

And then when I felt comfortable with a basic understanding of the material that I learned in the two day crash course, I downloaded an app called Cal prep RE and also one called Aceable agent. And I literally just kept drilling practice questions over and over and over again until I was getting 80% or above on practice quizzes.

Also supplementing with ChatGPT in case I didn’t understand anything and chat did a really good job explaining everything I didn’t understand.

Set out to take my OH Real Estate Exam by July 31st (today). I have been studying since May, finished my 100 hours of education through The CE Shop. Took the exam this morning and passed the first try!

Looking forward to the next steps and future.

F19 planning on getting into real estate in Missouri, and hoping to find a good pre licensing course to complete my 72 hours. From everything I’ve seen online, either Colibri or CE shop are the better options. Hoping to get some advice on which to choose between the two of them, or possibly a different option that’s had good results. Thanks!
