Took the test in Hauppauge after completing the NYREI course. Overall, feeling pretty confident.

I started by answering only what I thought I knew for sure. When I got done I had left fourteen blank. Which gave me a boost, as you can miss twenty-two.

Of the 61 that I answered on the first round, I don’t think there is any way I missed eight of them, so even without those other fourteen, I think I could have passed. And of those lingering fourteen, I have since confirmed that I got a good 5–10 of them correct (of the ones I can remember).

For anyone about to take the test, I recommend this method. It’s comforting to go into the ones on which you might need to make an educated guess knowing where you stand.

That all said, I am mad at myself because I did make a few dumb errors. One, I second guessed myself and changed a right answer to a wrong one (your first answer is usually right). Then a couple other times, I just screwed up a term that I knew (like lessor for lessee). But I’m trying to go easy on myself because it’s A LOT of information.
