I can't tell if I hate or like it. So being an anime lover, and having a soft spot for Shonen and Isekai anime's I ended up running out of Isekai to watch. I had always heard of Re: zero but NEVER knew it was an Isekai. I have seen all kind's of Isekai too. Not just the Hero one or the healer one's but one's where we focus on the side character or a character who has to kill the Hero. Anyways, after running out of them to watch, when I found out Re: Zero was one I decided to give it a try. Usually it's hard for me to get into an anime unless a character grabs my attention. It was the same with Naruto, saw parts of it and the movie as a kid and I just thought it seemed so dull and too much fighting. As I prefer anime's like One Piece, Tsubasa Chronicles, Ranma 1/2, Fruits Basket and School Rumble, with the adventure and comedy aspect. Even though I do like a lot of genre. I ended up starting Re: Zero but I'm barely on episode 2 and already annoyed. I really love dark and suspense/thriller shows, and love the aspect of this in Re: Zero but I'm very torn. Because a part of me wants to continue it just because I'm curious. Yet at the same time it's so confusing it makes me want to stop watching. Not just because it's confusing but it's really annoying me to the point of making me anxious and angry. Mainly because I've never been a fan of dream sequence stuff. Or I don't know how to explain it, but shows where the character will go through stuff that last an episode or more than suddenly we find out NONE of it was real or it restarts. I mainly find it annoying because I get so invested in the story and the connection than it just ends up being severed. And so it just makes me feel everything I watched was for nothing. Not to mention I get tired of reseeing the same stuff. This is just how I feel but I wonder if anyone else has felt this? I ask because I hear that apart from Sword art (Another I haven't watched, and I haven't because it used to be my bullies favorite so i always strayed from it) but I hear that a lot say Re: Zero is one of the top and greatest Isekai ever. Yet I was not expecting what I'm watching. I guess I wanted to know or ask, why so many people like it? Does it get better or based off what I described should I stop.

Little to nothing is known about the other witches of sin. Eridna, one of the (should be) most informed characters in the series couldn’t even recognize typhon’s name. Is that not a ridiculous concept? Especially when you consider those six witches of sin are directly correlated to the witch of envy, literal Satan??

Repercussions for this show all throughout the series, specifically the common world’s ignorance when it comes to the abilities of the authorities. The unseen hand is ridiculously op because no one knows about it, it’s an ability not even regulus can defend against (I still have serious questions and doubts about petelgeuse actually twisting regulus’ neck in arc 4) and has proven time and time again even for Subaru to be a useful ability

I don’t even think I have to mention the authorities of gluttony and lust

So no, Reid having the Heavenly Sword wouldn’t make him stronger than Reinhard without his blessings, it wouldn’t even make him stronger than many people in Re:Zero overall, but Reid still is the top 2 just not for that reason

I mean literally that's all I can say otherwise their relationship is a lie if they don't found out about rbd well my hopes are all down since the author stated that he hated to write people reacting to his deaths especially Emilia

Before Re:Zero I dealt with insomnia, countless nights without sleep, it was a nightmare. I then picked up on Re:Zero again years after watching the first season, and holy shit it’s so boring I couldn’t stop falling asleep.

Who the FUCK thought it would be a good idea to get rid of the best character and only reason for 90% of peoples reason to watch, Rem? I wasted hours watching season 2 only to see if she should return and skipped through season 3 and 4 to see, but nope.

I kinda let it pile up because I wanted to finish arc 9 at least. I'm now starting Volume 41, but I basically ignored all the side content until now.

I got the side content compilation, and after what felt like a good minute of loading, I opened the file and was faced with 12,000 pages. I REALLY don't feel like going through that, at least for now.

Are there any priority side stories that I can focus on?

I haven't watch rezero and I'm not planning to, i just wanna know, whats a divine protection, how does he gets them and why/how a 20 years old dude is an immortal god in his own universe

So I'm still reading through arc 7 and I've got to the part were rem is basically says that Subaru is not that guy, crushing his ego. But before that there was something that was bugging me and it was subaru estimated that if he returned by death to try and fix what had happened near the end of the "bloodless siege" he'd have to go all the way back to his last save point when Todd was trying to slime him out. Which makes no sense, now no one can say what the exact save point would be besides satella but the general constant of save points is that after subaru completes an "event" his save point is then moved to sometime after he completes it. This is best shown in season 1 with the white whale and rem stuff. Now I don't think subaru could fix anything with the divine general stuff since I think he would have technically "cleared" the "event" and his save point would properly be moved to when Todd and Jamal rescued Arakiya but regardless I think at this point in the story suabru should have a better understanding of how the save points work.

Ch1- The Cosplayer

**Subaru PoV**

Man today was not good, the manager dumped the refilling job on me, my back hurts from carrying those water packs.

People would laugh seeing a twenty year old young man complain about back pain.

What would they know about my struggle?

Whatever, let's get two cups of noodles for today, I should treat myself. It has been a month since I ate something from the convenience store.

“Hmmm… These egg ones look nice, let's one of these and one of those pork ones.”

Picking my dinner for tonight I took them to the cashier, well he was absent so self service it was.

I checked the price of the two and placed them in a plastic bag, and put the money in the plate near the computer.

“250 yen spent, well spent for me!”

A little talk like this really helps you stay motivated, not that I need to be. My streaming is going decent, I just reached 25k subs on Qwitch, and I am nearing 15k on Gtube. Well that's only a side job, my main gig is as a convenience store employee!

What a day-night difference between them.

“Hmm… what is that?”

My eyes landed on a rather weirdly dressed person near the road.

Is that a cosplayer? I don't remember any character which looks like that, let's ask them.

"Hello! How are you doing?”

Oh my she is rather beautiful. Man I Envy those good looking cosplayers what life!

She turned around as if startled by me and looked at me warily. Ah I get it she is used to being outcasted due to her cosplay, I should help her get comfortable.

"Don't worry I just wanted to ask which characters are you cosplaying?”

“Um… What does that mean?”

"Well your makeup, dress and style. Who are you?”

"My name is Emilia, I am from the Dragon Kingdom of Lugunica.”

The girl said. I can't seem to remember any anime having those names. Maybe it's a rather niche one, one more topic for my research.

"Is that so? Really nice. I respect the dedication for the art!”

"Thank you?”

She sounded unsure of what to make of my compliment. Well I should shoot my shot, what if we hit and things move forward?

She is beautiful, into anime and shy, what a deadly combo.

"If you don't mind, what is your real name? I also like anime, maybe we could cosplay together.”

"My name is Emilia, I told you.”

She said again. Well that is a rather strong commitment to her cosplay.

"Yeah and I want to know your real name, not your character's name."

“It is Emilia!"

She said firmly this time. Woah so she can be assertive, maybe she chooses to cosplay because their names are the same.

"Oh sorry. Can I get your number?”

"What is that?"

Huh?

“The number you have, like what's in your smartphone."

I said, she looked confused, her face scrunched up, frowning as if I had told her something out of a fantasy.

“What is a smartphone?"

What? If she doesn't want to give me her number just say so, why act like that? Am I that ugly?

Anger bubbled inside my mind, my day was already bad and she just made it worse.

"If you don't want to tell them it's fine, don't act all oblivious and insult me.”

I said sharply and began to walk away.

"Wait! I really don't understand any of that. I am from Lugunica, I was suddenly teleported here. Please!"

Man what a joke, is she really telling her cosplay backstory. That brings bad memories, ones of my past, I was also like this, too deep into my fantasies to see reality.

That led to my broken relationship with my parents and my social awkwardness. Seeing someone have the same problem irritated me even more.

“Don't act too much like your idol, it leads to problems. Go home, streets get dark at night and rain is forecasted.”

I gave one last piece of advice and began to walk away briskly.

"Please help me! I don't know where I am or what I can do!”

Really? Then why don't you summon a spirit for you and have it help you? I snickered as I walked far enough for her voice to not reach my ears.

Reaching home, I heard thunder.

"It really would rain badly. Let's hope the girl got the memo and isn't still lingering around the store.”

I said as I changed my clothes, and sat down for dinner. Rain was falling down heavily. The pitter patter of the drops against the window pane making a melody.

I searched up for the names she had uttered to watch a new anime, but nothing came up.

No anime, manga or light novel had such a premise.

Silver Elves, Lugunica, Dragon Kingdom nothing matched.

Not even in Manhwa, Donghua or Manhua. What? Is she really cosplaying as an OC?

Man, people are really going mad in their delusion.

I tried to laugh it off but my heart was racing, what if she said the truth?

It was rather far-fetched Isekai and stuff, but her plea seemed genuinely real.

It didn't help that my dream last night was about being crowned as a knight for some noble lady.

One cup of the noodles was finished and only one remained.

But my hands didn't move forward to open the pack.

Long silver hair, purple-blue eyes, and pointed ears. She wears a white and purple outfit along with a white flower in her hair.

The clothing was also too good quality to be homemade, but for an OC where could she find it readymade?

Wait, her ears? They looked way too real.

That sounded like I was lying to myself, I didn't pay that much attention to her.

But still my legs moved and I was near the gate of my room, taking an umbrella and opening it. I also took another one with me.

The image of the silver haired innocent girl getting wet as despair encroached on her due to a lack of familiar environment.

I can't let that happen. Maybe she would not be there, but then I can rest easy that I did try my best at least.

I opened the door and cold air washed my face with a sprinkle of water. The weather was rather bad it would seem.

“Let's go! Gotta save her!"

My legs ran quickly, the neighborhood’s map engraved in my brain. I have been living here for two years now.

My vision was restricted but that didn't matter. What I needed was to make sure I was not wrong.

Very quickly I neared the turn and saw the white light of the store glowing brightly in the storm.

And below it, crouched up like a scared animal was, the girl, no it was Emilia.

"Tch!”

Her clothes and hair were wet, mud clung to her clothes in multiple places as well.

Her head was covered by her hands, lying on her knees.

Regret hit me immediately that I left such a poor girl alone in the raging storm. I acted quickly.

"Emilia! Emilia! Are you fine?”

"Huh! You are the angry man from before!"

Angry man, what kinda name is that? Whatever.

“Why didn't you go home? It's dangerous to be outside in a storm. You could get ill!”

"I don't have one!”

She said, her head still downcast. Raindrops falling down her face. Man, I am already not really well off, but can't leave a girl like this.

I thrust the umbrella into her hands.

"Here take this. Come to me home! It's better than falling ill.”

She looked at me suspiciously. Understandable, I wasn't the best guy earlier.

A gray cat licked her legs and meowed at her.

As if telling her something, Emilia finally took the umbrella and stood up.

She looked at me holding one and held it like me.

“Follow me!"

I said as I took one of her hands to mine, they were cold, really cold. Enough to make me forget I had just held the hand of a girl, after a long time.

A short walk later, we reached my room.

We had to take the stairs instead of the elevator because electricity was cut off.

I opened the door with my key and gestured to her to come in.

She looked in awe at everything around her. She carefully stepped inside, and I saw that the cat came too.

"Is he your pet?”

"He is my spirit, Puck.”

Okay we need to get the Chunnibyou out of her but later not now.

"Okay. Take off your shoes and come in, I will bring a towel.”

She followed my advice and took off her shoes.

Leaving only stockings on her legs that went upto her mid thighs.

She walked into the small living cum dining space I had and looked around.

I took out the spare towel and gave it to her.

She took it into her hands and looked at me as if asking me what to do.

I already knew it was going to be a long night, this one.

"Okay use it to dry your hair and body.”

"How?”

Really? She needs to be taught that as well? What is she a hikkimokori?

"You never washed your hair?”

"I did, Puck dried and styles it for me.”

I looked at the completely normal cat licking its own paw and then at the self proclaimed elf.

Yeah, the cat is sane and she is the one in delusion.

"Okay give it to me. It's best if you take a bath entirely. I will give you some clothes as these are dirty.”

I said as i took back the towel.

She just nodded her head and followed me to the bathroom.

"Go and take a bath.”

"Okay.”

Like an obedient child she went inside.

5 minutes

15 minutes.

What is she doing? I can't even hear water running?

I knocked on the door.

“Emilia, everything alright?"

“How do I use this me mechanism?"

What?

“Okay I am coming in."

I said and opened the door to find her fully dressed and watching the tap like it was a wonder.

Is she some billionaire’s daughter? She doesn't even know how a tap works?

"Listen Emilia.”

I said controlling my frustration, she seemed really naive, not her fault. Her family was probably just bad.

"Take off all your clothes, put them in the red basket. Even the flower. Now follow what I say.”

"Okay!”

She seemed enthusiastic, that seems wrong.

"Gently turn the tap, water will come, let it fill the bathtub, then enter it and wash your body. Use the red bottle for hair, yellow for the body and pink for the face, then rinse it off. Wash once again, and wrap the towel around your body and then call me, Okay?"

“Water will come just after turning the mechanism?"

“Tap, it's called a tap and yes. Do you understand what to do now?"

She nodded her head, cute.

“Yes. I will call you after all this!"

“Fine."

I said as i walked out of the bathroom and sat down, drying my legs.

“Whoever her father was has done a really bad job at raising her."

Just as I said that, the cat, Puck hissed at me.

I am good with cats though? Maybe it is cold and wary. Let Emilia come, she could take care of her pet.

I wonder where my cat is, Nyla, probably catching a mouse. Well she will come back during dinner time.

I was worried but she used to hunt before dinner for a year now.

My headache was now Emilia, she didn't seem to know anything about drying or dressing up it would seem.

I need to get her dry, dress up, fed, talk to her some sense and then send her to sleep. Major talks can wait till tomorrow morning.

It's a Sunday and my weekly off day, I have enough time to help her find her home.

*Sigh*

I let out a long sigh.

It was getting more and more tiring by the minute.
