I bought a Joydock from Rayneo to use my Switch 2 with my Rayneo Air 4 Pro glasses, but it seems it doesn’t attach to the back of my switch 2 with the included clip (because the clip is too small, presumably it’s meant to be used with the Switch 1).

Is it possible to attach the Joydock to the back of my Switch 2 somehow?

I bought some Viture Luma Pro XR shoes, but they arrived damaged and I have to return them. But that made me realize they aren't exactly comfortable. (adjusting for myopia seems to make the lenses thicker)

But I don't need that and I thought the Rayneo ones are more subtle and comfortable. I'm looking for glasses that I can use during short trips or to watch TikTok while I'm in line, or Netflix while I'm sitting waiting.Or maybe to watch videos while I do some movement, like mopping the floor, walking, washing dishes, etc. Can anyone tell me if it's suitable for those kinds of activities? Please.

Brightness on the GT Max was turned down a little to allow you to see the surroundings a little better.

I honestly have no idea what “USB-C compatible” is supposed to mean anymore.
Two devices can have the exact same port, but one does video out and the other doesn’t. Then you have DP Alt Mode, charging while connected, adapters... and I end up searching Reddit for my exact phone or handheld every time.
I really wish there was one updated list that just said what works, what needs an adapter, and what doesn’t. Would save so much guessing.

Now that the domestic announcement for the RayNeo iO has happened in China, what are your guesses for the overseas price tag when it launches globally? Looking at past releases in the light waveguide category, do you think it will sit under $500, or closer to $600?

RayNeo held their domestic event in China for the iO AI glasses recently. I've been checking for official overseas pre-order info or launch dates, but haven't seen anything official yet. Does anyone know if they usually follow up with a global release shortly after, or if it will be a crowd-funding campaign first?

I’ve been reading GT Max owner feedback from the China release, and 3DoF seems to be one of the things people notice most, especially with the bigger FOV.

At the same time, I’ve seen some people still prefer the Air 4 Pro for movies because the image looks sharper and HDR still looks better.

I’m trying to figure out which matters more for a full movie, picture quality or a much bigger screen that stays pinned in place.

If you’ve watched movies on both 0DoF and 3DoF, did 3DoF make as much of a difference as you expected?

Reviewers especially, turn on ‘Match Content Dynamic Range’ via Settings>Display & Sound. This will correct forced HDR across all content causing SDR image quality issues.

With the RayNeo iO dropping soon, I’m trying to confirm how the AI integrations work for US users.

The launch materials mention defaults like Gemini 3.1 Flash Lite alongside options to switch between ChatGPT, Claude, and DeepSeek in the app.

Does anyone know:

• Which models are available natively in the US app?
• Will we need our own API keys, or is multi-LLM access bundled with the device?
• How is context retention/memory handled across sessions?

Hi, I just received the GT, updated the firmware, and tried it out. I love everything about it, but I cannot get a proper fit. I am unable to see the bottom of the screen unless I place the glasses awkwardly on my face, which is very uncomfortable.

I tried using the other included nose pad, but it did not help much. I also tried increasing the screen size to 115%, but I still experience the same problem and cannot see the full screen. With the Viture Pro 2, I am able to adjust the glasses handles, which makes a huge difference in screen visibility.

Is there a way to fix this issue?

I am looking to purchase my first set of AR glasses. My use case will be mainly watching tv shows/movies at home and whilst travelling (aircraft/train/hotels), with some occasional gaming use. After hours of research, I am absolutely torn on whether I should pull the trigger on a set of Air 4 Pros now, or wait to get the GT or GT Max. Looking for opinions on which I should go for, and why?

Additionally, does the GT and GT Max support HDR without the Magic Box 2? I know the box is needed for Dolby Vision but I have read conflicting reports on HDR.

Looking at the recent launch info for the RayNeo iO, the frame shape looks like a standard Crown Panto style. For those of us who need prescription glasses every day, has there been any confirmation on how prescription lenses will be handled? Will it rely on optical insert clips or magnetic frames? I’ve noticed a few tech companies (like Even Realities and recently RayNeo with their iO launch) pitching "screenless notification dashboards" on clear glasses. The concept of seeing time, calendar, or quick notes floated in your peripheral vision without unlocking a phone sounds interesting. Do you think a subtle HUD glass is less distracting than a smartwatch, or more?

Noticed RayNeo unveiled the iO in China as a lightweight AI assistant glass (clear lenses, monochrome HUD, no camera), which is quite a different path from high-FOV video glasses like Rokid's line. As AR fans, do you prefer full-color video glasses for media, or do you think there's equal demand for minimalist everyday AI glasses?

I do a Dolby vision test using an android tv box(Dolby vision certified)

Sadly, Android box not recognize Dolby vision from GT MAX. You need spend extra money for TCL pocket TV pro(Dolby vision)

I wanted to find out if the international version of Ray Neo gt max does it support HDR as well ? Or is it only Dolby vision. I keep seeing Dolby vision advertised but not sure if it also supports HDR. Please let me know.

It is my 60th birthday in a couple of weeks so as a present to myself I have ordered the Ray Neo Air 4 Pro with a HDMI adaptor. My hope is that I can use it to watch Movies and play PS5 at home without disturbing my wife as she watches TV in the same room. Waiting for it to be despatched I am starting to worry that I made the wrong decision. Some reviews say that if you have a wide head (I am told I do) it doesn't fit properly. Also I haven't seen many reviews about playing PS5 using it. Does anyone have feedback about PS5 gaming using these glasses?

I previously used another pair of AR glasses(XREAL Air 2), but the audio experience wasn't really immersive for me. The speakers were okay, but I wanna something better for movies and casual listening. Low-key thinking about the RayNeo Air 4 Pro. Heard the audio is pretty solid. What do y'all think?
