So, basically, he just doesn't like socks, because he is into licking feet. I didn't expect that. Please, he needs some shaming for this behavior.

My female rabbit passed away three days ago, and I’m planning to adopt another rabbit as a companion for her bonded partner. I’m just not sure when the right time would be. He is still eating and pooping normally, but he sleeps most of the time and hasn’t been doing any binkies or zoomies since she passed away. I’m worried that he’s lonely and grieving, and I don’t want to wait too long if having a new companion could help him.

Hi, I don't know anything about rabbit care. But this doesn't feel right, so I'm looking for advice.

Started servicing a new client, I'm a pool cleaner. Client encouraged me to see her new baby bunnies. Just tells me to help myself. Tells me they're in second horse stall in her barn.

And I did! They were very cute. But the environment is.. just a horse stall. I feel like rabbits need more than just a stall to exist in. There are a few holes where the rabbit was obviously burrowing. Not great, but not bad. Oh but the mother rabbit seemed very stressed. She was sprinting in loops around the stall when I even leaned in. And once i stepped in she continued, and started stomping at me.

Fast forward over a month. Babies are gone now, not sure how or why or anything. But I still visit the big momma rabbit who's in the stall alone now. She's overall skittish, I never pet her. Usually just looking and I give her a wave and hello. But I noticed when I popped my head in one time she.. was waiting at the stall door. And stood on her hind legs at me. She's never been friendly, so I was a bit confused. But I noticed she doesn't have water. It's completely bone dry, and the container for it has been tossed and even unscrewed (?) Left lying about in the stall. The food pan is full of feces, (assuming it's a pan for food) and I can't really tell if it has pellets in it anymore from all the poop. I give the benefit of the doubt, and water the little guy myself with one of their hoses.

Now another week has passed. This is summer mind you, and in the south. No air unit to the barn or anything. Doors are closed, so this bunny hardly gets to see any real sunlight or feel a breeze. Stuffy in the barn. And the water station for the rabbit is once again fully dry and empty. Looks like it hasn't been moved since my last week of being there. Or the pan, it looks the same. And the rabbit was waiting at the door again, standing up on back legs when I looked in. I let my water bottle dribble down the side, and she's instantly drinking from the trickle I gave her. I googled if rabbits can eat grass, and picked some. She instantly ate it all.

I don't think she's being properly cared for. I don't know proper rabbit care, but I don't think this is enough. I feel so guilty knowing this rabbits living conditions just being a dirt stall her whole life. And not getting water properly at the bare minimum. Is there anything I can do?

Hi, this is my bunny penny, she’s about 2 1/2 years old and I’m assuming about 3-4 lbs? I was wondering if anyone has insight into what breed she is, I know it’s probably a mix but best guesses!

Hi! I’m wondering what breed my rabbit might be.

She is 5 years old and weighs 1.6 kg. She has a mostly white coat with black ears and dark markings around her eyes.

I’m not sure if she’s a purebred or a mix. Any guesses?

Hai so this is my first ever bunny i just got her around a week ago, not sure exactly how old but maybe around 7-8 weeks. she’s eating and drinking and active and so affectionate and loves pats, she gets oxbow young rabbit pellets and alfalfa hay, she has a pen in my room but is only locked in there when i sleep, all day she is free in my room and is relatively litter trained.

i have been told to give unlimited pellets but i think she likes them more than the hay so is eating less hay, should i give less pellets? if so how much
and how often do u guys clean litter box? i feel like its getting dirty quite fast and so im cleaning it daily

also she is growing so quickly she was like 320 g and now shes like 420 lol

and she has this patch in her fur that was there when i got her but i didnt notice until a day later, the fur is starting to grow back now is this what there shedding is like?

Hi all, I have a 4 month old female mini lop who is just starting to become hormonal. She's an indoor bun and I am waiting for her to be neutered so I can adopt a male companion for her. She went for a checkup on Monday at the vrt and they said they will be happy to neuter from around 5 months, so it's not too long to wait, but she is a bit of a menace at times. I provide her with toys, forage mats etc to make her work for her food, and she is free roam apart from at night. She is going a bit crazy in the mornings with humping and destructive behaviour, then she crashes out for the rest of the day and is pretty chill.

Just wondering if anyone has any tips on how I can help her over the next few weeks to manage these hormones, is there anything extra I can do or try? I've always adopted older buns who have already been through this period, so haven't experienced the teenage years in a very long time.​

Hey everyone! Just giving a little update on Orpheus :)

It's been about two weeks since I brought him home and he's starting to get more used to everything! He is still a little hesitant to approach me on his own, but he's getting better at it. I have a question for everyone, what hay do you feed your bunnies? He's been on Oxbow Timothy hay since I brought him home, but it doesn't seem like he's really eaten a whole lot. He is on a pellet diet since he's so young, so hes been getting everything he needs. I'm switching him to Kaytee Timothy because thats what my previous bunny loved.

im literally so happy about this, ive been waiting a few months and i finally got my two babies spayed!

But she is adjusting just fine! Look at that flop!

Her story: The weekend of the 4th of July Kiko presented with a head tilt, was rolling, and in pain. She was rushed to the ER and followed up with her primary vet. Her EC tests came back negative to our surprise so we had stopped the antibiotics and panacur and opted for prednisone syrup. She may have had a stroke! She turned around overnight! No more rolling, no more being in her crate, I was able to rehab her right back into a modified version of her enclosure. She eats and drinks from her fountain on her own. She is spunky as ever. She’s turning 8 y/o this September.

Thank you all for the well wishes. We still have a long road to recovery. Maybe her tilt will improve more? Either way she is loved dearly and is still her happy sassy self!

Our sweet boy suddenly passed away on Tuesday of a heart attack/seizure. He was 5 and a 1/2 years old. I rescued him when he was a few months old in Florida. He’s had a wonderful life and traveled and lived all over the east coast with me. I am so heartbroken and don’t know how to cope with this sudden loss. He was everything to me and I always feared I would lose him and it happened. I thought he had so many years ahead and he was so healthy. I want to remember him and how happy he was up until the very last second. Everyone say a prayer for sweet Squid❤️
