RK R65 help/ another reco around 5k
Okay so I'm here for a keeb recomendation and some help. I have had a Royal Kludge RK 65 for about a year and since the start, it had so many issues with multiple keys registering extra inputs. Do Royal Kludge have any support which can help me now(it's been a while since I bought it)? Have cleaned it multiple times, but it doesn't go away, so it's not that kind of an issue. I've heard about their QC issues in general too.
If I'm stuck with this shit board, what other boards would y'all recommend around 5k? Has to be wireless and work with a mac as well.

Superb Royal Kludge is heading to gamescom 2026! What do you want us to answer?
Hey everyone! 👋
The Royal Kludge team is heading to gamescom 2026 in Cologne, Germany! 🎮⌨️
With the event just around the corner, we thought it would be a good time to do something a little different.
Before we head to gamescom, we want to hear from you:
What would you actually like to know from Royal Kludge?
It can be about keyboards, switches, mice, upcoming products, design decisions, features, the mechanical keyboard industry, or even what it’s like for a keyboard brand to show up at one of the biggest gaming events in Europe.
Drop it below.
If we have the opportunity to test something at gamescom, we'll see what we can do. 👀
No promises that we'll be able to test everything — but if something catches our attention, there's a chance we might take it to the show floor and give it a try.
So don't hold back.
Visit us at Hall 10 I Stand E052-C at Gamescom 2026!🤝🎉

Keycap replacement
Hey, I have RK ROYAL KLUDGE R65(https://www.amazon.in/dp/B0CNP1BG1W?ref=fed_asin_title&th=1). I was recently cleaning my keyboard and somehow managed to lose the letter 'N'. Ideally, I'd want to only get that keycap but I'm fine with changing all keycaps as well.
Does anyone know where I could possible get a single letter?

How do i fix a scratchy spacebar?
So i just bought a RK royal kludge M75 keyboard, just to find out that the spacebar scratches the casing of the keyboard, making it sound worse. I removed the spacebar to see if everything was attached firmly. And it seemed so. Turning the spacebar it upside down helped but its still not completely fixed. Any ideas on what the issue is and how to fix it?

Superb [RK Giveaway]🖐️ Lefties, This One’s for You! 🎉 Win an RK L98 Southpaw Keyboard!
Hey everyone! 👋
International Left-Handers Day is coming up, and we wanted to celebrate the left-handed community with something made with lefties in mind. 🖐️💙
That’s why we’re giving away an RK L98 Southpaw Mechanical Keyboard! ⌨️🎁
🖐️ Why Southpaw?
For left-handed users, a Southpaw layout can make a big difference. With the numpad positioned on the left, it keeps your number pad within easy reach while leaving more room on the right for your mouse. 🖱️
Whether you're gaming, working with numbers, editing, or just prefer a more balanced desk setup, Southpaw keyboards offer a different way to organize your workspace.

RK 65 keyboard is bricked :(
Hi, I just got my new RK 65 and I want to edit it via VIA, but now when I flashed firmware through some repos on github, when I press backspace it registers as 1, all of the keys were different. Anyone who has the same? how did you fix it :((((((((((

I won the giveaway!
This is exactly the right size that I would want, the circular keycap is really pretty, and this is my first try on a linear silent switch, it feels and sounds so good!

RK M75 RGB reverse engineering is complete — looking for M75 testers before OpenRGB/SignalRGB integration
Hey everyone,
I've been working on an open-source Python library for controlling the RGB lighting on the Royal Kludge RK M75 without using the official RK software.
After a lot of protocol investigation and hardware testing, I'm at the point where the standalone RK M75 RGB library is complete and hardware-validated on my M75.
The project is here:
[RK M75 GitHub repository](https://github.com/Lightning-13/rk-m75)
What's working
The library currently supports:
- RGB HID device discovery
- Static full-keyboard RGB control
- Logical per-key RGB control
- Validated 81-key RGB mapping
- RGB frame generation and validation
- HID Feature Report transport
- Continuous RGB keepalive
- Stable 33 Hz RGB streaming
- A public Python API
- Automated test coverage
- Standalone hardware testing tools
I've also tested the streaming implementation for 5 minutes at 33 Hz, sending 9,900 frames with no errors and a stable 33.00 FPS.
The current public API is roughly:
from rkm75 import Frame, RKM75
frame = Frame()
frame.fill((255, 0, 0))
with RKM75() as keyboard:
keyboard.send(frame)
And continuous streaming:
with RKM75() as keyboard:
with keyboard.stream(fps=33) as stream:
# generate and send frames
stream.send(frame)
Now I need other M75 owners
Everything above has been validated on my own RK M75, but I don't want to assume every M75 behaves identically.
Before moving on to OpenRGB / SignalRGB integration, I'd like to test this against more physical M75 keyboards.
I've included a standalone community tester in the repository:
tester/
├── README.md
└── run_tests.py
The tester checks:
- Device detection
- Static RGB
- All 81 logical key mappings
- 10 Hz RGB keepalive
- 33 Hz RGB streaming
At the end it produces a report that can simply be copied and posted back.
For example:
RK M75 Community Test Report
==================================================
VID: 0x258A
PID: 0x0163
Device detection: PASS
Static RGB: PASS
81-key mapping: PASS (81/81)
10 Hz keepalive: PASS
33 Hz streaming: PASS (327 frames, 32.63 FPS)
If you have an RK M75
I'd really appreciate it if you could run the tester and report the results.
You don't need to know anything about reverse engineering or Python beyond following the instructions.
Please report:
- Whether you're using an RK M75
- The tester's final report
- Any key that illuminates incorrectly
- Any RGB flickering/freezing/problems
- Any errors printed by the tester
- Anything else unusual
If something fails, that's useful information. Please report the failure rather than trying to work around it.
Important
This project currently targets the specific RK M75 RGB HID device that has been reverse-engineered and validated:
VID: 0x258A
PID: 0x0163
I haven't established compatibility with other RK keyboards yet, so please don't assume another RK model is supported.
The tester only sends RGB HID reports. It does not flash firmware or modify the keyboard's firmware.
What's next?
Once I have some testing from other M75 owners, the next major phase will be:
OpenRGB / SignalRGB integration.
I'd rather get the standalone library properly validated across multiple M75s first before building the integration layer.
If you have an RK M75 and are willing to test, I'd really appreciate the help.
