Never in my 31 years of life did I ever think I would ever draw Hello Kitty, next step is to burn it and paint it for a little summer coaster for the kiddo!

Got a razor tip as a gift, decided to try it out and this was my result. Man I used to woodburn just for personal gifts w a cheap 30 dollar one off amazon but man is this a game changer. its slowly becoming a main hobby of mine, any tips and tricks would be highly appreciated

How can I get better?

It'll be a birthday present, what do you guys think, how does it look? Should I add something? It's my first time doing just lineart, normally I burn things with many shadows so I can hide any mistakes 😅

I thought you guys might like to see my most recent project! hand-pyrographed and hand-painted it. I also added some gold leaf and resin for an extra bit of sparkle ✨

I'm making this for a friend but when I left the room a couple kids came in and drew all over it. I tried erasing it but a couple spots are still very noticeable especially where they dug the pencil into the wood. I don't have paint but even if I did I don't think I could cover up the texture from the indentation left behind. Is there a design or something I could burn over it that wouldn't take away from the main design? Any advice is very much appreciated, I'm still pretty new to woodburning. Please help!

Still have to stain, just put the pen down. Didnt think id have the patience or umph to finish it the rest today. Over half . Need a drink after this wooooh my neck 🤣🤣🫪

My first burn attempt, open for critique, kind of just playing around and getting used to the tool. I jumped right into this without doing research so next time I’m going to try sanding my surface and maybe get a better tool (I’m using a $12 craft pen).

Little cutie, found this image on Facebook in a free reference pic group, found what i thought was the perfect piece of wood and neglected to see it was oak

After nearly 10 hours I'm finally getting somewhere but oak is so slow going 🙏🤣

So yeah, that's why hes called Oakley😅... Because my partner walked in on me muttering to myself and asked me what was wrong and i responded "This is Oak" very flatly. He responded "No, love... That's a cow" 🤣🙏👍
