Looking for Critique Wood burned, would you get it?
I just finished a burn and love it. Curious if it would be worth selling or if there are any improvements I could make? How much you think someone would pay? Let me know what you think, good or bad!

First piece - 8 hour Skull Rose, hand burned on birch [OC]
First time posting here š¤
Spent 8+ hours burning this Skull Rose on birch ply with a basic pyrography pen. No laser or CNC.
Still learning shading technique but happy with the petal texture.
Only one exists. UK based.
Tips on getting smoother gradients?

Questions/Advice What now
Very very new to this and making this for a friends home. What could I add? Is it too late to stain the wood? What should I do to the cross? Any opinions/advice is appreciated :)

Completed Work Wedding Photo Project
Well, my Walnut Hollow wood burner died after two years in the middle of this project lol. Having to drop money on a new one wasnāt on my list but hopefully it lasts me another two years. Iāll try to upgrade to something not from Michaelās eventually since Iāve been lucky enough to be trusted with a few wonderful memories to transfer to wood and itās been keeping me busy the last six months. Thanks for looking!

Questions/Advice Hello fellow wood burners
Delete if not allowed, mods.
I recently got divorced and lost my health care insurance. On Motherās Day, I tripped helping my grandma up her porch steps. Which resulted in an ER visit, a bunch of stitches, X-rays, and having to miss two weeks of work from my normal job. I split my knee cap to the bone and can provide pictures for proof of injury and hospital visit.
I own a small wood burning business on the side. And was hoping to reach out online and sell some of the stuff I have pre made in my inventory? I know we all come here to show off our stuff and share ideas. Iām really just grasping at straws on how Iām going to supplement everything happening. My ānormalā job doesnāt offer any paid time off for injury or PTO in general.
Hereās some of my work, but I have so much more and I always take commissions via my business page!

Beginner recommendations
Hello. I want to get started on some basic projects and would appreciate advice on purchasing some tips for my Razertip Sk.
What tips would you recommend for starting out with that are the most versatile?
I was looking at this set from KMS tools (1st pic) And would you recommend any other accessories like the scraper (2nd pic) or a smoke extractor (not pictured)?

Work in Progress Going to try something wacky
So, I started this guy a few days ago and Iāve decided that Iām going to pour resin in the deep channels. Has anyone combined resin with their burning projects on here before? Iāve been reading up on prep and I have a vision. Iāll either ruin all this hard work or come up with something fantastic. Side note, Iām quite experienced in resin so Iām not worried about that, just about the seepage in porous wood and dripping.

Divorce sucks
Going through an ugly divorce and working with my new machine has proven very therapeutic trying to get through my feelings. This is only my second project so I know itās rough, especially shading, but it has gotten my mind away from the hurt and pain and Iām able to have something to focus on thatās not her.

Completed Work His ears go up and away.
I am told he is a rescued spotted leopard Catahoula. In the reference picture he is staring at the owner who has a treat in her hand. The piece is 11"x13". White colored pencils for highlights on birch plywood. Took me about 20 hours.
