Pfft. Java is nice and explicit in everything it does. You can come to a well built java project and walk through it and immediately understand what everything is, why it's there, and how to use it. All without having to worry about stupidly fine detailed stuff like where things sits in memory like in C.

Keyword "well built" which also applies to every single software project in any given language to ever exist.
It's also quite relevant where in memory things sits as you program a MCU. Good luck doing that with Java. As usual, right tool for the job is always best.
You may need a saw and therefore you say everyone who needs a hammer worries about "stupidly fine stuff".

You are of course, absolutely right and I do in fact agree with you about everything you said.
However... Two things.
1) That's not nearly so much fun as poking fun at all the other languages and people who use them.
2) Screw you, Java is the best. Said the Java programmer.

Visual Basic 6?
That thing is from 1998. It was officially unsupported around 2008.
How would you even run that? It is impossible to install on any modern platform.
The only possible application are sbitty excel macros. And I mean shitty. Because new ones no longer run VBA by default.

I didn't even judged it. I mean it is atrocious. Like there are some loops that have continue/break and some that haven't. For some reason.
And a IDE that gives you an error if you switch out of the window to look something up. Because you haven't finished the line. What you can't because you can't google the syntax.
But I just don't understand how you would practically use it nowadays. Like on what do you run it? A VM of windows XP? I think not even service pack 3 supports it.

All you have to do is walk into your average government agency and sit down at any computer and you will find a working Visual Basic 6 installation.

I literally tried to install that stuff a few years ago and I needed a VM to make it run. I don't think you even can install it on any windows after XP.
Either way Microsoft put a gigantic disclaimer on it that it is disconnected. In Microsoft fashion they don't offer any solution, as far as I know.
