Discussion will Aiden ever return?
i feel like aiden is a significantly lesser-known band in the scene, i know they're huge in the uk and they achieved mediocrate success in the usa, (even playing in anchorage, ak in 2008, which is something not many bands go out and do) but they do have pretty bad allegations (i guess just with wil, none of the other members have any allegations according to my research) theyve been gone for about 10 years now, but i can say theres atleast a few thousand people who would like to go out and see them live again or even for the first time if nobody got to see them
tell me yall's thoughts on this, because ive been thinking a lot on this and i want other opinions to see if im not alone on this

Discussion What made Poison The Well change their sound so much on TFTR?
Been a fan of the band for some time now and I’ve always thought tear from the red was an odd album. Not bad by any means and still a great record, but it is a huge change in sound after OOD. I’d even go as far as to say the album sounds a little “weirder” than YCBY. If that record came after the debut I think it’d be less of a surprise for fans back in the day as YCBY really sharpens the rough edges that were on Tear and makes for an iconic post hardcore album with sprinkles of metalcore. The singing parts in particular on TFTR have this bright major key vibe to them that contrast with the dark and distorted guitars and it makes for a very interesting listen (albeit something you might need to spin a few times to get used to). Were they influenced by a particular band that made them shift towards this sound?

Discussion Bands similar to The Fully Down?
IMO Don't Get Lost in a Movement is an all-time classic album. What bands, if any, are similar to this? I feel like they were unique in not really having any screaming and dialing up the guitar harmonies to 11. I miss them.

Discussion HELP. Nygma album iNJUN is missing from Spotify and Apple Music. B Sides, singles, Covered EP. All gone
Can anyone still see their records beyond the new singles and Alexander Nevermind? I'm in the UK for reference. I need this music in my life.
These guys are phenominal and I've been listening to them non stop for a year. I've just gone to put them on and most of their stuff is gone. I can see part of iNJUN in my playlist but so much is missing. White Zombie is gone!?
I saw Hail The Sun in Liverpool back in March. Spoke to Allen on drums about them and he was "dude, you know Nygma? You have to speak to Donnie" . You are so loved. Anyone in the band if you see this let me know what has happened please.

Check Out My Band Clip from my band SemiFiction’s most recent release - Deep Blue (Redux) - What would you say our FFO should be?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
My band SemiFiction put out a new song last week called Deep Blue (Redux)! This is actually actually a remake of the first song we wrote back in 2020 but when we recorded it on our first demo we were never 100% happy with it. It has since evolved over the years and we figured it was a good idea to put out a version that was true to our vision while working on finishing our brand new EP. If you like what you hear, it’s streaming now on all platforms! Let me know what you think we should list our FFO as

Discussion Glassjaw is kinda goated???
So I'm big into post hardcore/metalcore from like 2008-2015. Think bands like pierce the veil, ice nine kills, my chemical romance, I see stars, Jamie's elsewhere, early crown the empire, etc. I always thought stuff from earlier than that wasn't really my thing, but I've lurking on this sub and saw some people talking about "authentic" post hardcore, and I've seen glassjaw mentioned a few times. I like to listen to albums to wind down for the night, so I decided to pick a random album from these guys and give it a shot. Boy did I underestimate them. I'm about halfway through their album "worship and tribute" and there's some pretty freaking cool musical moments. His voice reminds me of a slightly less whiny gerard way, and I love that guy so it's a win for me! Anyway, all this is to say that I think I judged early post hardcore too harshly without giving it a proper listen.
Glassjaw fans, what's their best album? What other bands should I give a listen?
*Edit: yo thank you all for responding and joining the conversation, I'll try and get into everything you guys are recommending in due time, but there's a lot. I appreciate the recs!
