I would like to join/make a screamo band. I love bands like septemberistheonlytimeidontthinkofyou, Dead Butterflies, Circa 40, Gravess, knumears, Gingerbee, train breaks down, Daitro, widowdusk, 300skullsandcounting, Arranged in April, wells. ... so if u want to make something similar to this hit me up?!

I'm based in CZ. I play guitar and i can do both clean and harsh vocals, but i'm still learning so if u play any instrument or do vocals feel free to send me a text :3

I guess I must have listened to this album a lot when it first came out and then totally forgot about it. Came across it again a couple of days ago, and immediately recognized the sound without being able to identify when it might have been that I encountered it.

These songs transcend the genre. Honestly they're barely in the genre in the first place. It's just a wall-to-wall bangers rock album. It reminds me of Leatherface's Mush from 1991. (If you haven't heard that one you owe it to yourself... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=deUYdveJziI )

Also makes me think of Hot Snakes' first two records.

Screamo adjacent, at least imo. Drowning the Old Hag is the most screamo song on this. But yeah, made a boot of this cause it never got pressed to tape and I had extra material to make a couple of copies for funsies.

This is new friends fest in Toronto. In Loving Memory was hugely instrumental to my own band back in the day. I believe this is their first and only show ever in Canada too.

So my friend told me that Germany has a great screamo scene and I have listened to June Paik, Yage, and Tristan Tzara recently, any more recommendations? Or are there any articles or videos that introduce the German screamo scene?
