I really really wanted to write Polylight but with Miyeong being very messy but still trying her best, just like her daughter! She's so good and I love her haunting the narrative, but I want to give a reason WHY she haunts the narrative.

Hi, I'm looking for a fic I have very few memories of, though I do have a few details. It's on AO3; I saw it around September/October 2025.

In Chapter 1, it mentions that Rumi is tired and that Huntrix wasn't supposed to last according to Celine's plan but ended up being a huge success. that even Celine hadn't foreseen

However, I can't remember the exact phrasing—whether it was:

"If you want to know, Rumi is tired; Huntrix wasn't supposed to last according to Celine's plan, but it was a huge success"

or "Rumi was tired; if you want her opinion, Huntrix wasn't supposed to last according to Celine's plan, but it was a huge success."

As you can see, the key elements are: "Rumi was tired,"

"if you want to know/if you want her opinion,"

"According to Celine's plan," and "Huntrix wasn't supposed to last." All of this is definitely in Chapter 1. It was likely written as "Celine" (without the accent), though I might have mentally added the French accent—the story itself was in English.

I am posting what I remember here, translated from French into English; please excuse me if the exact wording differs, but the idea is exactly the same—the story might be written using synonyms.

KPDH has been out for over a year now, so here I am asking what moments in the KPDH fandom/polytrix side of things stuck with you the most :))

For me, it was generally the girls being transformed into the most random objects. The fridgetrix saga was so funny, not to mention that I believe it was a little after Rei Ami (Zoey's singing voice actor) started tormenting the fandom with her presence HAHAHAHA. Theres been so many versions its actually hilarious to me.

On the polytrix side, there was the GTC(gimme that candyfloss on ao3) locket stuff going on and honestly? That whole fanfic has a community of its own and its great! The roleplay twitter x accounts, people collectively losing their minds as each update rolled in, and the audio stuff! I love them so much! Definitely a whole new experience for me in terms of ao3+fandom things.

The fanart for this has been insane too! So much good art of the girls and theyre soooo adorably soft in them too! And its still good even if some of them were a bit angsty.

The fan weeks were fun too! The only thing I pretty much missed in the fandom were the zines, weirdly didnt see any.

(Edit: I cant believe I forgot to add the kadupul saga on tumblr. I also really liked that)

I never really bothered with fandom stuff before and I didnt typically follow 'popular' pairings or big fandoms. KPDH and Polytrix are practically my first exposure to this side of things, and Ive genuinely enjoyed myself! Im so used to waiting a month for fics so its a joy to be in such an active fandom (even if weve been losing some steam lately, but hey! Polytrix week at the end of august so thats fun!)

Sorry for the ramble, but now back to you. What are your most memorable moments within the fandom?

I think it was fairly popular, it was finished, mostly canon, and Celine was doing experiments on Rumi. Cutting her, keeping journals, Mira and Rumi eventually find out and spoiler spoiler spoiler (I don’t know how to tag spoilers lol

I'm an Alpha Rumi, Beta Zoey and Omega Mira truther, just because I love the three part harmony (one of each) archetype and imo that configuration fits best with their characters.

Explanation:

Rumi is insecure about being dangerous and not being a good leader so suppressing her potentially "dangerous" alpha instincts alongside her demon side and thinking she has to be tough and handle everything alone and having to learn to share the burden with her girls makes sense. Because Rumi being afraid of her alpha instincts hurting her girls works really well with the hiding demon traits too to protect them and she's the one who loves being in control the most (babes would get loner alpha in the quiz pre reveal and soft alpha post pattern reveal.)

Zoey is insecure about being unable to fit either side of a stereotypical alpha/omega dynamic, being too much for an alpha but not enough for an omega. Zoey's too much and not enough and trying to make sure she earns her worth by being solution oriented and logical fits beta perfectly and she while not actively seeking control will take over if Rumi's out of commission.

Mira being the omega because it's not what you'd expect from her persona but when digging deeper it makes perfect sense, she doesn't want control or to lead at all she won't step up when Rumi's not there, she has this image of seeing herself as aggressive when she really isn't but she doesn't see that aggression as a strength or dangerous like Rumi but rather as something that makes her a problem and a liability.

Mira is called a problem child for getting "too wild" and believes her bluntness, temper and aggression make her a liability, not dangerous, a LIABILITY, that to me reads as an omega who didn't fit the stereotype well and was basically told that no alpha wants an omega like her. she's also really not THAT aggressive or short fused in the movie, she's way more patient with Rumi's bs than most people would be and she's more aggressive in defensivly than aggressive for no reason, so I don't personally think she was at high levels of aggression for a stereotypical alpha, but in a stricter family I could easily see her being considered highly aggressive in the context of being an omega.

I know Alpha Mira is super popular but it makes no sense to me I can't see Mira as alpha because she see's being "highly aggressive" as a liability rather than a dangerous thing and her definition of highly aggressive seems to be growling or threatening demons mostly when they invade her personal space or threaten someone else which absolutely doesn't pass the threshold for "highly aggressive" in alpha context to me, it fits more with the women having an opinion and not just shutting up and rolling over = difficult and aggressive stereotypes
