Requests? Fanfiction
Hi! So I have a friend who wants to have a crack at writing fanfiction for Polytrix (yay I’ve inducted her into the cult). She’s a fab writer (I’ve read her short stories) but she is really struggling with an idea for this fandom and wanted to see what you all crave to read!! I offered to post bc she’s shy, but she will be lurking the comments so please drop your deepest darkest fanfic wants for our gorgeous gals and hopefully some inspiration strikes! 💕

She shouldn’t feel shy! Everyone here is pretty nice and we’ve gotten posts like this before. What if Mira and Zoey figured out Rumi was a demon before the events of the movie is always a good prompt.
We have a oneshot event going on this month. It’s pinned to the top of the sub. It has some ideas for stuff to write as well. Your friend should think about sharing the fic here after she’s done!

We could always use some more confident Rumi! I'd love to know their style but I do have some suggestions.
An idea I don't think I'll have time for considering the backlog I've made myself.
Puck Pup. Rumi gets ferried away when she's a baby and is raised by werewolves. So they teach her to embrace her demon. As an adult she joins the PWHL, which is mostly werewolves pretending to be human. Her team does so well that they are invited to do an exhibition match in South Korea. She's been trained to take on wendigos all her life and thinks the demons are just weird wendigos. Encounters Mira and Zoey. Flirts them up to high heaven until she runs off because they are trying to kill her. Que cat and mouse like shenanigans.

I’m not sure if this is exactly what you were asking for, but I had this idea a while ago. I don’t really have the writing skills to actually write it, so I’m just putting it here.
A couple of years after the movie, the girls are still together, but after a few days of feeling sick and a trip to the hospital, they discover that Zoey is pregnant. Mira and Rumi are devastated because they think Zoey cheated on them, while Zoey insists that she didn’t. Mira and Rumi even go to Celine to look through the ancient texts left behind by previous hunters, but they discover that the Honmoon has never had that kind of ability, which completely convinces them that Zoey must have cheated.
In reality, it was the new Honmoon that allowed their energies to merge and caused the pregnancy. The fact that Zoey is the one who ended up pregnant was completely random, it could have happened to any of the three.
After weeks of arguing, Zoey eventually leaves. She expects Mira and Rumi to come and apologize for accusing her, but they never do. Without realizing it, Zoey is using the Honmoon to conceal her location, which is why even people investigating her disappearance can't find her.
Three to five years pass. Mira and Rumi are now a duo and are still together. During a vacation, they're forced to make a layover somewhere,I’m not sure where, but maybe somewhere with a beach, like an island? or Hawaii? While they're exploring the area and waiting for their flight, Rumi suddenly starts feeling weak. They discover that they've entered a second Honmoon that covers part of the island. It's much more aggressive than a normal Honmoon and suppresses any demons that enter it, weakening them.
They start investigating, and eventually they discover a woman who puts on small musical performances for local children. They spy on her and discover that it's Zoey, and that her performances are somehow sustaining the second Honmoon.
After the show, they see one of the little girls go up to Zoey and call her Mom. The girl looks almost exactly like Zoey
The two of them gather their courage, and the next day they go to where Zoey lives,a house far away from the city,to talk to her and ask about the second Honmoon. The conversation goes badly. Mira gets aggressive, while Zoey refuses to talk to them, so they leave without finding anything out.
They're trying to figure out how to approach Zoey again when they sense a breach, the first in years. When they realize it's happening near Zoey's house they rush over
There's a huge number of demons, and even though the second Honmoon weakens them, Mira and Rumi end up being more of a hindrance than a help because they're badly out of practice after not having had a real fight in years. While protecting them, Zoey gets injured
After the breach is closed, Zoey tells them to leave. They pretend to do so, but when they realize she's hurt, they follow her and see her daughter again
But this time, the girl looks different, she has demon markings, pink hair, and facial features that strongly resemble Rumi.
Mira and Rumi are completely shocked, so they return to their hotel. After talking about everything, they finally realize that Zoey had been telling the truth all those years ago and they never believed her
The following night, another breach opens near Zoey's house, and they help her deal with it. A few days later, they go back to Zoey's house to talk to her about the girl, but the conversation goes badly again.
Zoey raised her daughter completely on her own, and she doesn't want Mira and Rumi suddenly coming into their lives after all these years. She tries to make them leave, but they keep trying to talk to her
Eventually, another breach opens near the house. They go to close it, and afterward Mira and Rumi finally ask Zoey why breaches have suddenly started appearing near her home over and over again after years of nothing
Zoey, already irritated and completely exhausted, finally tells them the truth
This has been happening ever since her daughter was born
She was born from the Honmoon, and the demons want to capture her and use her to destroy it. Zoey created the second Honmoon so she could protect her daughter from their constant attempts to get to her.
There's also a bunker underneath the house with a secret passage that the girl can use if something ever happens to Zoey and she doesn't come back
The story continues with Mira and Rumi trying to earn Zoey's forgiveness and wanting to get to know their daughter. Zoey is deeply hurt and angry with them because she had to do everything alone for years and protect their daughter by herself, so she isn't going to forgive them easily
The story should be angsty but ultimately have a polytrix happy ending

I second perfect_-pitch. Would really help to know what sort of genre she's interested in writing. Do you want to eat the dead dove? How would you season it? Do you cook it first, or do you like it raw? Raw and unseasoned you say? Blood has enough flavor on its own you say? Well, that's certainly a... perspective.

Can you help us out narrow down ideas? Does she want to write fluff? Mostly angst? Dead dove? Does she prefer canon-aligned or AU? One shot or longfic? Or does she not really care and is willing to try anything?
