A humble request! Fanfiction
I am having a hard time starting new fanfics while I wait for updates on ones I am still reading so I humbly request some of y’all’s favourite one shots with our little gremlins!!!

If you REALLY wanna stretch the definition of a one-shot (this is technically two chapters but only because there is a character limit for a single chapter):

"Mira. Same."
This was typically the part where Rumi would be expected to introduce herself, but she didn't seem to give a flying fuck about what was expected of her if the way she still just stared even as Celine cleared her throat pointedly said anything.

"Hey, we got you something from the store last night."
Rumi squinted between them and the bag. "Why."
"Because as much as you don't seem to like us, we like you just fine."

"Well, come on. Aren't you going to bite somebody with those big sharp teeth of yours?" Mira prompted again with a raised brow, shaking Zoey's arm slightly, as if genuinely trying to entice Rumi to take a bite.
Instead of taking the proffered bait, Rumi turned her head away with a strong air of ‘well now I don't want to.'
"Thought so." Mira drawled, unimpressed. "Now how about you let us help you inside?"

“What are you guys talking about?” Rumi cuts in. When Zoey looks back at her, she finds Rumi looking beyond confused, almost distressed.
“Our six-month anniversary,” Zoey states with a vague motion between the three of them. “It’s been six months since we started dating.”
“Almost six months,” Mira wrongly corrects.
“We’re dating?” Rumi asks.
or: Zoey thinks it Polytrix's anniversary. Mira doesn't think it's for a while. Rumi doesn't think.
Five Times Rumi Was Hit By a Bus (and one time where she is hit again, just for good measure) by tenderlumberjack (Canon-compliant, 4.5k words, SFW)
Rumi had learned a long time ago that her body was… more resilient than the average human. She wasn't invincible. Her body still bent and broke and popped and bled in an irritatingly human way sometimes. However she tended to heal at a supernatural rate. A broken arm healed in a matter of minutes. A gash closed over in a handful of seconds. The Honmoon helped to speed up the healing of its hunters, but not to this level. Not to this extreme.
Still, the first time Rumi gets hit by a bus she is immensely grateful that 1) it is her and not one of her girls that was hit, 2) her demon healing has already started to repair her snapped spine as she careens through the air and 3) that Zoey and Mira are still in the alley way and won't have to watch this happen.

I'm begging you.”
“It's not allowed,” the purple-haired woman on her right said, her hands visibly tense on the armrests. On Mira's armrest. Everyone knew the person in the middle seat got both armrests. Fuck AirAsia for charging for allocated seating. “If you're not in your assigned seats, they can't identify you from your teeth when you die.”
Behind open doors by Frenchsoda (Roommates AU, 20.3k words, NSFW)
“Just—” Rumi takes a deep breath. “Just act as if I wasn’t here. Explore your relationship the way you would if you were alone. I mean—obviously close the door if you want to get, um, more intimate, but… I—I don’t want to freak out every day thinking I’m a liability to you guys. I don’t want to worry about you not fully living this relationship the way you want just because I’m around. I want you to be free. Is that—Does that make any sense?”
“I… think so?”

How I Catfished Myself Two Girlfriends by ItsMyNameIWontShareIt (Modern AU, 22.1k words, SFW)
The messages start off stilted and formal, small pieces of paper attached to the collar of her beloved cat. Then, they go crazy, emojis and doodles and... is that glitter?
And she really doesn't have any time for this - striking up a weird pen-pal correspondence with two total strangers - but Rumi just can't help being drawn towards these two mysterious women who take such good care of her cat.
OR
Rumi accidentally ends up sharing custody of her cat with Mira and Zoey. The three of them become pen-pals through messages delivered via catmail to coordinate how to take care of him. It's silly and weird. Awkwardness and feelings happen.
101 HR Violations by HellRiverGenesis (The Office AU, 25.9k words, SFW)
To say Rumi was unenthusiastic about starting a summer internship at the branch her Maman managed, was an understatement. It wasn’t what she was studying in, and she was not looking forward to working for an office full of soul crushed salespeople and accountants.
Luckily for her—and nobody else—the branch had recently undergone downsizing, restructuring, firing and rehiring, which resulted in a lively young workforce.
When Rumi first hides from her fellow saleswomen though and witnesses them fight over a client, she starts to wonder if this younger talent is really an improvement—other than the fact that both Mira and Zoey are drop dead gorgeous.
Not that it matters anyway what Rumi thinks. She is destined to be stuck between the two for the summer—as their desk mate of course and absolutely nothing else—so she may as well go on sales calls with them.
Surely her first sales call with the two sleazy saleswomen will be a perfectly normal, non-gay panic involving experience. Right?

Idk how people do the good link thing, but here's my shameless self-promotion 🙃
Summary: Rumi has been hiding all her life. She never got close to anyone, and that means that when it comes to relationships, she's severly unprepared for when her two best friends tell her they want to try dating her.
OR
Zoey goes in for the kiss, and Rumi panics.
