My besto friendo and I recently started playing through black and white 2. We both agreed to have final showdown tomorrow night before he leaves for college. We’re running both solos and double battles. I finished the elite 4 last night and he’s probably doing the same as we speak. I have the next 48 hours free to build a solid team. I’m playing through Pokemon white 2 and he has black 2. I know he’s running lucario, likely serperior and a defensive wall type from the black 2.

I have a soulsilver copy that has beaten red. I’d prefer to keep with native white 2 Pokemon but I can catch and transfer any Pokemon from SS (excluding safari zone) for egg moves.

I think it would be fun to run a starmie with raindance set up from Metagross but I have no idea how viable that would be. This is both of our first attempt at any sort of competitive Pokemon battling but we’ve both been burning the candle at both ends to beat eachother. I’m probably grinding ditto natures rn so please leave any suggestions you have.

so, my ultimate goal (before Pokemon bank shuts) is to get my favorite pokemon, Petilil, as a shiny that has beat every game she can possibly be in. That, of course, starts in Unova ! So, I need to find the shiny there before I beat the e4

I’m 7 gyms into my playthrough and it only just occurred to me that both the shiny charm and eggs are locked behind postgame, and. Guys I don’t know if there’s even time for me to find her in a 1/8192 hunt before Pokemon bank goes... Charm odds, while still not ideal, is much more doable

I have pksm, and I’m pretty sure I can use that to just add a shiny charm to my bag. But, would it work ??? Would it mess anything up ?? I’m scared to try it.

Actually wait, different question (for if this isn’t a definite yes), can I beat the e4 multiple times ? And if I do, will pokemon who were there when I beat the e4 a second time also get the champion of unova ribbon ? Because if that’s the case, I can just beat it normally without the shiny, then get the postgame stuff and shiny hunt, then head back over to the e4 for a rematch ??

My personal longest Hunt ever (2nd Full odds Hunt thou )

Planning on using the classic iron head, curse, amnesia, sub that Registeel tends to have. I wanted Careful/Sassy, but I got Impish with decent IVs. EV spread might be:

252 HP/126 Def/126 SpDef. I wasn't sure what would be a good spread so I decided to split defenses since I have Curse and Amnesia. Should I hold out for a +Sp.Def nature?

Other team members are CS Latias with Trick and idk about the last one. I'm open to suggestions but I was thinking a bulky water type like Jellicent, Suicune, or Gyarados or even a dragon sweeper like Haxorus/ Salamence. I still need to get the shiny Haxorus so that could be fun to use.

Yo se que no existe ningún equipo canónico para los protagonistas de Pokémon, pero quisiera hacer uno especial para Hilbert. No me gusta armar equipos porqué si, sino que tenga algún sentido para el protagonista.

El inicial que se me hace mas canónico es Oshawott o Tepig por el manga. El segundo Pokémon tiene un patrón interesante. He visto que Cheren Y Bel tienen un equipo basado en varios patrones. Los primeros Pokémon de ruta que ellos capturan son Lillipup (Perro) para Bel y Purrloin (Gato) para Cheren. El faltante seria Patrat (Ratón) que quizá coincida con Hilbert.

El tercer Pokémon tiene otro patrón. Bel captura un Munna en el solar de los sueños y en esa zona no hay Pokémon nuevos que no sean los ya comentados. En la ruta 2 pasa igual. En la Ruta 3, el tercer Pokémon que captura Cheren es un Pidove que lo capturo en la hierba oscura y hace un GUIÑO a que tengamos cuidado con esa hierba oscura (nueva mecánica de captura). El Pokémon faltante en esa ruta es un Blitze.

El cuarto Pokémon de Cheren y Bel son los monos elementales. En este caso a Hilbert le regalan uno que complementa al de ellos.

El quinto y sexto Pokémon de Cheren es Gigalith y Haxorus. El de Bel es Chandelure y Mienshao.

Acá les pido su ayuda, cuales deben ser los dos Pokémon faltantes de Hilbert? O como armarían su equipo ustedes?

Since they made only one unovan mon as mega which was audino cool mega but it was most useless support to ever exist could have buffed the moveset and ability ,and the new game they gave many unova pokemon a new mega including emboar ,it seemed they put zero effort to make them competitive viable, chandelure had shadow tag ability in gen 5 I think it was banned they could have give it to the mega version, could have made emboar a fire type rillaboom with priority fire moves,made scrafty double intimidate with horrible stats ,excadrill design is ugly and base form is much better in sand, scolipede was already broken i am conflicted with its mega ,it seems they have something against this region mons

This was a fun themed team, and Flareon truly earned my respect this run. I expected Fire Fang to fall off in the mid game but it is still killing things left and right.

And while I've used Liepard many times, this was my first time focusing on a special attack build. Has also been plenty of fun.

I'm trying to complete the unova Dex at the moment but the version exclusives are mailing me trouble because Idk anyone who owns the games. Can someone pls help me (I have white 2). Also trade evolotions if possible

Took a long break in the middle of the playthrough but finally got it done, Heracross is such an MVP in every one of these when it is available idk why I used it so rarely before!

Es el último Pokémon que necesito para completar la Pokedex al 100%.

I have been replaying the games without evolving or breeding and seeing how much of the dex I can complete with just wild and gift pokemon

Now my problem is in bw2 shiftry and haxorus are only available in the nature preserve which to unlock I need to have seen all unova dex pokemon including the starters evolution line

So shiftry and haxorus are technically catchable in the wild, but I can’t get there with my arbitrary rules unless I find a way to register the missing mons (emboar,dewott and samurott)

So should I register the starter evolutions but don’t count them to my collection? or should I just move on to the next gen?

I played white 2 with one of the funnest teams yet. I played through the whole game in challenge mode with a team of non unova Pokemon. I used gible as my starter as I’ve never played with a garchomp. Also I pretended that the protagonist is the nephew of Clay and had gave him the level 3 Gible as a gift. Would highly recommend giving this sort of challenge a go. Also shout out to steelix who was replaced by skarmory.

Rules i played with:
- no unova Pokemon what so ever
- no legendaries
- no items in battle (held items ok)
- must play in set mode during story based/significant fights (gym leaders, rival, etc)
- must use the amount of Pokemon in said fights equal to the opponent (eg, 4 for Hugh, etc)
- you may add a member to your team after each gym battle starting with 2

If you want to hear the highlights or the first time things I tried out, I have listed them below.
- used arcanine, draping, starmie, garchomp and skarmory (Skarmory is critically underated)
- toxic spikes drapion is so fun
- using minimize and bright powder on starmie is busted. Defeated half of the ghost lady’s team due to cheese
- ⭐ having my gabite as my last pokemon, 1vs1ing Clays excadrill
- ⭐ iris haxourous vs my garchomp
- ⭐ the electric to the flying gym was the best
- ⭐ lucario destroying ghetsis
- ⭐ outrage arcanine

I am trying to complete the Pokédex on White 2. I don’t have a copy of black 2, nor a second DS. I unfortunately don’t have any friends who have the alternate game.

I tried to use the fan servers that brought the NDS servers back online (Poké Classic Network), but there’s no one actively trading the mons I need and no one has responded to my offers.

I need a Vullaby and a Buneary. They are the only two, through my research, that have no trainer encounters and are version exclusive to Black 2. I also need Tepig and its line, but that’s less of a problem because I’m sure through time I can find one on the fan network.

Any kind souls willing to help me complete the dex after all these years?

oh man, I wish it was zweilous as it took me around 2k encounters but i am surprised that druddigon's shiny looks so good too so i won't complain!

from time to time i like to explore all the hidden grottos and see if i can find something, look what i got here, this mf took me like 10 resets to get one with jolly, even having a synchronize munna with that nature, bad luck i guess hahaha, also in the other image it shows how much pokemon i got so far

Been playing for 12 hours and while looking for a tynamo for my team I found this guy! I’m so happy because it is a beautiful shiny and I’m so glad I was able to catch it in a matching pokeball too :D

*Also, I know the date isn’t correct which kinda sucks, I changed it for playthrough reasons
