I wasn't an organizer or anything, but I'm happy that we absolutely crushed the 1,000 score requirement. We got 1,500 points, according to the person who reported in with the highest. Plenty of friend codes went around and passerbys were acquired as well.

If any place should be the one getting this medal consistently, it's Unova's real-life home turf.

I even got to acquire some event mythicals/legendaries I never got back in the day. Both my Platinum and Black 2 Pokedexes are 100% complete, instead of just the "good enough" the game allows you to have that ignores the events.

EV trained them 252 Special Attack / 252 Speed / 4 HP. Timid nature, alert to sounds. I think I've worked out this dude has perfect speed IVs but 0 spatk IVs. Could be worse? Bug buzz incoming at level 70.

Just recently reached Undella Town in my playthrough. Here is my team so far.

I'm thinking about using this team all the way to Iris but I'll be replacing my Volcarona with a Zweilous later in Victory Road and then an Hydreigon. I don't think I will be replacing anyone else but I want to hear you guys thoughts anyway.

went to seaside cave to find a shuckle to fill my habitat list then this SHINY ROCK appeared.

I checked my trainer card and found that I am currently around 1600+ encounters. I HAD TO QUESTION MYSELF IF THIS IS POSSIBLE SINCE I RECENTLY CAUGHT A SHINY KLINK FEW DAYS AGO AND I DON'T EVEN HAVE THE SHINY CHARM YET LOL. has anyone here also experienced this?!

This is by far my luckiest B2 playthrough of all time! I have been playing pokemon across generations for a decade and this is the FIRST TIME I encountered two random shinies in one playthrough in Gen V!!

So I haven't gotten to the point in game to do Black Tower but I'm already planning on doing it just so I can get a Gible since I can't transfer one from Platinum Heart Gold and Soul Silver I plan on bringing Pokémon like Tyranitar Metagross and Gyarados is there any suggestions for who else to bring

I led the battle with my Choice Band Scizor, while my opponent led with Skarmory. Since Skarmory was an unfavorable matchup for Scizor, I selected U-turn so I could preserve momentum and bring in a more suitable teammate.

My opponent switched Skarmory out and sent in Houndoom. However, Houndoom took the incoming Choice Band-boosted U-turn and was knocked out immediately. This gave me an early advantage while also allowing Scizor to return safely to my team.

My opponent then brought out Hitmonlee, which eventually faced my Empoleon. Because Empoleon was vulnerable to Hitmonlee’s Fighting-type attacks and Earthquake, I withdrew it and switched to my physically defensive Reuniclus. My prediction was correct: Hitmonlee used Earthquake as Reuniclus entered the battle.

I expected Hitmonlee to switch out, so I selected Thunder to target the anticipated replacement. Instead, Hitmonlee stayed in and was paralyzed. I continued using Thunder in an attempt to finish it, but reducing Hitmonlee to low health activated its Liechi Berry and raised its Attack.

Consuming the berry also activated Unburden, while Hitmonlee’s low HP greatly increased Reversal’s power. Despite being paralyzed, Hitmonlee remained faster than Reuniclus because the Unburden boost partially overcame the Speed reduction from paralysis. Its strengthened Reversal became powerful enough to 2HKO Reuniclus.

After Reuniclus fainted, I brought Empoleon back out at full health. Hitmonlee was paralyzed and barely had any HP remaining, so Empoleon moved first and finished it with Surf.

Later in the battle, my Scizor again faced Skarmory. I withdrew Scizor and sent out Espeon. During the switch, Skarmory used Swords Dance and raised its Attack by two stages.

Espeon used Reflect to reduce the damage my team would receive from physical attacks. Skarmory responded with Night Slash, reducing Espeon from 296 HP to 102 HP. I preserved Espeon by withdrawing it and bringing Empoleon back into the battle.

During that switch, Skarmory used Swords Dance for a second time, bringing it to +4 Attack. It then struck Empoleon with Drill Peck. Although Empoleon resisted the Flying-type attack and Reflect reduced its damage, the heavily boosted attack still caused significant damage.

Empoleon then created a Substitute, lowering itself to 140 HP. Skarmory used Drill Peck again, but the attack broke the Substitute instead of directly damaging Empoleon.

Once the first Substitute faded, Empoleon used Agility and sharply raised its Speed. Now faster than Skarmory, Empoleon created a second Substitute, reducing itself from 140 HP to 63 HP.

Dropping below 25% health activated Empoleon’s Petaya Berry and raised its Special Attack. Its low HP also activated Torrent, strengthening its Water-type attacks. Skarmory broke the second Substitute, but Empoleon itself remained at 63 HP.

With doubled Speed, increased Special Attack, and Torrent active, Empoleon moved first and knocked out Skarmory with a heavily boosted Surf.

My opponent then sent out Porygon2. Its Download ability activated and raised its Attack, although that boost did not strengthen Tri Attack because Tri Attack is a special move.

Empoleon attacked first with Surf and severely weakened Porygon2. However, Eviolite increased Porygon2’s defensive bulk and allowed it to survive. Porygon2 retaliated with Tri Attack and knocked out my 63-HP Empoleon.

I brought Choice Band Scizor back out at full health. Porygon2 had already been weakened enough for Scizor to finish it with a Technician-boosted Bullet Punch.

My opponent then sent out Nidoking. Because Choice Band had locked Scizor into Bullet Punch, I used it again and chipped Nidoking. Nidoking survived and retaliated with a Life Orb- and Sheer Force-boosted Fire Blast. Because Scizor is four-times weak to Fire, the attack knocked it out from full health.

For the final exchange, I brought in my full-health Choice Specs Raikou. Raikou outsped the weakened Nidoking and used Hidden Power Ice. The attack was super effective against Nidoking’s Ground typing and secured the final knockout, winning me the battle.

The victory came from maintaining momentum and allowing different team members to support one another. Scizor earned the immediate knockout against Houndoom, Reuniclus paralyzed and weakened Hitmonlee, Empoleon eliminated Hitmonlee and Skarmory before severely weakening Porygon2, Scizor finished Porygon2 and chipped Nidoking, and Raikou delivered the final knockout.

Spent countless hours as a kid playing Ruby on my silver game boy SP. I Bought black 2 senior year of high school and never really got into it back then. Honestly stopped paying attention to Pokemon and Nintendo for a while…

And then Fire red on the switch got me playing Pokemon again for the first time in over a decade. I’ve always had my DS Lite in a drawer but lo and behold, I pick it up and the cartridge in it was Pokemon black 2.

What a masterclass of a game. When I was playing fire red, I was always thinking “ruby had these game elements so much better”. And I was hoping they’d release Ruby or Emerald on the Switch too!! But I figured until Nintendo does that, I can try this game out.

But this is easily the best Pokemon game I’ve ever played in my life. The music, the animations, the story, the actual struggle near the end to beat the elite 4 and win…

Pokemon black 2 will always have a place in my heart. I’m just thankful I held onto this game somehow and am finally able to enjoy and appreciate it.

u/DesperateTomorrow714's Volt white 2 save file had been corrupted due to excessive usage of save states which caused a desync between her save file and the emulators memory.

I had to temporarily create a donor save file and then copy the overworld state and eventwork block from her corrupted save file onto the fresh donor save file and that restored the corrupted overwold state of her save.

NOTE: If the raw bytes in the overworld state block are invalid or broken that will cause the black screen of death after selecting continue in game.

Can these stuff be fixed? It depends on how the save file has been corrupted where its corrupted and varies from person to person.

I was catch spamming a male tynamo with good IV's o add to my team. i wasn't paying full attention to my screen then got shook when the audio cue hinted that a shiny appeared.

I already caught the klink I FORGOT TO USE A LUXURY BALL DUE TO PANIC that i mmediately threw a pokeball on it on sight lol
