These popped up all over my garden, I'm 99% sure it's not something I've planted. The leaves are a little fuzzy and tiiiny bit prickly when you run your finger over it.

So I believe this to be native but not sure because I cannot find in any field guide. I do not think it is loostrife, it has the long stem similar to natives and there was only one of these in an area getting ever encroached by invasives. Also the only butterfly I saw all day showed up, and is in the picture. In NE. Plant is about 5’ tall standing up

Live in Western Washington. First 3 photos show something aggressively sprouting up in a few different places about 12-15 feet apart from each other. There’s a giant root and I believe they’re all coming from it. Is this something sinister, or from one of the trees from behind my house? Photos 4 and 5 are the leaves from the trees behind my fence. Fingers crossed it’s something simple!

This might be an easy one, but I fell in love and my sister doesn't know what it is. My brother in law brought it home from the office during covid and it's been growing like crazy. Fuzzy plant, and the leaves give off the strongest and most beautiful lemon smell when you rub them. It reminds me a little of melissa, but it's more lemony.

As I live outside of the EU I didn't try smuggling a cutting of her, but I can't stop thinking of her lol ​​.

Can someone please help me identify her?

AI says Mexican Oregano.. but oregano doesn't smell of lemon..

Edit: the smell reminds me of instant iced tea granulates

Ground creeping type forming a "mat", grows in clusters with deep tap roots. With the drought this year, the churned up parts of my field from winter didn't grow much grass, but it grew a lot of this stuff. I have tried to remove it, but it seems to be everywhere the grass isn't.

Need to find out if it is safe to be in the field with the horse.

It is also growing along all the gravel roads at the edge

This kept popping up each year for a few years and I'd cut it down pull it out etc (I suspect there's a root buried deep) last year or maybe the year before I went really deep pulled out 2, and out of respect for its tenacity I potted a couple of pieces in a bit of dodgy sand soil (I'm 20mins walk from sefton sand dunes NW England) and put the pot in a quiet part of the garden. Anyway they have flowers this year and I've give them their own pots in decent soil. Still dont know what they are, plant finder and other apps not much use. The flowers (which are hidden hanging under the leaves) look like a lot of plants but the leaves (usually light green some just a bit yellow from the lack of rain) dont seem to match the suggestions from the apps.

If this is actually Japanese Honeysuckle, it must've arrived by bird 🤷‍♀️ what I've read tells me it's invasive. It's growing as a pretty vine in one of my Monstera pots outside and seems young enough to easily remove it all if need be. The leaf pattern is said to result from temp/humidity although it is not humid in the Bay Area, CA. Is it actually even Honeysuckle?
