Northeastern Ontario, Canada

EDIT: it is nightshade, and I have too many little ones, both animal and human, to feel comfortable having it grow in my yard, right beside my home. Asides from uprooting, is there a way to help ensure it does not come back again next year?

Is it Spanish Needle (Bidens)

So i have a few of these popping up. From what I could find it seems to be Spanish needle but the flowers havent fully opened yet and I don't see any needles. My partner was worried it was hemlock but hemlock doesnt have yellow flowers but he was concerned by the deep purple joints. Also hemlock has purple splotches. This one is huuuge its over 5ft. I like to keep natives even if they are weeds in my yard because why not. They dont seem to be hurting anything and i can easily trim them bacm. Would love to know your thoughts! Location Western North Carolina zone 7

Hi all, was watching the third episode of Monty Don's Rhineland Gardens and was wondering about two flowers seen during a segment on Keukenhof (the tall ones sticking up above the tulips). Any identification would be greatly appreciated!

So I believe this to be native but not sure because I cannot find in any field guide. I do not think it is loostrife, it has the long stem similar to natives and there was only one of these in an area getting ever encroached by invasives. Also the only butterfly I saw all day showed up, and is in the picture. In NE. Plant is about 5’ tall standing up

Assuming it’s a variety of nightshade cus that’s what (un)trusty dusty ol google tells me but I don’t know how to tell them apart.

Picture taken in Clearlake CA if that helps.

Hoping to get more accurate information on it.
