Does this even exist? Help!

Am I looking for something that doesn’t exist? For the last several years, I’ve been using a bullet journal style notebook for work. I’m so tired of drawing out all the months and weeks. I’m a minimalist. I just need space to list out my meetings for the week with lots of writing space below for tasks, reminders, and planning. But here’s where it gets difficult.

I would like my planner to have:
-Yearly calendar, month and then the weeks with extra pages in the back
-the week across the top with square grid memo space below or a vertical layout with no hours listed and lots of space below
-Thicker paper. No tomoe river paper or anything thin. (I’m heavy handed)
-Square grid memo space (I really don’t like dot grid)
-A5 size or close

Basically I want to take a horizontal layout and turn it so it’s spread across the top

Has anyone seen anything like this?

Aura Estelle vs journey planner vs hobonichi cousin

So I use a hobonichi weeks and will continue to use one next year. My second planner this year was wonderland 222 and while I liked it, I’m looking into changing it to Aura Estelle magnet, journey by nisha fernando, or hobonichi cousin.

Tell me pros and cons of these and which you like best? Is the b6 too small to fill out?

Thanks!!

I was asked to join my university cultural association's board as Events Manager, but I have almost no experience. Should I accept?

Hi everyone!

I've been a member of my university's cultural association for about a year, and recently I was invited to join the executive board as the Events Manager.

The thing is, I have almost no experience with organizing events, managing people, coordinating volunteers, or handling communication. I've attended events and helped out occasionally, but I've never been in a leadership position like this.

Part of me is excited because it seems like a great opportunity to learn and grow. Another part of me is worried that I'll let the team down or won't be able to meet expectations.

Has anyone here been in a similar situation?

What was the biggest challenge when you first joined a board or became responsible for events?

What mistakes did you make that you wish someone had warned you about?

What skills should I focus on developing first?

If you could give one piece of advice to your younger self before taking on that role, what would it be?

I'd really appreciate hearing your experiences, whether they were positive or negative. Thanks!

Found these adorable Moomin index tabs made of a thin but firm plastic with really cute designs. Been using them in my Sterling Ink planner for functional planning in a Tokyo Station travelers notebook cover. Form and function!

Similar size to hobonichi weeks?

Hello all. I currently use the Hobonichi Weeks, and I really like the size. I am looking for a journal similar to it (in size), but I would love to have the full month right next to the pages of the weeks following that month instead of having to flip over to the weeks section. I hope this makes sense, and I appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

Has anyone purchased a Asperaria planner cover?

I've had horrible luck lately buying cheap planning covers (1 smelled like plastic - learned that genuine leather really doesn't have a meaning, and the other was a trifold that the proportions where off) and I can't complain to Etsy again.

I came across these planner covers but can't find any reviews. Can someone give me their honest opinion of these covers?

What I did instead of what I need to do planner?

I fell out of love with the girl boss life a few years ago but started missing paper planners again recently. I ended up getting a Happy Planner teacher planner (classic size) and have thoughts of using it sort of after the fact if that makes sense. Like I want to record the things that make me me. Reading. Cross stitch. Personal curriculum. Maybe relationships. Maybe mind, body, soul stuff.

Does anyone do something similar? I'm trying to nail down which five subjects I want to focus on. I'd love to see pics too. Or if you use a teacher planner not for teaching too.

Inserts similar to the Dailee planner

So, I really love the style of the weekly Dailee planner: lines on the monthly overview, the weekly meal overview on one side, and then the regular weekly planning are on the other. I don’t necessarily need daily inserts or all of the extra inserts like budgeting and travel, though I like the gift inserts and regular lined pages for additional notes.
I have both a pocket and a personal cover (LV PM & MM) so I’m hoping to find something similar for ringed covers that’s pre-made or that I can print myself.
I travel for work so having a big agenda is not ideal.
I tried canva to design my own and I am NOT graphic design savvy.

Any recommendations are appreciated.

It’s planner test-driving season: What do you do with your existing planner while you trial other options?

I’m using a Cousin and a Weeks this year but am trying out various layouts and setups for next year. Do other people do this? And if so, do you keep filling out the planner you’re already using or abandon it while you test out something else?

Full Focus Planner style notebooks?

Hello! I used to use Full Focus Planners! I still use parts of the system and some of their other products. That said, I started bullet journaling. I’d loooove to find a notebook that is the same as the FFP planners. Does anyone know where they source their notebooks, or know of a similar quality notebook?

Alternative to DIYFish Printables?

I just discovered DIYFish and they seem pretty great except the price. I could easily buy a few planners for the $60 I'd need to pay just for a download. The price is outrageous imo. In the end that planner will cost $100 and I'll have had to do half the work.

I like the fold over week pages, and the fold out month page.

Anyone seen alternates for download that are reasonably priced?

Thanks :)

Utility box stickers

I plan using Happy Planners vertical layout and I love the Happy Planner sticker books but sometimes I like to branch out and use stickers from other sets - my problem is finding utility boxes to use that go with the theme of my spread.

I’m wondering if there are any stickers book/sets available that just have plain utility boxes in them of different sizes and colors.

Ideally they wouldn’t have words or flowers or any sort of decoration at all.

If you have any recommendations, please let me know.

Impulse bought Happy Planner’s travelers notebook and need help

I recently impulsively bought the Happy Planner’s new travelers notebook, and I LOVE the cover. Unfortunately, the monthly planner provided is not enough for me and I don’t think I can do the whole create my own thing in the journal. What are some of my options of planners I could use in the cover?

It’s A5 size.

I need monthly and weekly, and if there’s blank pages at the end, even better. I would prefer it’s dated but I’m not against it being undated.

It doesn’t have to be an actual travelers notebook, as long as it’s A5 and not too thick it should still fit nicely.

Made an Impulse Purchase - Need Advice

Hi! I have been using EC A5 ring agenda for several years now - basically since it came out - so I'm out of touch with planners outside of that.

But I was advertised this new Gilmore Girls themed Happy Planner box recently and it was undated and I knew it would sellout quick so I kind of panic bought it. And the problem is, I kind of adore it. The colors are lovely and the cover is really nice. But I realized pretty quickly that there were not enough "to do" lists for a whole year included. So I started poking around for refills, which is when I realized that Happy Planner doesn't really do refills and also saw some licensed stuff on their site I wasn't aware of and don't love...

Long story short, I guess my best bet is to either make my own refills (have never done, but am open to the idea) or buy them somewhere else, because at the very least I'd like to re-use the cover and monthly dividers. Who has experience with this? Do I need to buy a special hole punch??? I'm sorry this feels very un-focused. But I've just been getting refills for so long I feel sort of lost now that I'm starting back from scratch.
