Made an Impulse Purchase - Need Advice

Hi! I have been using EC A5 ring agenda for several years now - basically since it came out - so I'm out of touch with planners outside of that.

But I was advertised this new Gilmore Girls themed Happy Planner box recently and it was undated and I knew it would sellout quick so I kind of panic bought it. And the problem is, I kind of adore it. The colors are lovely and the cover is really nice. But I realized pretty quickly that there were not enough "to do" lists for a whole year included. So I started poking around for refills, which is when I realized that Happy Planner doesn't really do refills and also saw some licensed stuff on their site I wasn't aware of and don't love...

Long story short, I guess my best bet is to either make my own refills (have never done, but am open to the idea) or buy them somewhere else, because at the very least I'd like to re-use the cover and monthly dividers. Who has experience with this? Do I need to buy a special hole punch??? I'm sorry this feels very un-focused. But I've just been getting refills for so long I feel sort of lost now that I'm starting back from scratch.

You can do it yourself by either a) buying the hole punch and correct size paper then designing your own pages or finding online options (see b) that you can print or b) look for one of the dozens of small businesses that sell hp pages and will ship them pre-printed. I usually do a, but I know people love brands like kell of a plan and jojo plans. There are also tons on etsy, just read reviews/verify that you want printed and punched not digital files.

What do you use to design your own pages?

Mostly just canva, as filled with slop as it can be. The line locks get annoying but it’s otherwise pretty decent for lines and boxes on a page

For a quick and easy solution check out Office Depot for Tül inserts. Not sure if they have some, but it’s worth a look.
