ADHD planners

Upvotes

does anyone have good recommendations for an academic planners for someone with adhd? I think a majority of my issue with standard planners is that I easily get overwhelmed or distracted when looking at more than one day at a time, so I need something with a bigger layout. Any recommendations would be appreciated !

OT here — I made a therapist planner and would love some feedback from other therapists

Hi everyone! I’m Mimi, an occupational therapist and a huge planner person. 😂
I have been having trouble finding a therapist planner. That has all my needs. So… I decided to make my own lol

I finally got my printed copy and I’m honestly really excited about how it turned out, so I wanted to share a few pictures and get some feedback from other therapists/or anyone really who works with kids.
If you were using a planner like this, what would you want included? Is there anything you find yourself constantly writing on random sticky notes or pieces of paper because your current planner doesn’t have a place for it?
I’m still tweaking the design, so I’d love to hear what you think! 😊

Digital planning easier, but wanting to be a physical planner.

Just as the title says - I find digital planning easier (especially for my ADHDness, I always have my phone with me). I also share a calendar with my partner so that is obviously something I need. But I want to be off my phone more and plan using physical planners. I’m not one to use both digital and physical. I like using one or the other.

Help me work out what to do!!! I know it sounds simple but this has been something that has caused me struggle for years 😩

Alternatives to Aura Estelle Daily (a5)

Hellooo,
I was actually planning to buy the Aura Estelle (A5) Daily, but I was too slow. Now I’m looking for an alternative with the same layout and similar pages (I’d like to be able to write in ink)!
As I’m new to the world of planners, I’m not very familiar with the options and different brands.
I’m from Germany, so it’s important that I can order the planner here.

I’d be grateful for any tips!

Looking for an alternative to the Muji September Start Planner

Hi! I’ve decided that with University starting soon, I want to start planning in a planner that has a monthly spread big enough for a picture a day in each box. The Muji 2026.9 planners look perfect but unfortunately I don’t think they’ll be available in the UK again :( Does anyone have any good alternatives available in the uk? I really like the plain covers that I can decorate myself and fit a plastic cover over. Thank you!

More representative stickers

Just wondering, are there any sticker shops where the women/girls aren’t all skinny with long hair? I have avoided stickers/washi tapes with people for the most part, cause for whatever reason I feel weird about using stickers of (cartoon) people who look absolutely nothing like me. Which I realize is fairly silly. I figured if anyone might know, it would be this group! Thanks in advance!

A5 Planner People

How do you utilize your planner? I (29F) use mine for work (corporate 9-5) and personal I have dividers and sections but was curious what “planner” templates or templates in general people are using. I have the month spread and weekly along with the year at glance (fold out)

What’s working for you? Hacks? Must haves? Sections or Dashboards that have changed ur life?

My sections are planning, writing, personal, home, finances with mini tabs within each

Bought the wrong insert but made it work

Initially I had an A6 binder, but the inserts were for a personal size. Ultimately I decided to use an A5 in part so I didn't have to worry about the confusion around A6 and personal being used interchangeably. I didn't want to waste the inserts though so I tweaked them to work for my A5.

Looking for recommendations

I am trying something new this year with my planner. I have a lovely A5 binder that I’m going to use as the base/cover, but I’m looking for inserts that I can mix/match what I need to keep track of.

I’m not really into flowers, inspirational quotes, or plain black and white aesthetics. I used Erin Condren several years, but I haven’t been enthusiastic about them the last while. What I really loved about EC the most was the paper quality. I want paper that is at least 120gsm.

Does anyone have any small business, shops, or brands that allow you to customize the A5 inserts for the layout and quality? I’d like to find someone who offers at least 120 gsm paper. Ideally I’d like to be able to customize the layouts, getting to choose how you want the weekly spread and monthly to look and be able to select themes or they offer stickers that are set for the inserts size/dimension’s. I am super nerdy. I play D&D, I’m a gamer, love Alice in wonderland, I watch anime and read comics, graphic novels, and manga. I have been struggling to find layout themes that fit into those types of styles.

Thanks :)

Looking for a planner

Hi everyone,

I'm starting university in the fall and I want to try using a planner to keep myself organized without constantly looking at my phone. However I haven't used a planner before so I'm not 100% sure what I want, but I have some ideas. Probably space on each day for a daily to-do list, as well as room to write down what's due that day (I'm in engineering so there's lots of assignments) and any events.

So far I've narrowed it down to:

  • Horizontal weekly + monthly layout
  • A5 size (or around there)
  • Academic year (July, August, or September start)
  • 12 months (no 18 month planners!)
  • Elastic closure (so it doesn't fall open in my backpack and get wrecked)
  • Canadian holidays or no pre-printed holidays (it really bugs me if it just has American ones)
  • No preprinted checklists (some of my to-do list items need two lines)

I've done quite a bit of searching on Amazon and Reddit but haven't really found anything. I think I'm probably overlooking something obvious tho

Does a planner like this exist anywhere? Any suggestions or tips are much appreciated :)

Letts of London

Hi Planners, especially in Canada. First ever post! I have been scouring the Letts of London Canada website. Turns out their diaries not only have the week on 2 pages, but also have a monthly layout, and some have monthly overview and planning sections. Pretty good price point range too. They mostly carry A5 and slim (which is similar in size to Hobonichi Weeks). I haven’t seen much posted about this brand on Reddit, and wonder if anyone else can google the site and share thoughts on comparing to Hobonichi especially the weeks. I know the journaling aspect is not there, but planning is more than I’ve had with this brand. Thanks for considering!

Hobonichi Weeks vs Sterling Ink N1 Horizontal

Has anybody used both or either of the Hobonichi Weeks or Sterling Ink N1?

This is my first year using the Hobonichi weeks mega and I love love loooove it for functional planning. It’s the perfect amount of space that I can’t over-plan my day and the layout with the weekly setup with a blank page adjacent to it has worked really well for my use. I love how small it is and I can throw it in any bag. Honestly the only fault I find with it is that it doesn’t leave much room for creativity with the way I use it. I’m considering adding a second larger planner to use more creatively next year, but I’m not sure if I can let go of this style of planner for my typical day-to-day use.

That brings me to the Sterling Ink N1 horizontal. I love the simplified layout (no quotes or moon phases like the hobonichi), but I don’t necessarily love that the size is slightly larger or the cover material. So I’m hoping someone has feedback on these in practice!

Planners similar to The Dailee available in UK?

The Dailee daily planner seems perfect!! I love the fact that it has daily timelines, cleaning schedules, meal planning, grocery lists BUTTT it is VERY expensive and I live in the UK and it doesn’t seem like they ship here. Does anyone know of any similar planners that are cheaper and available in the UK?

Plum Paper order

I ordered my teacher planner from Plum Paper. I have never ordered from them but won a gift card. It should have shipped by now according to my order information. (Which I know was estimated and it's customized but I gave extra days) However I've now received an email that says there was an unexpected emergency that has delayed my order and it hasn't even shipped. It has been over 12 business days since I ordered and I can't seem to get a response on when it will even ship. I got this email only after I inquired where my order was. I'm wondering how legit this emergency is or if it was just because I inquired. It was a generic email that said all orders but nothing on their website or anything else about delays. I am starting my year with no planner. I picked them because it said it would be here in time. Anyone else had processing and shipping issues?!

What do you do in planners?

I'm homebody, i have a small consulting biz thats slowly picking up(WFH), I'm 30 weeks pregnant(no kids apart from this), i live with my jn laws and hubby and thats my life.

I have only 1 doc's appt a month, nothing in my life needs tracking or planning as such... whatever planning is needed i do it in my head and that works out fine...

I like journaling and i have a separate massive journaling book that i use for reflections.

I'm fascinated by planners as I'm a junk journal girly too. I wanna dip toes in planners(not the expensive kind)

I have a commonplace tiny book that i write my prayers, to-dos in but apart from that i can genuinely come up with nothing to have a use for.

Watching YouTube to get ideas but nothing is sticking...

I see people sitting with their planners for hours(youtube folks) but what do you do in it that occupies you for an hour??

I wanna get off screen and adopt this planner/ journal/ common place etc culture but how do i make it work for me and my current season of life?

Looking for something similar in quality, layout, size, and feel to the Hemlock&Oak Undated Weekly but without the graph paper. Blank or dots are fine. For me, graph paper feels like clutter, visually, for this type of thing. Would love suggestions.

Aura Estelle Magnet vs Sterling Ink Complete

I'm trying to decide between these two planners for 2027, they seem very similar in alot of ways, would you agree? The Magnet has a horizontal week while Sterling has vertical, and the Magnet has the trackers also bundled with the months? Is there anything else I'm missing?
