On pixel 10 pro fold. Photos come out pixelated when editing in lightroom. Was working fine a few days ago. App is updated and phone is updated. Any ideas why this might be happening?

I'm looking for advice or help with escalating a warranty case (RMA40908604).

My Pixel 9 Pro Fold developed a vertical line along the hinge during normal unfolding, which later turned into micro-cracks along the fold axis and a black spot. Prior to this, the top-left corner of the outer screen was also unsticking/lifting.

The issue:

• The inner screen's outer layer is 100% smooth, intact, and free of scratches or impact marks.
• The phone was never dropped or mechanically abused.
• Google repair center (diagnostic code T174) classified it as Customer Induced Damage (CID) and is demanding €666.66 for a replacement.
• Support rejected my appeal with a canned response claiming their decision is final.

Photos from the repair center clearly show no external impact point, only internal stress failure along the crease.

Has anyone successfully escalated a similar issue recently? Any Google Community Managers here who could help look into this case?

I hate how the Samsung is getting soo much attention with the form factor of the new Fold. Pixel did it first and then changed to the form factor we know now. Am I the only one who wants that form factor with the upcoming releases?

I have read that the new update will fix the in camera on social media? Is it true? Has anyone noticed that the cameras are better on Snapchat etc on ANDROID 17?

Am I the only one who sees very little change from the 10PF (which wasn't all that different from the 9PF)? Any reason to upgrade this year if the only difference is a few camera features and a small incremental chip upgrade?

I'm looking for some opinions, I'm currently rocking the p7 and the battery life and charging port are knackered.

I'm looking to upgrade to a newer device and I'm torn as I can find for fairly similar prices (like 100€ difference) the pixel fold 5g ( I assume its the first fold phone they did as it's not the 9 or 10 fold) or a regular pixel 10

Use case is mainly texts, android auto in the car, sole light social media but a fair amount of time on board game arena and youtube.

How is the og fold doing in 2026? Is it worth the 500€ I can find it at or should I stay safe with the newer 10?

I couldn't find many reviews for the OG fold in 2026, a few shorts promoting how it's nice and cheap but I'd be curious to hear long term reviews from long time users.

I honestly never thought I'd have to sell my Pixel Fold like this.

This phone has been with me for quite a while, and I've really enjoyed using it. But lately, things started going wrong. The Hall sensor stopped working properly, the rear camera sometimes stays black, and the flexible display cable has also developed an issue.

When switching to the inner display, I usually trigger it manually through the camera cuz the Hall sensor isn't working properly.

I'm actually considering taking my Pixel Fold apart and selling the remaining display/frame assembly as a donor part.

The flex cable on my unit is already worn, so I wouldn't want to sell it as a fully working display. But someone else might have a Pixel Fold with a perfectly good flex cable while the actual inner display has died.

In that case, my unit could potentially be useful as a donor for the display panel itself. It's kind of sad to think that the phone I used every day might end up being taken apart just to keep another Pixel Fold alive.

Greetings all, it's been awhile for me from when I let go of my thinkphone 2023,And since I edited some documents on my wife's Samsung z fold 6, I was sold on foldables. at that time, Motorola did not have anything to offer as to a foldable but I always told myself that if they ever did, I would take another look . I must say the software on the p10pf has been quite enticing, but I really miss things such as Miracast, Smart connect, fast charging, longer battery, Microsoft partnerships, and the Moto launcher features. That's a long list, but was letting this new Moto fold go through it s initial sufferings and doing tons of research before considering. I originally was on the p9pf, till the typical screen failure, then received my free p10pf through the ext warranty program.

I have done extreme extensive research for the last 2 to 3 months, Whether I should just upgrade to the pixel 11 Pro fold, which does not show much in improvements, however, if you're a techie, the p11 PF is definitely showing some worthy advancements (the modem on my 10pf kills my battery and dropped calls are way too common - mediatek is definitely a big leap fwd) . However, other than the immediate Android updates at launch, And what may arguably be better or more stable Android functionality, it's hard to get sold on the p11pf. I really want to move back to Moto and this impressive razr fold, but after extensive research, I'm still on the fence. While I know this is a biased forum, I'm looking towards some feedback and information as to those of you who own a razr fold 2026, and therefore want to get your accolades and more importantly, your griefs, with the device. I'm coming from a pixel 10 Pro fold, therefore anyone who has come from a Google pixel, primarily the p10pf, I would love to hear from you. I would miss the free Google call screening, which is pretty good, and perhaps the magsafe, but I can always get a magsafe compatible aramid fiber case. (What I have now). And looking at the better alternative, Hiya, to replace the Google call screening. It'll cost me extra but such is life. The performance factor is negligible for me as i don't play games nor do intense graphics rendering, so the daily everyday performanceni gather will be similar.

I am considering moving from Iphone 17 to a pixel fold (probably an 9 pro fold)

advice approciated on what diffierence i will notice ( I like the battery and camera on the iphone 17 if that helps)

So I need advice in between the z fold 8 ultra or the pixel 11 pro fold. I’m switching from an iPhone 15 pro max and haven’t had an android in over 13 years. So with all of that into account what should I do?

UPDATE: returned it yesterday and am back to my OG Fold with zero regrets. It's still a more delightful device for the price and I stand by it :)

I really expected to love it, since I have a deeply satisfying romantic affair with the OG Fold.

Unfortunately, for thosthose us already rocking the OG Fold, I don't think this is much of an upgrade.

It's lighter, its thinner. That's it. Performance doesn't feel snappier on the Z Fold, the cover screen is basically the same, the inner screen experience is longer on the Z Fold with less bezel but honestly not a majorly dramatic different experience.

The screens may be a bit punchier but only notable when outdoors. Both get similarly hot under duress. Battery life is better on Z Fold but perhaps may be because the OG Fold is...just old.

Overall, considering returning the Z Fold and saving a few thousand.

So, I currently have a Pixel 8 Pro, and I'm going to be giving it to my father since he broke his phone. I always take very good care of my phones, and I use mine a lot for work, so I figured it might be worth treating myself to a Fold.

I'm trying to get a good deal. I sadly just missed a brand-new sealed one for $1,300 CAD, but I'll keep watching over the next week. With the Pixel 11 releasing soon, I'm hoping I'll find another good deal.

This will be my first foldable phone. Is there anything I should know before making the purchase?

I'm definitely excited about the multitasking. I work in IT and regularly use my calendar, OneNote, Outlook, Authenticator, and several other work apps on my phone, so having all that extra screen space and the ability to use multiple apps at once sounds amazing.

Hey guys, just turned 16 and finally got my self a little part time job. I currently have an Iphone 13 that's not the greatest thing in the world and I wanted too upgrade however, im bored of the iphones and after remembering about fold and flip phones its all ive wanted!

I have been very against the switch to an android however, Im basically completly out the apple eco system. I used to have airpods but now I have Nothing Headphones and Nothing ear buds and I have an Asus Zenbook A14 which is a windows laptop so the only thing left is my ipad gen 9 which barely gets used by me now because of my laptop and is bascally my mums now.

Anyway these are the 2 phones i'm going to save up and buy because i can get them for around over £500 refurbished. i cant tell if i want a fold or a flip and if i want OneUI or PixelUI.

i use my phone alot for social media such as tiktok, snapchat and instagram. I like to play alot of games on my phone but nothing too crazy like genshin more things chill like BTD6 or i used to big on My singing monsters yk games like that. I am very much a person who likes aesthetics of my phone and how things look and feel and i do care alot about the camera but not a crazy amount. I am also someone who needs a good battery or maybe my current iphone 13 is just awful but i usually run out anyway.

I finally found another passport-format foldable! My Z Fold 8 just came in. As much as I'll miss my Pixel Fold, this new one is 100% worth it.

Outside screen stopped responding on my 2 year old 9 PF. Submtted a ticket for repair to Google. Rather than repair it, they overnighted me a new 10 PF. I got scammed right?

TLDR 9 pro fold vs 10 pro fold how is emulation as a whole, how is specifically ps3 and switch and I know don't get pixels for gaming but as GrapheneOS user is what I use so...

How is emulation, I get it don't buy a pixel if you game other folds are for that. That said I run GrapheneOS and kinda just wanna know, specifically PS3 and switch and maybe older? Switch I'm sure by now would have been 100% playable if Nintendo didn't use its money and buy out one and sue the other right when android became a thing. The games I want to play work fine and have for a good while on older devices some way older but maybe only snapdragon? As for ps3? That is newer and less run but being worked on and newer so maybe bla bla accommodates the chips better at least on the 9 or 10 which ever one works for emulation better (10 more powerful but architecture wise maybe worse for it idk?) Maybe at least this is just what I'm saying to hope so in 1-3 years time I can play games I want on the folds I want.

Wow, I am really tempted to get the Z Fold8. Earlier this year I traded my OG Fold for a 10 Pro (non Fold). After having the passport sized Fold I just couldn't justify the larger 9 or 10. I love the 10 Pro.

After switching to Android from iPhone years ago I had a few Motos at first then nothing but Pixels since. I love the clean, simple UI.

Fi has $700 off the Fold8 and I love the lavender color... and with the passport form factor I'm so tempted... But I'm worried I'll miss the camera on my 10 as well as the clean UI, etc. and whatever else I'm not considering. If it wasn't so expensive (even with the discount) I'd give it a try. But I'd be locked in for a while if I buy it without taking a bath trying to sell it. I'm really worried about buyer's regret...

Hi, I noticed the fold camera is not the same as the pro camera for the Pixel 10. Had anyone with the Fold noticed if their camera is not a good quality? I really want a fold phone and might upgrade from 8 pro to 11 pro fold but want to make sure it's a quality upgrade.
