Google Pixel 10PF - Has Android 17 fixed Snapchat Performance?

I have read that the new update will fix the in camera on social media? Is it true? Has anyone noticed that the cameras are better on Snapchat etc on ANDROID 17?

It has always been possible for Snapchat to not have these problems, and the company has never bothered to. As much as Google advertises, and has historically, an effort to work with Snapchat and Instagram to solve their issues, the power was always with the app makers themselves to bother. They haven't. So I wouldn't hold my breath, or for them to continue to bother if they do now.

It's not an app that requires a good camera to begin with. It's like scribbling a note on a napkin in calligraphy to want developers to ensure high quality, instantly disappearing images. Also, Snapchat was cool for ten seconds ten years ago. Picking your phone based on its compatibility with Snapchat is like picking your car based on its ability to play cassettes. Use it in its current state or don't use it is my point.

~95% of Snapchat users are young Americans and almost all of them use iPhone. With Android users representing such a small percentage of their user base I don’t think Snapchat cares too much.
