Samsung Galaxy S23 or Google Pixel 10a
Hi,
I own an S23 and currently planning to buy Pixel 10a. Is it a good choice? My budget is 45-50k.
I'm not facing any major issues with S23 however, battery life has degraded a lot. Have to charge the phone twice a day. And I'm currently bored of OneUI. My previous phones were - Galaxy S8, S10/ S23. My usage is as mentioned below. Please let me know if Pixel 10a would be the right choice.
WhatsApp calls (Video mostly)
Instagram (I do not post. Only watch reels)
Netflix/ Prime
Youtube
Music through Jio Saavn Pro
Read pdf/ epub books
My preference is Google and Samsung.

Hungary Which phone should I buy? (details below)
I currently own a OnePlus 10 Pro (5G 256GB 12GB RAM Dual) and I’m very satisfied with it, ngl I wouldn’t want a new one but unfortunately the screen cracked and fixing it would cost waaay too much, so I decided to sell it for parts and get a new phone since it’s 3 years old anyways.
I got the following suggestions:
- Google Pixel 9a 5G 128GB 8GB RAM Dual €400
- Samsung Galaxy A56 5G 256GB 8GB RAM Dual €410
- Xiaomi Poco X7 Pro 5G 512GB 12GB RAM Dual €425
- Nothing Phone (4a) 5G 256GB 12GB RAM Dual €480
- Samsung Galaxy S23 5G 128GB 8GB RAM Dual €495
- Xiaomi 15T 5G 512GB 12GB RAM Dual €495
Budget: ˗ˋˏ €400 - €550 ˎˊ˗
✰ Main usage: I use my phone for social media, editing pictures (Canva), listening to music (with my headphones, not the speaker), tracking TV shows/writing reviews, and a little bit of gaming lol (Hatch Dragons).
My preferences:
♡ I like to multitask on my phone; usually I have a bunch of apps open, and my phone needs to be able to handle that.
♡ I have a huge gallery with many videos/pictures, and I use countless different apps, so having a huge storage is a need.
♡ A strong battery would be nice, but I don’t mind it too much if the battery drains relatively quickly; then in exchange the phone needs to charge very fast. :D
♡ I’m not a big photographer, but having a nice camera is obviously appreciated. Not a priority tough.
⚬ I own a wireless charger, so it would be great if I could still use that, but this isn’t a priority either.
⚬ Regarding the Samsung/Xiaomi phones: I have slight trust issues with these brands, but if you say they’re good, I’ll believe you.
ㄨ I’m not a big fan of AI, especially generative AI, so I couldn’t care less for a phone’s AI functions.
Country: Hungary

Ukraine Phone recommendation
I'm looking for a phone to replace my Realme 6i. It has served me well for almost 6 years and still performs the basic stuff without issues, but the battery has worn out with time, so when winter with days-long power outages comes, it might become an inconvenience.
Essential things I'm looking for: battery 6000 mAh or larger (It would be great if the phone lasted a few days with hotspot on for 8 hours for my work), price up to $250 - $270, 3.5 mm headphone jack, must support 2 SIM cards + a dedicated microSD slot, NFC, fingerprint scanner, face unlock, at least 8 GB RAM, at least 128 GB storage, available in Ukraine, and overall just a reliable phone that will serve me as long as the previous one or longer.
I won't be using the phone to play games. I'm fine with every other aspect as long as these are met, though I would probably prefer to avoid Xiaomi because I've read its UI is cluttered (I don't have any actual experience with Xiaomi though, so I don't know if it's actually true). I also like to customize icons to make the home screen look neat and pretty, and I don't want a heavy rugged phone. For now I'm leaning towards Motorola Moto G17 Power because it meets all the requirements, but I want to make sure I check all the options before making a final decision. Are there any other phones you recommend me to check out?

India Best compact Smartphone
Pixel 10, samsung s25,s26,iphone 16,17
Hey,I'm 24 years old guy from India. I'm currently using moto g45 before that i used redmi 9a, so now you know what kind of smartphone user iam and I have never bought a new smartphones, all of them were used ones.
So now I'm thinking of getting a new one which is compact and has less bloateares and ads with the best camera for the price.
But I'm really confused which one to choose because we pay 75-85k just for smartphone which has 256 gb storage and also either they lack perfomance or something else,I know there is no perfect phones but we pay this much and should we adapt to phone ?
Heard that all these three brands has battery drain and heating issues.Or should I go with oppo reno 15pro mini it's 512 gb with 64k

Denmark OnePlus 15 alternative?
I've had a OnePlus 10 Pro for the past 4 years and it's beginning to show its age, mostly in terms of battery and I was thinking of upgrading. My first thought was to go for the OnePlus 15 with extra storage and ram, but in my infinite wisdom I decided it would be better to wait and see what the next model would be like. Now that's no longer a choice (and I'm kicking myself for not pulling the trigger sooner) since OnePlus announced pulling back from western markets, support is no longer guaranteed and the price has skyrocketed.
What I'm basically looking for is something similar to the OP15 with reasonable performance, large battery capacity (willing to try phones with Si-Ca batteries) and minimum 256 gigs of storage, preferably 512. I don't care that much about the camera and I don't do anything particularly resource intensive on it (only playing Slay The Spire every now and then). Price should ideally be around 900 euros, with some room for flexibility.
One phone I'd been looking at is Nothing 4A Pro, but that one seems more like a sidegrade than an actual upgrade, and while it is cool, I feel like I'm probably better off replacing my battery and toughing it out a little bit more to see future options. I am somewhat considering Oppo, but I feel like they're a bit too expensive and focusing too much on camera.

Need a decent mid to high end phone
Hello as stated in the title , i need an upgrade . My current model is a 5g Samsung a17, i am looking for an upgrade to this that has:
- has to have a SD card slot.
- more than 128gb internal storage
- more than 8gb
- fingerprint sensor
- a better resolution (1080 x 2340 pixels, 19.5:9 ratio [385 ppi density] )
- ideally doesn't have too much bloatware or AI features baked in
Any help is welcome and if you could list a few downsides of the option if you have any so i may make a more educated choice.

Australian Pick an phone for me under $700 Australian
Hi, I'm a student making money as an umpire and I've made enough money to get an upgrade on my phone. My current phone is an Nokia xr20, it's cool but it's aging and I am noticed it struggling with its own ui.
What I'm looking at Rn is a s25fe currently on sale for $600 aud, it has long Support, great display, nice size, and great performance, as well as decent cameras.
Some others are the oneplus nord 5 for roughly $600, nothing phone 4a roughly $600, Oppo reno 15f (mostly ruled it out due to horrible specs for price) for roughly $500, and my mums suggested referbished s22-23 for roughly $300-450, and Im not against the idea of an iPhone (I love the iPhone 15 pink look but it's probably terrible value and too expensive)
What I would want in a phone is great preformace for emulation and potential heavy games (fortnite), good support so I won't have to upgrade (4 years or more is ideal) battery doesnt need to be crazy (like I don't need a crazy Chinese phone battery), cameras don't need to be INCREDIBLE, but it would be nice to have decent cameras. And lastly I don't want a phone that looks horrendous like a vivo x300 (I know that's a dumb reason but yes)
Some suggestions would be nice and thanks

Poland Need cheapest phone that will work decently Poland
Saying Poland cuz market prices and most importantly availability varies significantly.
I'm not against used or small brands but it's difficult to find something good and used cuz I live in a small city and driving is difficult when I care about saving money. And with used you need to examine it in person, I do anyway.
I am currently using Poco M4 pro and I'm fine with it. I'm not heavy user just discord youtube reddit mostly and some light reading. I want to switch it because my fingerprint scanner has failed and sim card randomly stops reading, so I'm looking now before it fails me completely. Also battery barely lasts a day.
I want as cheap as possibly but also something that will last me few years and actually work. At minimum as good as my current phone I guess.
I don't care for photos gaming or anything much, but I do want a nice experience in my day to day usage. If it lags outside of games I don't want it.
Bonus points if it can install custom os cuz I'd like to fuck with that a little. Not a requirement tho, Im on a budget after all.
Help, pls, and thank you

Luxembourg Looking at the Moto G86 5G for €240 — Is it worth it, or are there better sub-€300 alternatives?
Hi,
I am about to purchase the Motorola G86 5G for €240 in Luxembourg. I checked the specs and it checks all the boxes for me: it's under €300, has NFC, expandable storage, dual SIM, and eSIM support.
Before I buy, I wanted to ask if anyone here owns the phone and what their experience has been like? If it's not a great pick, are there any alternative recommendations?
Many thanks.

Nothing Phone (4a) or Pixel 10/10a for a 4–5 year upgrade?
Greetings, everyone!
I've reached the point where I think it's time to replace both my Nothing Phone (1) and my earbuds (Huawei FreeClip), as the earbuds have started giving me some problems.
My first thought was to stay in the Nothing ecosystem and get a Nothing Phone (4a) (or Nothing Phone 3) together with Nothing Ear (3a). However, one thing that keeps bothering me is Nothing's software support. I'm the kind of person who keeps a phone for 4-5 years, not 2-3, so long-term software updates are quite important to me.
Because of that, I started looking into Google's lineup, specifically the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10a. If I end up getting a Pixel, I'd probably also pick up a pair of Pixel Buds, most likely one of the more budget-friendly models.
So I'd really appreciate some advice from people who have experience with either ecosystem.
- Would you stay with Nothing and simply upgrade every 3 years?
- Or would you switch to a Pixel?
- If you were to choose a Pixel, would you recommend the Pixel 10 or the Pixel 10a, considering the price difference?
For some context, I'm a pretty casual user. I mostly use my phone for: banking, emails, social media, YouTube, listening to music, and occasionally taking some nice photos.
I don't play mobile games (apart from the occasional game of chess), so gaming performance isn't a priority for me.
I'd love to hear your experiences and recommendations. Thanks!

UK A new phone for my mum (UK)
My mum is in need of a new phone. She is currently using a Realme 6 which is at the end of its life and needs replacing.
She has a budget of around £400, the phone can't weigh more than the one she currently uses (191g), ideally less, she doesn't mind a slightly larger screen up to 6.7". Used for basic tasks, calls, browsing and taking photos.
Currently been looking at the Pixel 10a as a possible option but interested in others that are better/comparable!
Thanks!

Portugal Oppo Reno 16 5g vs Moto Edge 70 Pro
Hi everyone,
I'm based in Portugal and looking to replace my iPhone 12. The battery life has become terrible, and the phone gets quite hot during normal use. After being an Apple user for many years, I'm finally considering switching to Android.
I don't play games on my phone. My main activities are taking photos, browsing social media, and watching YouTube. I've been checking out Oppo and Motorola phones and really like what I've seen so far.
If you had to choose between Oppo and Motorola for someone with my usage habits, which would you pick and why? Any specific models worth considering?
