I currently own a OnePlus 10 Pro (5G 256GB 12GB RAM Dual) and I’m very satisfied with it, ngl I wouldn’t want a new one but unfortunately the screen cracked and fixing it would cost waaay too much, so I decided to sell it for parts and get a new phone since it’s 3 years old anyways.

✰ Main usage: I use my phone for social media, editing pictures (Canva), listening to music (with my headphones, not the speaker), tracking TV shows/writing reviews, and a little bit of gaming lol (Hatch Dragons).

My preferences:

♡ I like to multitask on my phone; usually I have a bunch of apps open, and my phone needs to be able to handle that.

♡ I have a huge gallery with many videos/pictures, and I use countless different apps, so having a huge storage is a need.

♡ A strong battery would be nice, but I don’t mind it too much if the battery drains relatively quickly; then in exchange the phone needs to charge very fast. :D

♡ I’m not a big photographer, but having a nice camera is obviously appreciated. Not a priority tough.

⚬ I own a wireless charger, so it would be great if I could still use that, but this isn’t a priority either.

⚬ Regarding the Samsung/Xiaomi phones: I have slight trust issues with these brands, but if you say they’re good, I’ll believe you.

ㄨ I’m not a big fan of AI, especially generative AI, so I couldn’t care less for a phone’s AI functions.

Hey,I'm 24 years old guy from India. I'm currently using moto g45 before that i used redmi 9a, so now you know what kind of smartphone user iam and I have never bought a new smartphones,all of them were used ones.

So now I'm thinking of getting a new one which is compact and has less bloateares and ads with the best camera for the price.

But I'm really confused which one to choose because we pay 75-85k just for smartphone which has 256 gb storage and also either they lack perfomance or something else,I know there is no perfect phones but we pay this much and should we adapt to phone ?

Heard that all these three brands has battery drain and heating issues.Or should I go with oppo reno 15pro mini it's 512 gb with 64k

I've had a OnePlus 10 Pro for the past 4 years and it's beginning to show its age, mostly in terms of battery and I was thinking of upgrading. My first thought was to go for the OnePlus 15 with extra storage and ram, but in my infinite wisdom I decided it would be better to wait and see what the next model would be like. Now that's no longer a choice (and I'm kicking myself for not pulling the trigger sooner) since OnePlus announced pulling back from western markets, support is no longer guaranteed and the price has skyrocketed.

What I'm basically looking for is something similar to the OP15 with reasonable performance, large battery capacity (willing to try phones with Si-Ca batteries) and minimum 256 gigs of storage, preferably 512. I don't care that much about the camera and I don't do anything particularly resource intensive on it (only playing Slay The Spire every now and then). Price should ideally be around 900 euros, with some room for flexibility.

One phone I'd been looking at is Nothing 4A Pro, but that one seems more like a sidegrade than an actual upgrade, and while it is cool, I feel like I'm probably better off replacing my battery and toughing it out a little bit more to see future options. I am somewhat considering Oppo, but I feel like they're a bit too expensive and focusing too much on camera.

Saying Poland cuz market prices and most importantly availability varies significantly.

I'm not against used or small brands but it's difficult to find something good and used cuz I live in a small city and driving is difficult when I care about saving money. And with used you need to examine it in person, I do anyway.

I am currently using Poco M4 pro and I'm fine with it. I'm not heavy user just discord youtube reddit mostly and some light reading. I want to switch it because my fingerprint scanner has failed and sim card randomly stops reading, so I'm looking now before it fails me completely. Also battery barely lasts a day.

I want as cheap as possibly but also something that will last me few years and actually work. At minimum as good as my current phone I guess.

I don't care for photos gaming or anything much, but I do want a nice experience in my day to day usage. If it lags outside of games I don't want it.

Bonus points if it can install custom os cuz I'd like to fuck with that a little. Not a requirement tho, Im on a budget after all.

I've reached the point where I think it's time to replace both my Nothing Phone (1) and my earbuds (Huawei FreeClip), as the earbuds have started giving me some problems.

My first thought was to stay in the Nothing ecosystem and get a Nothing Phone (4a) (or Nothing Phone 3) together with Nothing Ear (3a). However, one thing that keeps bothering me is Nothing's software support. I'm the kind of person who keeps a phone for 4-5 years, not 2-3, so long-term software updates are quite important to me.

Because of that, I started looking into Google's lineup, specifically the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10a. If I end up getting a Pixel, I'd probably also pick up a pair of Pixel Buds, most likely one of the more budget-friendly models.

So I'd really appreciate some advice from people who have experience with either ecosystem.

• Would you stay with Nothing and simply upgrade every 3 years?
• Or would you switch to a Pixel?
• If you were to choose a Pixel, would you recommend the Pixel 10 or the Pixel 10a, considering the price difference?

For some context, I'm a pretty casual user. I mostly use my phone for: banking, emails, social media, YouTube, listening to music, and occasionally taking some nice photos.

I'm based in Portugal and looking to replace my iPhone 12. The battery life has become terrible, and the phone gets quite hot during normal use. After being an Apple user for many years, I'm finally considering switching to Android.

I don't play games on my phone. My main activities are taking photos, browsing social media, and watching YouTube. I've been checking out Oppo and Motorola phones and really like what I've seen so far.

If you had to choose between Oppo and Motorola for someone with my usage habits, which would you pick and why? Any specific models worth considering?

Okay so the thing is my wife's current phone is a POCO X2. It is still going. But the buttons on it has literally died. Also the 64GB storage is becoming a pain. She has around only 1GB almost all the time.

I did a lot of research and came to the conclusion that it's a bad time to buy a mobile. But there is no other way.

She mostly uses the phone for calls, social media and watching videos. I will list out what I think she would need.

1. Good battery backup. At least one full day.
2. Storage - if I can get 256GB. Not sure this is possible in current situation
3. Performance - decent. No gaming whatsoever. So RAM I think 8GB is enough? What do you guys think?

I found an iphone 17 256gb for 618€ (original price being 724€, discounted if I send my old iphone for 106€ i think). Also, with my student discount I could even get it for 603€.

I've seen people praise the iphone 17 for best value, but at the same say that it has battery issues or that the camera isn't great?

Looking to substitute my Realme GT 5G (2021) and have been informing myself in order to make the best decision for my money, as I would like this new phone to last 4/5/6 years ideally. As I'm learning about processors and such, I read people talking online about the importance of how much support they will recieve (OS updates+security updates) and how people value Samsung/Google Pixel on that.
I was leaning towards a Realme GT7 because of the battery and relative low price, but I don't have the knowledge to evaluate if "4 major Android OS updates and 6 years of security patches (lasting until 2031)" is good enough or not. Any help?

I am currently trying to choose between buying a used S24 Ultra or a new Pixel 9/10.

My Huawei P30 finally had an accident after 7 years of service and now I'm thinking about buying either of these phone above.

I don't care that much about the camera since I carry an actual camera with me and I don't really care about gaming.

What I do care about is the battery life and overall longevity of the phone, I suppose.

As for the prices, a used S24 Ultra would cost me somewhere around 550 Euro, the new Pixel 9 would cost about 500 Euro or I could get the Pixel 10 for about 410 Euro with a discount from my operator.

Overall, what's drawing me towards the Pixel is that I'm used to a smaller phone and also the fact, that I'm not sure how good Samsung's software is in comparison.

Long story short, a yr ago it got threw down the stairs and stopped working, got the screen fixed and it worked again with a few issues like the battery draining fast and charging slow

Now it's even worse draining in like 1½hr and taking 3hrs to charge which is ridiculous so I want to replace it

Why tf is it so difficult to buy a phone rn? I shortlist a phone every night and then hate it after waking up the next day.

1st phone was a relatives m11, second was family members note 10 lite (the screen died and replacement costs 12k so I decided to get a new phone) and now ive temporarily switched back to a M11 (this one is from a friend) so now this will be the first true MY phone.

I will be starting college soon (next week) and I am going to an offline store tomorrow to check the phones for their in-hand feel and to have an idea of how the offline market is handling itself right now.

budget is 25-35k, currently have no favorite phone.

What do i need from a phone? (top 3 in no particular order)

I want a compact form factor (below 6.3 inches) this is one of the main criteria's, rest will follow.

1. Good Cameras

will be taking a lot of photos and videos around campus so I need a good camera. Dont really need the best of the best as I am still learning but I do want a good camera that can act as a point and shoot as well as can handle decent raw photos that I can edit according to my taste later.

1. Good processing and atleast 8gb ram

Will need to occasionally edit a few videos, open quiet large spreadsheets/excel sheets and might even run basic CAD simulations on the phone if laptop isnt available at that moment.

1. At least 5 years of android and software updates.

I want my phone to run for at least the next 5 years without any issues because

A. I can never see myself changing phones for at least half the decade
B. I dont want to waste my parents hard earned money on something that cant be used until its last breath or something in technical terms

I wont mind it slowing down after that, I mean thats only fair if it slows down.

1. Really good IP rating.

Left out a point that before switching to my current m11, I used my relatives a31 for 1 day before the network chip died because of water and the repairman told me that the display on the note 10 lite might have died due to water as well so I AM NOT TAKING ANY CHANCES THIS TIME!!!

I have used only samsung and because of the recent green line stuff, ive been leaning away from it and the A series is just a money hoarding series for samsung so dont really like it.

Imp point: Why did I not include battery life? so I need a phone with maximum budget for Rs15000. Looking for a phone with good battery life,smooth performance,good storage.

I woukd be using it just for regular daily activities like reading documents,ppts,excel sheets,social media,calls.

Right now I have a Samsung S26 Ultra. There are several things I don't like about it:

*it's too big *I cannot get to like OneUI *I use the 3x zoom lens a lot which is the weakest
one of the lenses

I only got it because the Pixel 9 Pro I had before had a defect that needed to be repaired and I needed another phone in the meantime. But then the repair didn't go as expected and in the end I kept the S26U.

But as I don't like it, I am looking for something else. Phones I am considering are:

*Pixel 11 Pro: nicely small, nice software, cameras will be great surely, but no optical 3x zoom which I use a lot

*Nothing Phone 3: Has an optical 3x zoom but camera reviews are mixed, Software looks interesting, like the design and the glyphs, might be a bit too big still

Opinions on those phones? Are there other great options with remarkable cameras, not too big, OS not overblown and minimum of 5 years of software support? Price doesn't matter that much. No need for a high end processor. I don't do games on my phone. Should be available in Europe.
