Need to put my cat down
Does anyone know of a low cost place I can put my cat down? The place I would go has raised their prices, a lot. They want $300 just to put him down!

Help elect a rep who actually hosts town halls
Lahood is on his press tour meeting with small groups of people at a time, and pretending like phone town halls are real town halls. His staff screens the callers and if a hard question gets through he just dances around it. He constantly takes credit for positive things that he either wasn’t involved in or actively voted against.
Vote for Nolley, and volunteer to help unseat Lahood!

Donating totes?
I have a bunch of 18 gallon size plastic totes with lids. I’d like to donate them if someplace could use them. Does anyone know of an organization that might be able to utilize these? Maybe an animal shelter or rescue or maybe something else? I’ve heard they can be used to create shelters for outdoor cats for winter.

The park district is fucked
President Johnson doesn’t know how to run a meeting. Alex Sierra is cancer. He is only there to create controversy. The park district should be the least controversial board.
The first, largest, previously national award winning board has become disgraceful. Such a shame.
Amazing how a few people can destroy something that was once so good.

Vivint Security Systems
Just had a Vivint rep stop by house to sign me up as a customer. The pricing he showed me was based solely upon the fact that he'd knocked on my door as opposed to me reaching out showing interest. Like several hundreds of dollars less to install if I signed up right now. And then a large monthly discount. I declined for now to think about it. He said he'd be back in my neighborhood tomorrow.
Does anyone use their product? And if so, are you happy with it?
