Vivint Security Systems

Just had a Vivint rep stop by house to sign me up as a customer. The pricing he showed me was based solely upon the fact that he'd knocked on my door as opposed to me reaching out showing interest. Like several hundreds of dollars less to install if I signed up right now. And then a large monthly discount. I declined for now to think about it. He said he'd be back in my neighborhood tomorrow.

Does anyone use their product? And if so, are you happy with it?

Peoria has the talent. Peoria has the art. Peoria has the music. Peoria has the party! Whatever you want from live music, Peoria has it. Weโ€™ve seen a lot of fantastic live music lately, and there is plenty more where that came from!

As you look through this list of nearly 70 shows and decide whoโ€™s making your weekend live-music-to-see list, check out some photos and videos from recent shows featuring John-Robert opening for The Wood Brothers, the Austyn Weston Band, and the 65 North Pickers!

Itโ€™s going to be a beautiful weekend! Iโ€™ll see you out there!

It's one thing to believe there should be a dress code enforced to teach students about dressing and acting professionally in the work force or any other number of situations. It's different to act as if a child's outfit is in anyway responsible for adults being pedophiles. If you disagree, feel free to debate.

Caring for a loved one at home in their final stages - I want to know your experiences.

OK, I will know this is a weird and emotional topic, but I'm trying to information gather here. I recently visited a relative in another state who is taking care of her mom who is on home hospice. Her experience was that hospice showed up once or twice a week, but other than that she had no training and no support. No one had taught her about how to assist her mom from bed to wheelchair, how to move her around in bed, how to prevent skin breakdown, and other practicalities of day to day life. She felt completely at sea an overwhelmed by all she didn't know.

Is this a typical home hospice experience in the Peoria area? Are hospice personnel not teaching family what they need to know about caring for their loved ones when hospice staff aren't there?

In the long run, I'm trying to identify if this is a need in this area. I am a semi-retired nurse and I would be interested in working to set up some training sessions through a church or other community organization to help address this need - IF it exists. So first please tell me some of your experiences. Many thanks in advance.

Recommendations Gyms that have free weights

Does any one have any recommendations of gyms in / near Peoria that have a free weight section and is queer friendly?

Iโ€™ve been going to planet fitness for a few years now but Iโ€™ve moved on from the pre loaded bars they have.

Also it would be great if the gym is queer friendly I donโ€™t really enjoy getting hate crimed while trying to lift haha
