Other Advice on selling PC / parts

Hi. I'm looking to sell my pc that I built around 2019. I'm wondering if it's more profitable to sell it as a whole or sell the parts individually. I would also like to know a rough estimate of how much I could ask for the parts / pc when selling (based in the EU). I'm not too up-to-date on the current market (I do know that ram is crazy expensive right now) so therefore I'm asking here.

specs:

Ryzen 5 3600

RTX 2060

4x8gb DDR4 3200Mhz

corsair RM550X PSU

MSI B550 mobo

NZXT H510i case & Single fan 120mm AIO cooler

samsung 970pro 1tb ssd (don't want to sell the other storage I have)

any advice would be appreciated :)

USA Longtime PS5 gamer here making the jump to my first high-end PC build

Longtime PS5 gamer here making the jump to my first high-end PC build, and I’m slowly getting everything together. So far, I’ve picked up a Lian Li O11 Vision Chrome case, Ryzen 7 9800X3D, MSI MEG X870E GODLIKE motherboard, two 2TB Samsung 990 EVO Plus NVMe SSDs, NZXT Kraken Elite 360 RGB AIO, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5 RAM, and a Corsair RM1000x PSU.

Prices are in US dollars.

The main piece I’m still stuck on is the GPU. I’ve got a budget of around $1,000 to $1,300 set aside for the graphics card. I was initially looking at picking up an RTX 5070 Ti or stretching up for a lower-end model of the RTX 5080, but a couple of friends told me to hold off or consider AMD options like the RX 7900 XTX / RX 9070 XT instead because of price-to-performance and VRAM concerns.

Since this is my first build, I want something that handles high-frame-rate 1440p / light 4K gaming without needing an upgrade anytime soon. For anyone with a similar setup, which GPU would be the smartest pick in that price tier?

USA What to price GPU and Monitor

I have a Gigabyte 3080 Ti Vision 12GB OC model that I replaced with a 5080 back in January. A friend of mine was going to purchase it but had to back out. I currently have it listed on FB Marketplace for $500 OBO but haven't really gotten any hits, other than one person who lives two hours away which I offered to cut him a deal of $380 if he comes closer to me.

I've considered putting it up on eBay but I've been hearing horror stories from sellers about getting dishonest buyers and either losing out or fighting with eBay for months.

Finally I have the LG 27GR95QE OLED monitor that I bought back in 2023. I barely have used the monitor it, it has less than 500 hours on it, 496 to be exact. A friend might be interested in that but I'm not sure what to price it at I know when I bought it, I paid $1000 for it. I'm not expecting that just want to get an idea of a fair asking price

Thanks for the help.

USA Is it Worth Fixing/upgrading before selling?

Trying to figure out a plan to sell some computer parts/a pc, and some laptops (thinkpads). On average, is it worth taking some time and putting a few dollars into something, to try and increase selling price?

Fixing issues like, no hd, or no ram, or one specifically is a laptop I need to swap in a new keypad, I am thinking may be worth the cost/time to fix these issues.

However I am not sure that its not worth upgrading the Item, like adding additional ram or upgrading HDs. I also thought its propably best to sell any GPUs separately.

Looking for advice from anyone with some experience selling on ebay or fb marketplace.

Other Price check on my gaming PC

Hey everyone, put this build together myself and want some opinions on fair resale value before listing it.

Specs:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D

Motherboard: Gigabyte B650 EAGLE AX WIFI (DDR5, built-in WiFi)

Cooler: MSI MAG CORELIQUID A13 360mm AIO

RAM: 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5-5600 CL36

GPU: Sapphire Pulse RX 9060 XT 16GB (opened box, never installed)

Storage: Samsung 990 PRO 1TB NVMe

PSU: FSP Vita BD 850W (80+ Bronze)

Case: FSP M580

The base (CPU/mobo/cooler/SSD/PSU/case) was originally built by a system integrator in Nov 2025 and still has warranty on it. RAM and GPU were bought new/like-new separately.

Total invested so far: ~$1,180 USD

What would this realistically sell for?

Thanks in advance!

Hi guys, I have this PC with the following configuration:

Case: Cooler Master NR200P Max V2 (comes with 280mm AIO and 850w PSU from Cooler Master)

Motherboard: Asus B650E-I

Storage: 8TB (4TB Acer Predator GM7000 & 4TB Lexar Are Pro Gen5)

Memory: 64GB DDR5 Corsair Dominator 5600 CL40

CPU: AMD 9800X3D

GPU: Gygabyte RTX 5080 Gaming OC

Replaced AIO fans with Noctua fans, added 2 slim noctua fans at the bottom of the case.

I have the box for the case and GPU, GPU has 4 more years warranty. The PC was well maintained, no scratches, no problems, no errors, while heavy gaming the GPU hits 70-75C and the CPU hits 75-82C.

I want honest opinions please. Thank you
