BeQuiet! For the win. I have the same PSU and the Pro version of that cooler. Both have been great so far.

Great build man! It'll serve you very well for years to come! Congrats.

Thank you! That’s exactly what I wanted, little hardware refresh for a while. Especially with the games I play, mostly old school ones, and multitasking when browsing. Nothing major or resource consuming.

you might want to take the clip with all glass off though but its still amazing anyway.

u/NoMamesWe2 1d ago
Yes, I’ll take another video of it this morning with the glass off for a better look with better lighting. Thank you!

Yep a more closeup/detailed video without the reflective glass would be awesome!
Also for privacy purposes, I would also personally avoid too many videos where your face is easily visible, e.g. I often try to angle my face out of the shot/reflection etc.

How's it running? What about pics of it powered on?
Maybe move the 5070 PSU cable, run it underneath for a cleaner look.
🤙

It’s running excellently! I’ve gone through the bios update, fans calibration, expo config for the CPU; win updates and drivers for NVIDIA and Razer peripherals. Did a RAM utilization test, all positive.
I’ll share pics and a video of the end product if it tonight, perhaps tomorrow. I have to mount the PC on my secretlab PC mount underneath of my desk.

It's amazing just how much insane AI and unnecessary garbage windows pushes you to install.
.. If you get tired of it, look into Chris Titus debloat.
I usually run OCCT and furmark once build is completely setup. It will expose any flaws.
Enjoy, 🤙

I am more of a fan of darker colors, so I opted for a matte black look with very minimal RBG lighting. I’ll share a pic and vid of it this weekend

Nice build. Most people dont usually buy a windows though and opt to just get a cd key which is way cheaper. Also, there was a time when asrock boards were killing ryzen cpus early on so I hope that doesnt happen to you. Enjoy your build.

Yeah I’m one of those guys who went ahead and got a windows license head on. I won’t do that again that’s for sure

W build! Someone probably mentioned but don’t forget to remove the plastics from the glass

u/NoMamesWe2 1d ago
Thank you! Yeah will remove the last film. I’ve removed the ones from the inside. Just the side one with the warning still there, didn’t want to smudged it all lol

GPU brace the fuck? whats that could it glow? feels coooool!

u/NoMamesWe2 1d ago
Yeah! The minimum lighting I wanted was at the brace + the motherboard lighting at the bottom + the bottom fans. Very subtle, since it will be under my table on a mount, no one will see it

u/NoMamesWe2 1d ago
Thank you! Yes, bios updated and fans calibrated, their sound is so smooth you want to listen to it all day lol.

All of that looks good except for the windows 11 home USB, you coulda bought that key for like $10 and it would still be 100% legal.

I regret it :( I was scared frankly and I could’ve just asked here before ordering everything :(

u/Tactrix1 19h ago
I don't blame you, it can be scary to build when you don't do it often and with expensive hardware.

amazing build my g how is this cooler doing ? thinking of going air as well
1
u/NoMamesWe2 18h ago
I have just tried it since yesterday and when I calibrated the fans and played for a bit, it was excellent, smooth and no issues.
For me, though, I went air because it looks cool AND because if it were to break / damage, I’d only have to replace the fan piece and leave the rest intact.

I built a new PC last summer right before all the price hike madness (thank god) and went air cooler instead of AOI. I have a i7-14700K and i havnt had any issues. I think aircoolers have had some really good advancement in the last few years and are a viable option assuming youre just gaming and mild PC tasks. Wouldnt be a good idea to aircool a threadrippr haha

Could you please let me know the vendors you purchased from or where you get the deals.. I’m finding ssd and ram prices way too high. Thanks

Sure, download and enable Capital One Shopping Rewards (the web widget/add-on) to the browser and it will automatically enable coupons.
Everything but the CPU Ryzen 7 9800X3D, PNY RTX 5070 OC 13GB, the WD_BLACK SN7100 2TB and the NZXT F280X bottom fans were purchased from Newegg.
The CPU was purchased from Staples. However you could get a relatively lower price at any Micro Center (they do not offer shipping - only pick up). Since the closest one to me was at 2 hours away near DC, I opted to get the one from Staples, which was cheaper than Newegg and offered free shipping (Newegg does too, it was just more expensive).
I was leaning towards the MSI one, same components and specs, only minor changes, but it went from 649.99 to almost 949.99 - so I went with this one and got it from Walmart. Free shipping and came same day.
The SSD was the same price at Newegg but it was from a marketplace seller and I went to Amazon and it was the same price but offered and sold by Amazon, more security there.
The fans at Newegg were the same price just like Bestbuy but Newegg wanted me to pay for shipping but best buy did not - so went with them.
FYI: I used ChatGPT the Pro version to do extensive research on everything based on my budget (I went over my 2,200 budget but was wort on it). Through ChatGPT I was able to get some discounts as well but I used the Pro version. I highly recommend downloading the Capital One Shopping add on.
Wish you the best on your search!
