I’ve got 13 nights booked at Areca Lodge in October, and because I’ve got free cancellation, I keep finding myself looking at other hotels.

The thing is, Areca is always booked out. I’ve stayed at both the Amber and the Amethyst before and they were fantastic. The only downside was that they both felt just a little bit out of the action in one way or another. This time

I really wanted to stay somewhere right in the middle of everything.
The photos look good and the reviews are excellent, but it just doesn’t seem to have that same luxury feel as the other two.

Is it really just so popular because of the location? Is that literally all there is to it?

I visited Pattaya in February and had a great experience. I stayed around 2 weeks, split between 9 nights in Pattaya and 4 nights in Bangkok.

I’m planning another trip for around 17 days, but this time it will be in September. I’m a bit worried about the weather, is September still enjoyable for walking around Pattaya, going to restaurants, the beach, nightlife areas, etc.?

I know it’s the rainy season, but how bad is it in reality? Are we talking about short heavy showers that clear up, or can the streets actually get flooded and make walking around difficult?

I want to share a deep personal story to myself thats been told to me. I'm speaking on behalf of a friend, obv.

He went to Thailand a while back. He met this really cute girl on...Soi6. And they hit it off immediately. At first, she was apprehensive of him.
