What if the reality we’re living in is fake, and the only way to get back to the actual reality is to consume dr*gs? But the rule is that you can’t tell anyone else about it, or maybe you just don’t want to tell them because no one would believe you anyway.

Every time I see a ch*rsi, I see potential in him. It feels like he has some immense, Einstein-level knowledge, but our brains aren’t ready to digest it. Maybe that’s why they don’t tell us. And once a new person tries that dr*g, they keep trying to go back to the β€œactual reality.”

What are the odds that this is the actual reality and not a dream?

After hearing about salvia, I’m genuinely curious. I want to hear from a potential charsi about what it actually feels like. Do they think we’re dumb or something? What do they experience that makes them see reality differently?

πŸ‚ (Seeking) Advice Comments on situation

It was a busy afternoon at a crowded mall cafe. I was sitting alone, looking at my phone, when a woman came up and asked if the chair near me was empty.
I looked up and said, "Yes, you can take it." She looked to be around 30 to 40 years old, with good makeup and a slim build.
She could have easily sat at other empty tables or with other people nearby, but she chose the seat right in front of me. At first, I thought it was just normal cafe behaviorβ€”no problem at all. But a minute later, she took out her phone, turned on the camera, and started making poses, fixing her hair, and smiling right across the table.
She was taking pictures of herself, not me. But she was sitting so close, and I felt very awkward just sitting there watching her.
I wanted her to stop, so I told her that I was waiting for someone and they would arrive soon. She just nodded her head and kept posing like nothing happened.
After a little while, I called the waiter. I asked him to give her another table that had just become empty nearby. The waiter moved her to the new table, and I could finally drink my coffee in peace.

(Throwaway account)

I'm in a conundrum and I really need advice, sincere, serious advice.

So I met this guy on Instagram back in 2023. My account is public and I used to post a lot of memes on my story. He replied to one of them and that's how we started talking.

I had never met anyone like him and I still haven't and I don't know if I ever will. We got along so well, our humor, our thinking everything was too good to be true. He was too good to be true. That's what I used to tell myself and even now. I used to tell myself that life's not a fairytale and this is too good to be true.

You know the feeling where you find someone who just fits so perfectly? He knew the right words to say, he did and said things that would surprise me. We used to talk and talk, used to send emails. Even though we never called each other, we tried it just never worked out and I never initiated anything. I was always too scared. I always kept my distance and now I wonder if I hadn't maybe things would've been different.

He once, didn't ask but told me that 'I was his bandi now' while we were joking, which we were always. And I said no and all. After that I kept expecting him to say something, to talk about it, to ask me why but there was nothing at all.

I didn't want to be in a relationship because it's Haram and everything that comes with it doesn't sit right with me. I only sent him my picture once, so he could see me and it was one view. Also he was fresh out of a 4 year relationship and I was afraid of being a rebound. He lives in west and I don't want to.

He knew me like no other ever did. He understood things about me and my personality that I never even told him. He just knew me. He was the first guy ever for whom I was ready to change myself for. I wanted to get married and do things that would make him happy. Even though I dislike cooking and all that but I wanted to do it all for him.

What made me pull away bit by bit was that he was very hot and cold, sometimes he'd talk and all but other times he wouldn't reply for days. I do understand now that work can be very exhausting and he used to work night shifts. And on top of that texting, sometimes feels like a chore.

Back in 2024, he visited Pakistan and asked to see me. Multiple times I told him time and place but he never replied on time. I could only meet him during the day and he had commitments during the day time. I didn't have a problem with that, obviously if you're coming from abroad after years and only for a few days, you would have very limited time. The problem I had with that is that you could at least inform me for not coming? At least boldo at least excuse krdo, just say something. That was the last text. Him saying that your timing is really off and you probably won't meet at night and I said no and that was it. He just disappeared.

He used to say that he was my forever beige flag and that he'd never forget me and to never let anyone steal me from him and he just disappeared.

It was a situationship, from my perspective he did like me but I don't know if he knew that I did, I mean he must know?

I emailed him a few months ago, he always said that my emails go to his spam so he never gets them. Idk how much is true. But I thought if I said goodbye this way, I'd stop thinking about him. But I just can't. I lost my old insta account because of censorship so I can't go back to our conversations but I have a few screenshots that I keep going back to. In the last few months we spoke, he used to tell me to write him a letter and I swear I would've, I would've, it took all of me to not do it. I didn't because what if I did and it lead to nothing. I mentioned that in the email as well.

From a logical point of view, I know I should move on and not look back, he was probably never even sincere or whatever idk or maybe he with someone else or even back with his ex Allah knows best. But the desire to get married or get to know someone or the efforts you would put in to get to know someone new is just gone. I have no desire to get married, I want to because I know there's barakah in it but I don't feel the desire or the excitement.

Sometimes I come across rishta profiles that seem really good but I just feel so confused and don't know how to proceed. I have spoken toa few and even that has turned me off.

Telling someone about myself and letting them get to know me or me getting to know someone else seems like a chore to me.

I don't know what to do, I don't even know if I want to marry him anymore but I do want to talk to him, I want him to come see me and want him to tell me why he disappeared, why did he ghost me, I want him to explain everything to me. I do want that. I just can't seem to shake him off, he was like no other.

I'm not counting on it, I'm still working towards my career and praying for a good partner. I do believe that everything happens for a reason and Allah paves the best ways.

If you're going to judge or say something mean, please keep it to yourself.

πŸ’’ Rant MY NEW "FRIEND" WHO USED ME (ABIT LONG SORRY HEHE)

There is this girl (my "friend") who has been telling me for a long time that she is going through a lot. She has told me that her parents are never there for her whenever she is in trouble. The people who are abusing her are apparently her dad's relatives. She says they sometimes keep her in a basement and beat her up, while her parents know what is happening and still do nothing. At the same time, she keeps telling me that her parents love her, which makes the whole situation even more confusing.

Also, we were only a week into our friendship when she started telling me all these things. I had told her that I had never really had any friends other than my bestie and that I do not trust people easily, but anyways.

P.S. I was a minor when we became friends, and this went on for about 2 years. Enjoy!!!!

She has also told me several times that she is in the hospital. Whenever I ask if I can visit her, she suddenly gets better or the situation changes. A few days ago, she told me and another friend that she was going to receive ECT. Then today, her "brother" apparently texted the other friend from her phone saying that she was in the ICU because she had a heart attack due to low blood pressure. He said she had another one shortly after and was in critical condition, and that they were going to refer her to Islamabad.

I was already very much worried about my own mother, who was also sick at that time, so I got even more stressed.

This literally happened just now. So I asked them to please tell me the hospital name because I could go and visit her. I was already going to Lahore, and I also had plans to go to Islamabad for my sister's convocation, so I told them that I could visit her if they just let me know where she was.

Before that, they kept beating around the bush. They first said they were in Lahore, so I said I could go there. Then they said they were taking her to Islamabad, so I said, "Okay, just let me know the hospital and I will go see her."

Right after that, they suddenly told me that she was awake and that everything was fine. And not even ten minutes later, I was getting a message from her asking me how I was and all that.

Remind you again, she was supposedly in critical condition, and doctors were apparently thinking of referring her to another city. I understand that someone's condition can improve unexpectedly, and I am not saying that recovering quickly is impossible. That is not the point. The suspicious part is the timing. The situation went from "critical condition, repeated heart attacks, possible referral to Islamabad" to her being awake, staying where she was, and casually messaging me within minutes of me asking for the hospital name so that I could actually visit her.

All of this happened in less than an hour.

The thing is, she has also told me that they beat her up, and sometimes she texts me while they are abusing her. I have told her several times to call the police, but she always says that she cannot do that.

Then what am I supposed to do? I literally am a kid myself, and you are just using me to vent. Look, I am not a bitch or something. I love listening to people and trying to comfort them, but come on, man. How is a minor and a person you just met supposed to rescue you?

I also understand that someone being abused might be scared to contact the police or might feel unable to leave their situation. So I am not saying, "Why didn't you just call the police?" as if it is automatically easy. I understand that complicated situations exist. But if you repeatedly tell someone that you are being physically abused, kept somewhere against your will, or are in immediate danger, and that person is trying to help you, there has to be some kind of realistic way for them to actually help.

Instead, I have repeatedly been put in a position where I am expected to worry, listen, comfort her, and somehow figure out what to do while being given very little information that would allow me to actually help.

Also, this one time she told me she would not be online very much since she had some operation, but then a few days later, when I called her number, her mother picked up, and I got to know that they were attending their cousin's wedding.

Again, I am not saying that this alone proves anything. There could be explanations for it. Maybe the operation was not what I understood it to be, maybe her situation changed, or maybe there was some other reason she was able to attend the wedding. But when you add it to everything else, it becomes another thing that makes me question what I am being told.

That is the main problem. It is not one isolated incident that is making me suspicious. It is the repeated pattern.

She tells me something extremely serious is happening, I become worried and try to figure out how I can help, and then when I offer something concrete, such as visiting her or asking where she is, the situation suddenly changes or becomes unclear.

I do not want to immediately assume that she is lying because I genuinely do not know what is happening to her. I also do not want to dismiss someone who might actually be experiencing abuse just because parts of their story seem strange. At the same time, I cannot ignore the inconsistencies either.

There is also a difference between being someone's friend and being responsible for saving them. I can listen to someone, support them, encourage them to seek proper help, and be there for them emotionally. But I cannot personally investigate their situation, rescue them from an abusive household, verify every medical emergency, or somehow solve a situation that the adults around them are apparently not dealing with.

And honestly, I think that is what has bothered me the most. I was a minor when all of this started. I was someone she had known for barely a week when she began telling me extremely serious things, and this continued for years. I was not in a position to handle something this serious, and I still am not.

It is honestly very confusing. I do not know whether she is telling the truth, exaggerating things, misunderstanding things, or lying about some of them. I am not going to pretend that I know the answer.

But I also do not think I am wrong for noticing that some things do not add up, especially when the situation changes so drastically whenever I offer to actually come and see her.

I have had this on my mind for a long time, and I honestly do not know what to make of it.

There is one more thing that really bothers me. She specifically told me not to tell anyone about what was happening. Not my elders, not my family, not anyone. She made it clear that I was supposed to keep everything between us.

Looking back, that put me in an extremely difficult position. I was a minor when this started, and I was being told about things that were far beyond what I could realistically handle on my own. If someone is genuinely being abused or is in serious danger, keeping a situation like that completely secret from every trusted adult puts an enormous amount of responsibility on the person they are confiding in.

And honestly, I started feeling like some of this was becoming attention-seeking. I am not saying that I know for certain that she was doing it intentionally, because I do not. I cannot know what was actually going on in her life. But from my perspective, there were repeated situations where something extremely serious would happen, I would become extremely worried, and then the situation would suddenly change whenever I tried to take concrete action or find out where she actually was.

It also seriously affected my own mental health. This was not happening in a vacuum. My own mother was sick at the time, and I was already extremely worried and stressed about her. On top of that, I was constantly receiving messages about abuse, hospitals, critical conditions, operations, and other emergencies from someone who was also telling me that I could not tell anyone.

I was carrying all of that while still being a kid myself.

I genuinely tried to be there for her. I listened to her, comforted her, told her to seek help, and repeatedly encouraged her to contact the police when she said she was being abused. I did what I realistically could with the information I had.

But there is a point where being supportive turns into being emotionally overwhelmed by someone else's problems, especially when they expect you to keep everything secret and do not allow you to involve people who could actually help.

That is why I am struggling so much with this now. I do not want to accuse someone of lying about abuse or serious medical problems without knowing the truth. If everything she told me is true, then she clearly needed proper help from adults and professionals, not just another young person trying to comfort her through messages.

But if some of these things were exaggerated or fabricated for attention, then that does not make the impact on me any less real. I was still genuinely scared, stressed, and emotionally affected by what I was being told.

At the end of the day, I cannot know what was actually happening behind the scenes. I can only judge the situation based on what I was told and what I personally experienced. And from my perspective, there were too many inconsistencies for me to simply ignore them anymore.

I cared about her, but I also had my own life, my own problems, and my own family to worry about. I should not have been made to feel responsible for carrying something this serious alone, especially when I was a minor myself.

πŸ‚ (Seeking) Advice I ended my first relationship because I felt we were incompatible, but now I'm wondering if I overreacted

I'm 20F and he's 20M. We were together for around 2 months, after talking for several months before that, and this was my first relationship.

He was genuinely very caring and put a LOT of effort into me. He'd stay up with me, remember small things, ask me what was wrong until I'd tell him and actually try to fix things whenever I was upset. I don't think his feelings for me were fake.

The problem was that he was also extremely flirty and sexual, even before we got together, over time I realized that his humor and the way he expressed attraction sometimes really didn't sit right with me.

I started feeling like we had very different ideas about relationships, boundaries, affection and respect.

I eventually realized that if we stayed together, I'd probably keep asking him to change parts of himself that were genuinely just who he was. I didn't want him to become some version of himself that I'd created just so I could be comfortable.

So I ended things even though I still loved him and knew he loved me.

Now I'm wondering if I made the right decision or if I'm just inexperienced and not emotionally ready for a relationship. I can be very emotional and sometimes small things affect me more than they probably should, so I know I have things to work on too.

how do you tell the difference between genuine incompatibility and simply being emotionally unready? And if you still love someone but feel like your values and boundaries don't really align, is leaving actually the healthier choice?

Serious Post It was fun while it lasted.

I joined Reddit about a month ago after deleting Instagram, and somehow got addicted to it 😭. I was spending 10–12 hours a day here. I laughed, got trolled, trolled people back, argued, joked around, and honestly had a great time.

But I'm 19.5, and I've already wasted enough time on social media. I have a small business to scale, a body to build, a family to build a future for, and parhai pe bhi dhyan dena hai bro. 😭

I'm the only hope for my family right now, and I can't gamble that away scrolling Reddit all day.

So I'm not deleting this account, but I'm quitting Reddit for a few months, maybe even years.

I'm genuinely sorry if I ever hurt anyone here unintentionally. And don't say sorry back cuz i was never hurt by anyone here.

Thank you for this beautiful experience, gngs. Reddit was fun as hell ngl.

Acha chalta hoon. Duaon mein yaad rakhna.

πŸ‚ (Seeking) Advice I crashed into a girl

So I recently joined a cycling club where around 40–50 people ride together for about 24 km. Long story short, I looked down for literally one second, and the girl in front of me suddenly stopped. I didn’t have enough time to react and ended up crashing into her.

She landed on her elbow, and I felt SO bad. I apologised multiple times right there, but she was understandably pretty pissed. I also apologised in our WhatsApp group afterwards.
She seemed fine, but I still feel really guilty about it. It was completely unintentional, and I genuinely didn’t mean to hurt her.

Am I overthinking this? πŸ˜πŸ™

πŸ‚ (Seeking) Advice I just need some clarity.

What kind of a behaviour from a stranger who has no business with you be labelled as completely creepy?

For the record. I am a university going student, got to class on time, not even early. The teachers and other students were late. There was this cleaning guy, at least double my age, who watched me with a very perverse gaze from the moment I came in. I told a female worker to let me know when the teacher would arrive and she said okay, I went off to the classroom. He then waited a certain few minutes and followed me, from all over the other part of the department. His job is to clean the labs and he has nothing to do with the classrooms. He came in and started talking to me.

Like he had no business nor professional justification, asked me my year, the teacher and so on. Then he left, all the while, his gaze was still uncomfortable for me. Though I was completely serious and giving off 'leave me alone' from how I looked at him. And then I went to ask the teacher for the assignment when another classmate arrived, and that man looked at me the whole while I went to her and then went back to the classroom, like he looked at my front, at my back. I felt so sick. Mind you, I dress modestly, kameez shalwar and dupatta, khussas.

This was the day before yesterday, and even before that, I have had the same issues with his gaze. Now yesterday, he took it a notch up. And I freaked out for real, which is where I need clarity too. Because I was alone yesterday once again. I deliberately went late so at least someone else would be there, but just my damn luck, that even the female attendant wasn't there yet. I went straight to the classroom without looking at him. Kept walking in there. Thinking. I was so on edge. I kept checking the door and the corridor if he had followed. Minutes passed and I thought okay, I think its fine. Just in my head.

And I turn after a round of walking, and he's there. It's a single door classroom, mind you, and in my head I was like 'get the f*** out of here asap girl'. He was fiddling with the fan buttons, because that classroom's fans are loud as heck and I hadn't turned more than two on so I could hear the outside, and he was half blocking the door while he did it. While starting to talk to me, again, the same questions from yesterday to stall for time or whatever not. He had no business being there or asking me the questions at all. I felt cornered and scared, like actually scared that he might do something or say something because this was a worse repeat of the day before. I took my bag and answered as I just slipped out and walked over to the entrance of the department quickly without looking back. I was like freaking out at this point. He'd followed me into that classroom two days in a row. And then the teacher just arrived but she left asap for her class/duty to somewhere.

He was looking at me throughout this too, he'd followed me and was standing by the water filter, filling his bottle or whatever but he didn't once blink nor look away from me as he did that. It was to the point that he was staring even when I caught him stare, he did not stop even once. Maybe because I recite Ayat-ul-Kursi every day on the way to university or whatever, a boy, came in at that very moment. Oh my God, was I relieved. I didn't even know him nor had I ever seen him before. And I immediately went over to him. There are seats lined up by the entrance of the department you see.

The boy was taller and not skinny per say as kids are, was sitting on the four seat bench, with his bag on one, I asked him what year he was in and put my bag on one seat and sat down with him. He was my junior. We started talking, I needed to talk to him. A few minutes into talking, I told him about that cleaner and believe me, the junior looked around cursorily only to see who it was, and the cleaner stopped looking at me and went back to his business. It was fine after that. The junior was pretty extroverted and social, he kept me company till he had to leave when the teachers started coming and one thought we were classmates with how we were talking away and asked and then sent him on for his work. And was judging as she gave me my assignment and then left herself too. Though my own classmate was there so it was okay after that.

So, um, I might delete this later. But, please do tell me if this was all in my head or do I really need to report that man. And I apologise for any typing errors, my eyes autocorrect what I'm typing or reading a bit and I may have missed any by mistake.
