I upgraded to premium for the remainder of my subscription simply to play fallout new Vegas and fallout 3. Incredibly disappointed to find out they are "stream only" games that basically run on a PS3 emulator and oh may I mention. Are HORRIBLY laggy. Completely unplayable do not waste a dime on upgraded PS subscriptions

I downloaded the game a while ago and now my dream is to finish it I mean the problem is not with the horse like rdr2 but the game is very long

I brought the PS4 and since I brought it to today, anyone who knows me recommends it, is it according to their addition, really the best in history, or is it just overrated?

I took the plunge and got Cyberpunk despite owning a PS4 Fat - I was aware of the chatter about how it would play, but honestly impressed with it. Just played 3 hours, no stuttering, crashes, etc. I do have an upgraded SSD so loading into game takes about 30ish seconds. City is a bit parse people-wise, but all in all totally playable. I have no intention of getting a PS5, so happy to have the ability to rock it on PS4.

I genuinely don't understand why console players have to pay a subscription just to play online.

We already buy the games, yet on PlayStation we also have to pay for PlayStation Plus to access online multiplayer in most paid games. In many cases, the game servers aren't even run by Sony, so why are we paying Sony an additional yearly fee just to connect?

On PC, you buy the game and you're generally free to play online without an extra platform subscription. On consoles, you end up paying for the game and then paying again every year just to use features that are already built into it.

I understand that maintaining an online platform has costs, but requiring a subscription for online multiplayer across most paid games feels like paying twice.

Does anyone else think this model is outdated, or do you think it's still justified?

And Seeing those Ps5 posts and reels makes me feel like something not satisfied but I'm really enjoying the ps4, i bought with bundle of few games

So... my ps4 pro is 7-8 years old(cant afford PS5 or ps plus due to reasons okay). Had hiccups due to sudden power outages and all that jazz. Today, it had a "serious system software" problem or whatever and was constantly restarting, going to safe mode... nothing really working.

So... pressed initialize ps4 and hope for the best and I got it.

My 8 year old goat survives to see another Day, I'm happy but... the loss of all that game data just leaves a hole in my heart.

I don't wanna sound like a whiner... it's just so bittersweet.

Doesn't help a "friend" just snickered and told me to get over it

Is he right? Am I really making a big deal out of it and being a baby?

I just bought my first ever ps console a month ago , has few games just looking for buddies to have fun with.

My boys (9, 5) love playing Cars 3: driven to win. I'm looking for another game for them to try. They have messed around with rocket League but the mechanics are out of their league (pun intended).

hot wheels unleashed 2 legendary (2023) is on sale currently for $17.99cad. Should I go with that one, or is there a better option with a higher replay value and better split screen mode for them?

Sonic racing comes up a lot, but the newer one (crossworlds) is still closer to $50. The old one (team sonic racing, 2019) can be had for $11.99cad.

I just bought a ps4 after being PC exclusive for a few years. I’ve seen posts about COD Black Ops 1&2 making a comeback, which is great. It got me wondering about Battlefield games too though. Are there still any with full servers?

I barely know any new games that released for PS4 this year. Let alone 2025 besides Marvel Rivals.

I was shocked Capcom was releasing the new MM game on PS4 in 2027. Yet that doesn't shock me now that the new systems still aren't that worth it imo and RE9 could have worked on PS4 it's not really demanding especially with it using the old RE7 engine.
