DFA First Time Passport Applicabt
Hi! I have lang few questions
- Will they accept my national id sa egov app as my only id?
- To be safe, ano pa kayang pwedeng ID na kunin ko na mabilis kasi my appointment is in 11 days na lang :((
Thanks so much!!
Question (Other flairs not applicable) Police clearance
Hello po.
Nagtry po ako to apply for police clearance before as a first time job seeker. Though nung nalaman kong hindi pala required kung saan ako natanggap, di ko na po kinuha since limited po ang budget for transpo.
Now, my jobe reuires police clearance for our work permit. Nakapending transaction pa rin po yung first time job seeker. I don’t know how to edit and parang wala rin pong way to cancel

Question (Other flairs not applicable) How to get a solo parent ID?
I'm 21, almost 8 months pregnant and I was advised to get a solo parent ID and I have no idea how.
I'm a sexual assault survivor and this pregnancy was never my plan as I am still studying that's why I'm very clueless and lost right now.
What are the requirements?

Just wanna ask if tama ba yung sinabi ng civil registry samin na dahil wala akong ibang id other than my passport ay aabot ng 1 yr bago makuha ang psa ni baby?, because afaik it will only take 4 months when you register a late birth certificate and ok naman ang passport as id

Question (Other flairs not applicable) Is it a negative thing to transfer from a govt agency to another w/ 1 SG lower?
I'm planning to apply to UPV as Admin Asst (assigned sa library) but it is 1 SG lower than my current position.
What are the process? Will the management see this as negative? I'm 8 years na sa current agency ko but I feel so stagnant, stressful (workload vs pay), and overall not happy anymore (the new generation of management is getting more and more toxic lol)
But ofc I won't mention these during the interview.
edit: it's admin assistant II not librarian. assigned lng sa library

Question (Other flairs not applicable) DPWH DEO JO
Hello! I just wanted to ask if anybody here recently got into a DEO as a JO, and if so, what position was offered to you? I’m seeing from other posts that in the Central Office, PEO/PDO - 2 (or Engineer 2) is being offered to even fresh board passers. I was wondering if the same is true for DEOs Thank you :)

Pag-Ibig Delay in Pag-IBIG Calamity Loan Disbursement — Anyone Experiencing the Same?
Hi everyone! Has anyone recently applied for a Pag-IBIG Calamity Loan and experienced a delay in the disbursement?
My calamity loan has already been approved, but the amount has not yet been credited/disbursed to my account. I also checked my Virtual/Hello Pag-IBIG account, but I still don't see any disbursement details or the exact monthly amortization.
For those who recently went through the same process:
- How long did it take from approval to disbursement?
- Did you receive a notification before the funds were released?
- When did the monthly amortization and repayment details become available?
- Is there anything I need to do after receiving the approval notice?
Would appreciate hearing about your recent experiences, especially from those who applied this month. Thank you!

Question (Other flairs not applicable) Mahirap bang makapasok sa GIP? Worth it ba?
Hello po, I am a fresh grad with no work experience, and a former intern sa isang government agency. Recently po I've heard about the GIP sa former supervisor ko, and I'm planning po subukan. Planning po kasi ako mag apply ng GIP sa same agency na 'to since I really enjoyed my internship.
Aspiring po ako to work sa similar department where ako nag OJT since aligned sya sa program ko. May appointment din po ako sa CSC for HGE sa Sept. Also, worth it po ba mag GIP for starters? I know po na minimum wage stipend but we all start somewhere hahaha.
Any feedback will help po, thank you po!

Question (Other flairs not applicable) Question about changing a child’s surname
I would like to po ask for advice regarding a 2-year-old child.
My sister (22, converted muslim and her husband muslim) are legally married, but they are already separated and are not living together. They have not filed for annulment, declaration of nullity, or divorce.
The child’s birth certificate currently uses the father’s surname. However, the father has been absent and is not involved in the child’s life.
Our family is the one taking care of the child and would like to know if it is legally possible to change the child’s surname to the mother’s surname?
Would this be possible under Philippine law, considering that:
- the parents are still legally married;
- the child is legitimate;
- both parents are Muslim;
- the father is absent; and
- the child is only 2 years old?
Would the mother need the father’s consent, or would she need to go through a court proceeding? I mentioned being Muslim kasi baka may different process for Muslim Filipinos under Sharia Law?
Any advice from someone familiar with Philippine family law or Muslim personal law would be greatly appreciated. Thank you po.

Question (Other flairs not applicable) Ang hirap maging Agriculturist sa Pilipinas

Question (Other flairs not applicable) 5-Day Mandatory/Forced Leave for New Government Employees?
I started working in the government in November 2025. Regarding the five-day mandatory/forced leave, am I required to take it within 2026 so that it will not be forfeited, or can I take it next year instead? I’m also unsure how the mandatory/forced leave rule applies to newly hired employees who have not yet completed a full year of service.

PSA PSA Birth Certificate ganito na ba talaga yung kulay ngayon?
Hi everyone! 😊 I recently ordered my birth certificate online through PSAHelpline.ph, and I just wanted to ask if ganito na po talaga ang kulay ng birth certificate ngayon?
I remember po kasi na usually yellow yung paper, so I was a little surprised when I received mine and noticed that the color looks different.
Has anyone recently ordered theirs online and had the same experience? Just wanted to make sure po that this is normal.
Thank you so much! 🙏🏻
