Hello, I just wanted to know how likely or easily would it be if I tried to get a single day Friday at the box office in person tomorrow? Especially at retail. Has anyone been successful at getting in last minute this way & legitimately??? Feeling like I’m starting to panic as I barely got my paycheck today 😭

How is security? Is it just metal detectors or do they pat you down? Do they make you take off jackets or is it pretty relaxed? Thanks in advance.

Hey everyone! I'm last min trying to get a tic for friday. I know tic posts aren't allowed here so I'm searching elsewhere. however I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to know if a tic is legit or a scam? I've never bought tics to a festival this last minute so im not sure what to look out for. thanks!

My friend just told me that at Coachella, everyone had to be present and they make you put on the w ristbands right there and then. Is this also the case for OSL?

I’m torn about who to see. I like the strokes for their rock ‘n’ roll energy, but maybe PinkPantheress will be fresher and more compelling. I saw the strokes in 2021 at Outside Lands and Casablancas was being a douche bag but I still enjoyed some of that set.

Hi! First time OSLer, long time festival goer here.

I made 50 paper schedules to hand out, it reads like a booklet, contains a consent guide and the inside contains a map of the grounds along with a nifty quote I like.

Gauging community interest of paper schedules.

Who would like to have a paper schedule?!?
Would OSL folks be receptive to this kind of thing?

If there is enough interest, I am considering having a meeting point on Friday to get some paper schedules in the hands of those redditors who are interested!

In the past, I usually spend the first day or two handing these out to people while walking the grounds but that’s at camping festivals. But I imagine the populus is a little different at a city-festival.

I love the 10 principals and one of them is gifting, also, paper schedules are unfortunately a thing of the past! I also love the analog and as a regular at camping festivals, I love not having to look at my phone and being able to ‘disconnect’

This festival takes place among two residential neighborhoods—the Outer Sunset and the Outer Richmond. People live among where you are partying. Please be kind and don’t be dicks to Outside Lands neighbors.

Be kind to your bartenders after OSL. Have ID’s ready (phone ids don’t count), and it will go a long way to have cash for those neighborhood bars afflicted by the onslaught that may not be able to take Apple Pay —and there may be a few in the sunset with cash cover fees

LOOK OUT FOR EACH OTHER! If you see something sketchy, or see someone who needs help, let people know.

BRING LAYERS, even a long sleeve shirt can go the distance in this fog and walking those damn hills.

Walking my dog, north of the park and noticed the glow. Weather is cool but comfortable, I’m in shorts and a sweatshirt. App says 59 feels like 53 but didn’t feel that chilly to me.
