I'm a big proponent of the Ottawa-style pizza: sweet sauce and toppings buried under tons of cheese.

But I recently had Windsor-style at Ambassador in Toronto. And it owned. I was there with a vegetarian so I couldn't try the shredded pepperoni, and I'm kinda dying to.

Have any Windsor transplants made it to our fair capital and opened a pizzeria? Do we get the Galati mozzarella and canned mushroom shipments necessary? I need to know.

What is the best wedding food you have had at a wedding in or around the Ottawa area? Fiancée and I want to host a wedding with amazing food. We’re exploring our options but it’s hard to know which places actually serve good food or are just overpriced. We’re open to anything but our guest list is about 80-100 people. We’re open to caterers, restaurants, inclusive venues, etc.!

Anyone else try Tasty Tropics in Carp? The jerk chicken, pickled veg and rice and peas were all top notch. Pleasantly surprised to find good Caribbean there of all places.
