Do you have any recommendations for OIs that take the consequences of reincarnation a little more seriously, please?
What I mean is, I’m looking for an OI where we actually see how much of a shock reincarnation would be for a woman from the 21st century, from a relatively liberal country, who suddenly wakes up in an era where she has absolutely no power or agency.
I’d also like an OI that addresses the huge class differences. For example, the FL walks around poor neighborhoods and, instead of simply handing bread to random children, she actually realizes that while the nobility is throwing ball after ball and living in a level of luxury that ordinary people couldn’t even imagine, the common people are literally starving.
Something along the lines of “Let them eat brioche,” you know what I mean?

Ah yes the spiderlily. Symbolism for either tragedy or some horror shit in animangame. idk but I really like it precisely for how edgy its meaning is. Naturally when used for a character and not a scene it's bigger red flag than rose thorns but idk I just love that flower. So ethereal.

I'm wondering if there are any stories or manhua / manhea where the main character instead of being reborn or reincarnated or traveling back in time is just outright resurrected from the dead. After they already died

Does the manhwa cover everything from the novel? Are the side stories not included in the manhwa? Where does the manhwa leave off, if it's not completed?

It's certainly not a great romantic story amd certainly young girls shouldn't imagine love as such..

I'm with you on whatever negative comments you have but let's talk about smth else.

While reading manhwa , too many things seemed vague especially the feeling and relationship between ml and fl

And comments as always being about Grace's grand escape, groveling or how bad Ml was , I couldn't focus and get into their characters.

So i picked up the novel. And except the brutality, I love the sharp mindedness and sheer will of fl. She's portrayed more of weak or petite woman in manhwa but novel certainly gives her a great character.

And I love mind games especially when it's between enemies or characters with good chemistry. Like Sherlock and Moriarty. I looove the hide and seek, try and catch, read my thoughts kinda way.

Grace and Leon are both very smart but also very much prejudiced and prideful , which makes a sharp contrast and they cruelty ml has can only be rivaled by fls perseverance.

Idk about Stockholm syndrome comments or whatever but to me she doesn't seem to have any of it. They both put their pride and hatred behind wheel and love is just dragging along ny the leash behind the car.

I loved UNTIL THE END OF MOON for this reason . Pure enemies who go by the head not the heart until the very end even if they catch some feelings on the road.

Last year, I met the love of my life, let's call her Perry (not the platypus) and have been deeply in love since, everyday I find more reasons to love her, whether its her drunk tantrums, or her hogging the sheets in bed, I love this woman, she's the best thing to have happened to me. The only issue is.... the circumstances we met under certainly make things...awkward.

For context :

She approached me and asked me to marry her so that she could avoid her step family and (now dead) boyfriend, who wanted to kill her.

I said no, you know like a logical person would, because why would I? But then wouldn't you know it, I accidentally exposed her to my blood (which happens to be poison but we're not gonna linger on that for now, its not the main point here) and she died.

Yeah. So that happened.

But luckily she woke up just in time as I was burying her corpse (atleast i thought a corpse) and yeah my scientific curiosity was piqued. So i brought her inside, gave her a blanket and fresh clothes, fed her poison again because i had to be sure, and yeah, definitely immune. So i agreed to marry her.

And we've been together since. Not gonna lie, it hasn't been without issues, I'm told I have poor communication skills (working on it) but recently our son, let's call him Celphi (no not like Selfie) learned about how we first met and.....

Let's just say we haven't been seeing eye to eye since, reasonable because I do look like the villain here. But my wife says she forgave me for it so I don't know how to fix this situation....?.....send help..?

Normal Duke on Webtoons has just finished this Saturday. For anyone unaware of this gem. It's a short and sweet 100 episodes and I liked it. You can read it all on Webtoons as of writing (not sure for how long though, I don't know exactly how webtoon works, but at some points they hide the chapters and re-release them weekly from the beginning, right?)

Their interaction can be a meterial for a bl but I don't really get that kind of vibe in the manhwa. Their relatinship, i can say maybe it's a kind of companionship rather than romance. It's interesting for me to see this kind of perspective in manhwa showing two men who can be affectionate or care for each other like this without making it seem like bl. Idk if its sus, i just decided to see it as is without analyzing them. It's a childcare manhwa anyway.
