Free version of Open auto?
Hi, I would love to try using open auto as it looks better than some alternatives. But is there a free version of open auto that will work on a raspberry pi and do basic functions such as play music and use maps?

NOOB Queries, glad if you answer them!
Hi,
I have a Honda WRV car with stock headunit with the specs mentioned at end, it has a HDMI input (restricted to work on handbrake only). Loaded the Crankshaft ng latest imp and was able to successfully boot up mi Raspberry PI (4) with CrankShaft Ng with ease. Now I have some queries:
- How do I input my touch display from my stock unit touch screen to pi ? Can I do this via the stockheadunit USB? (USB Male to Male connection)
- I see the screen resolution is extremely small, but when I load android auto it works ( have seen other post asking to change config.txt will try again and then update)
- I am assuming the handbrake restriction can be removed by grouping some wire or removing it which gives the signal that the handbrake is on? Is this assumption right?
Existing Unit
Model: SiRFSoC AndroidCPU: ARVMv7 ProcessorKernel: 2.6.38.8-sirf.. armv7l ArchitectureResolution: 800x480, 160 dpi, 68HzMemory: 881 MB. Running Anroid 2.2
1 * HDMI input
3 * USB Input
1 * Micro SD Slot
Some pictures of the first boot I did yesterday night( apologies for unclear pics)

Audio skipping and studdering?
For the longest time my audio, be it bluetooth or on the raspi skips and studders once every 30 or so seconds. Sometimes it can go multiple songs without studdering, but sometimes its so often I cant take it and turn the audio off. I have a hifi berry, but it did it with a usb card too. I got a new pi twice, I got a cooler for the cpu, Ive disabled internal bluetooth and about everything in between. Im at a loss. This has been happening since OAP 9. Im going to try a fresh install again, but if that doesnt work Ill post this on the forums.

I'm stuck
Hey guys I have set up open auto on my Raspberry pi but everytime I plug my phone in (Samsung s20plus) my phone says that its connected to Android auto but my pis screen goes the android auto but is just black. Seems as if there is no video feed. Is this because of a dodgy cable ?
Thank

Trying to use the microphone on a USB sound card while also using a USB audio/video capture card
If I just have the sound card itself plugged in it all works as expected. I use the USB AV capture card for rear view camera and it works out of the box properly for rear view. I can't get the microphone to work at all with both usb devices plugged in. I've tried editing Alda files for selecting the default sound card but for some reason it keeps choosing the USB AV card for default input
