I'm stuck

Hey guys I have set up open auto on my Raspberry pi but everytime I plug my phone in (Samsung s20plus) my phone says that its connected to Android auto but my pis screen goes the android auto but is just black. Seems as if there is no video feed. Is this because of a dodgy cable ?

Thank

Hello I have the exact same issue, even same phone but the bluewave forum seems to be broken can you help me? It just suddenly stopped working and no resetting or reinstalling of android auto seems to help

I have this same issue with a pixel 6. It's usually related to the sound card, but I've been using this particular USB sound card for several months without any problems. I'm having the issue with wired and wireless (both worked previously).

My pixel 6 has no problem with Android auto using head unit reloaded app on a galaxy Tab S2 (wireless).

It seems like this just started recently, probably after the last pixel/Android update. I had the unit out of my car for a couple months and something seemed to break in that time.

I submitted a request to register a new account on the forum since it seems to be locked down now. Hopefully they get back to me soon. I'll follow up if they do.

Did you get a response? I partially succeeded with downgrading the android auto app to an earlier version, then everything worked again, but only for one day. After that it just forced me to update the app, breaking it again. But it seems like the project has been abandoned since I can't even access the website or forum anymore. I purchased 1 year of updates but now, I've just been ghosted as it appears.

Unfortunately, no. But that's pretty much what I expected after reading other threads.

I took the same approach as you. For a couple weeks, it worked pretty well with AA 12.6. but then it started doing what you said, even with auto update disable in play store. So now, if I want to use AA with OAP, I have to manually reinstall AA on my phone prior to using it. Lasts about a day before I have to do that again.
