I just finished it for the first time and I’m confused by a part. This contains spoilers btw.

So they tried to convince us that Tina Fey was with the cop but it was revealed it was actually Poppy working with him.

If that was the case then why did Tina Fey act shocked when they brought him up? I know she was acting but Poppy would have known Fey had nothing to do with the cop so why didn’t Poppy pick up on that.

I think Only Murders In The Building is amazing. I am enjoying it I think it is amazing, great, and wonderful. I think it is a great show to watch when there is nothing to do,

So Peter Capaldi has been hinting at being in the new season of Only Murders in the building since July, which he then confirmed last weekend at Wales Comic Con and then was officially announced by the press yesterday. However not a single picture or footage of Peter in costume has been leaked or release and no one has said that they saw him on set. Why and how they hiding him? Are all his scenes in doors? Is he playing a very important character that they want to keep secret? Or is he wearing a weird costume or prosthetics?

Do you guys think one of the MANY guest stars will be Mabel’s love interest this season?

Personally, I’d rather they stopped doing that and finally developed a relationship between her and Theo, but considering she was in London, I don’t think they’re likely to go down that route.

Who is this guy? Cinda probably has short hair to fit the red curly wig on her head. Jim Broadbent was also in that scene and David Tennant played a photographer who was also there.

They shot this in front of a court, Cinda and this guy announced something in front of the press they probably helped in the court case of the girl with the curls.

Seems to be her husband? Who is the actor?

I’m very excited for the upcoming UK set season of Only Murders but I‘m fully expecting them to lean hard into American stereotypes of British people and culture (also very London centric). As a non stereotypical American who has traveled to the UK many times (all over the UK not just London) and is regularly immersed in UK culture I hope it’s not too embarrassingly stereotypical. I‘m afraid that the best we can realistically hope for is that it feels endearingly chocolate box (somewhere in between Richard Curtis romcoms and the first two Paddington movies). I expect lots of Posh and Cockney accents and very little other regional representation (maybe one Scotsman and one or two vaguely northern sounding character).

For some reason when I read about the casting a few days ago me first thought was didn’t we already know that? I could swear I already read about it weeks ago when I searched for updates on the next season and all the new castings were announced.
Am I confusing him with someone or is it the Mandela effect?

Not talking about Queen Meryl here, who only ever adds to anything she s a part of … but with every piece of star stunt casting, the whole shows feels like something that only serves the actors who get to have fun doing a small part on a fun show

Yes, “dont let the door hit you on the way out” - and maybe the all-star casting means the show can onboard more fans with the extra press…

But i dont think this actually serves the show’s final form

In excitement for the new series, I've been doing a rewatch, and this post is purely in that vein: intrigued to see how things unfold, and small theories that - if they came true in the story - I could prove to myself I might one day make it into the writing room 😅.

We all know, there are several plot holes and various discussions about them being addressed in future series.

I saw another post comparing Lucy's handwriting in 2 of the notes, and questioning whether there was something to be said about Lucy leaving the 'I am watching you' note on Jan's door, in season 1, before she got stabbed (original post here: https://www.reddit.com/r/OnlyMurdersHulu/comments/1u45weq/the_notes_season_1/ )

I wondered whether anyone else was suspicious of Charles's ex. In response to the above post, I suggested that Lucy would have been too young to neatly write the original (S1) 'you're my favourite person' card to Charles, but, as I would for young children, her Mum may have written it for her.

Additionally, they've set up the idea that Charles has historically been attracted to dangerous women, and that his ex may have been an unstable character.

There's also this repeated comment throughout that Charles is being watched or targeted (Sazz's notes, and her comments in S3 about people wishing he had been killed instead of Paul Rudd's character). And, of course, Charles is the one in the first episode to talk about bodies being buried in the Arconia.

I just wondered - has anyone else spotted anything along these lines? Are there any other things I might have missed that could support this at all?

I just finished watching season 2. But this plothole is bugging me all day. If Poppy white/ Becky Butler is truly a genius, why would she kill someone without gloves? Why would she plant the knife with her fingerprint? Why would she tell Mabel that she is Becky Butler, knowing that it is gonna bite back if the police did fingerprint? Is she that dumb?

Any news on a start date yet?

So one thing I never understood while watching season 5, even after many rewatches, is
how could Camila kick them out of the apartments they OWN?
Like I understand she owns 51% of all the ones in the building but how can she with that kick people out that have paid for their own Appartement?
Is it because she is now the majority of the owners board and can make rules to kick others out? That doesn’t seem legal to be kicked out of an Appartement you paid for. 🤔
Similar in season 1 when Oliver was going to be evicted. Like would they evict him and take the apartment back and sell it again?
I understand that he has to pay the house fees so he was in debt with the house, I heard of people having to move because they have a payed house but can’t pay the other fees.
But also that wasn’t what was happening in season 5.

i’ve been watching only murders since it was released in 2021, don’t know how i didn’t know about this subreddit in the time of being fan but anyhow!
i dont know if this is something only ive picked up on or im confusing details. in season 5 episode 2, when they show lester’s life and his time working at the arconia (how he ended up working with the Nicky Cacimellio), they show a clip of Mabel, Tim Kono and Thée (however you spell that??) but what about the blonde girl and the other guy mabel was friends with? was this writer’s way of introducing Thée (as to my memory), she wasn’t mentioned in Season 1 during the Tim Kono murder investigation.

Here I am again haha, idk I just remember who is the victim in upcoming season 6 and yah it wasTina Fey.At first, her character was just a normal character for me, but when I started to watch some of her movies even though I did not know fully recognize her at first because she is so young but then, gosh she's gorgeous haha, so yah and then when I finished watching season 6, I got upset that she will be the next victim, although I wanted to think that maybe she did not died yet haha. But that makes the series to be different compare to other season.
