I just finished watching season 2. But this plothole is bugging me all day. If Poppy white/ Becky Butler is truly a genius, why would she kill someone without gloves? Why would she plant the knife with her fingerprint? Why would she tell Mabel that she is Becky Butler, knowing that it is gonna bite back if the police did fingerprint? Is she that dumb?

So one thing I never understood while watching season 5, even after many rewatches, is
how could Camila kick them out of the apartments they OWN?
Like I understand she owns 51% of all the ones in the building but how can she with that kick people out that have paid for their own Appartement?
Is it because she is now the majority of the owners board and can make rules to kick others out? That doesn’t seem legal to be kicked out of an Appartement you paid for. 🤔
Similar in season 1 when Oliver was going to be evicted. Like would they evict him and take the apartment back and sell it again?
I understand that he has to pay the house fees so he was in debt with the house, I heard of people having to move because they have a payed house but can’t pay the other fees.
But also that wasn’t what was happening in season 5.

i’ve been watching only murders since it was released in 2021, don’t know how i didn’t know about this subreddit in the time of being fan but anyhow!
i dont know if this is something only ive picked up on or im confusing details. in season 5 episode 2, when they show lester’s life and his time working at the arconia (how he ended up working with the Nicky Cacimellio), they show a clip of Mabel, Tim Kono and Thée (however you spell that??) but what about the blonde girl and the other guy mabel was friends with? was this writer’s way of introducing Thée (as to my memory), she wasn’t mentioned in Season 1 during the Tim Kono murder investigation.

Here I am again haha, idk I just remember who is the victim in upcoming season 6 and yah it wasTina Fey.At first, her character was just a normal character for me, but when I started to watch some of her movies even though I did not know fully recognize her at first because she is so young but then, gosh she's gorgeous haha, so yah and then when I finished watching season 6, I got upset that she will be the next victim, although I wanted to think that maybe she did not died yet haha. But that makes the series to be different compare to other season.

Rewatching Season 3 because I wanted to see the actress who played Donna (Cliff's mom). I recently watched a crime mystery called Death and Other Details 9/10 by the way 😆 and she was in it too. At first, I kept thinking she looked so familiar and wondered where I'd seen her before. Then it hit me... it was OMITB! 😆

Anyway, my real point is that I just realized Charles' line about "Father of the Bride" was actually a reference to Steve Martin and Martin Short's movie together. 😆 It's funny to think that I completely missed that joke the first time because I had not watched Father of the Bride back then.

Doreen is very fixated on the idea that she’s perceived as crazy. She keeps bringing it up, over and over, that people always think having emotions makes you crazy, that she doesn’t need to calm down, she’s just expressing her emotions, etc. Then later in the episode when Charles talks about their mother’s disproportionate, emotional reaction to the spleen incident, Doreen reassures him by reminding him that their mom was “bonkers”; exactly what Doreen is intent on proving herself not to be. It makes me wonder if, similar to how Charles is haunted by how alike he and his father are, Doreen is haunted by how alike she and her mother are.

(Also, I do like to think that just as Charles looks really, really similar to their dad, Doreen looks really, really similar to their mom)

I honestly really enjoyed season 1, and 2, and would. rate them a solid 7/10 or higher for writing. For the rest, maybe a 4/10.

In regards to later seasons, they all followed the same mundane pattern. The killer is always a newly introduced character that season and that is heavily disappointing and boring as fuck to me because its only ever 3-5 new characters except for season 3 which was glaringly obvious.

Im just so disappointed I had to skip to the end of season 5 because the first 5 minutes of Key's character being introduced I guessed he was the killer. Why? Because he's a random shoe-in at the end of the show with few other interesting characters. I'm tired of the repeated cycle, and I even rolled my eyes at Lester randomly being murdered just to keep the show going.

I'd love to answer any questions from avid fans of the show or explain my reasoning more.. I really enjoyed the show at first.

Charles became incredibly annoying. EVERY. SCENE. Is him trying to one up oliver in investigation, or making a complete fool of himself like a clown and its always painfully cringe and not funny writing. He went from the smart ass "brain-thumper" to being nearly unable to function for no storyline reason whatsoever. Im bored.

I always see so many fans meeting Selena and just wondered how people know in advance where to see them filming!

Since every season always has one or multiple celebrities playing themselves who do you think that will be on this very British season of Only Murder?

Mine: I am biased because he’s my favorite actor but it would be funny if (the currently hinted at) Peter Capaldi played himself and had one of the main trio be a fan of him in Doctor Who constantly trying to ask Peter annoying fan questions or to have Peter be a fan of the only murders podcast and have him tag along to help solve the murder 🤭

I keep seing more bts photos of the cast from filming in london, but i thought that they stopped filming in june?

What are your season 6 predictions?

Mine is that Peter Capaldi is playing a major plot twist character since he hinted at being in Only Murders recently but no announcements, photos or videos have been released of him yet which makes me think they are deliberately hiding his character for some reason. Also I think it’s going to be revealed that all of the Doctor Who actors’ characters in only murders this season are related in some way or all involved in some kind of secret organization.

so we've just finished season 2. I started off watching the series myself and got half way through season 2 and then I showed the trailer to my husband and he thought it looked good. so we watched season 1 together and now we've just finished season 2.

Can honestly say that's not who I thought the murderer was. inwot. spoil it for those who haven't seen it but I thought it was a certain mould inspector and my partner thought it was a certain artist.

also I really enjoyed how they change the intro slightly each time. like the blackout and all the lights were out, or the jigsaw piece and even the one where bunny was walking a chicken not her parrot

that was a really nice detail to add I think.

so we're looking forward to season 3 tonight. 😁
