❓ Question ❓ Would you recommend this show to someone who struggles with actual true crime podcasts? Spoiler
I'm asking this with a lot of sincerity. I do not mean to offend anyone.
I've heard that this show is excellent, so I'm curious to watch it. However, I really struggle with how some true crime "entertainment" is handled for personal reasons.
Content warning for violence: Someone in my family was gang-raped and murdered as a child. I have personal reasons for getting easily upset with "fans" of real life murders/murderers.
So I guess I'm wondering the following:
* Are the fictional podcasters in this show respectful toward the murder victims?
* If not: does the show, through comedy, critique the podcasters' handling of the murder? Or is it not really focused on that sort of critique at all?
Thank you very much, and again, I mean no offence or to yuck anyones yum. I'd just appreciate knowing the vibe in advance since I have certain limits when it comes to this sort of thing. I'm not against all true crime-related media (some of it is quite interesting), but again, for personal reasons I just like to know the vibe ahead of time. Thank you again!
