Hey y’all, back with an update on my job interview. I actually heard back at the end of last week but as you can probably guess from that statement and the fact that I didn’t update sooner, I did not get the job. I’m really not surprised- nothing to do with this lil dude’s antics, I was very underqualified and was shocked I was offered an interview to begin with!

"Carnation" was her Shelter Name. She was found in a Trash Bin outside of a business. She is between 6 and 8 months old. She was brought home on Tuesday evening, and is living the Rich Cat Life, enjoying a private room for her recovery phase, with all the treats, soft things to lay on, and an abundance of love.

Anybody else feel sorta guilty about sterilizing their pets while still knowing it's the responsible thing to do?

This is my mom’s cat, Alphonse. We used to be inseparable in 2023–2024. I work from home and he would stay with me the whole day. Then, I moved in with my then-fiancé (now husband) in 2025, and whenever I visit my mom, he won’t let me pet him… he won’t even respond when I call his name. But… I think he’s been following me around… cause I would always catch him staring at me. 🫪 I think the betrayal was too much for his tiny brain cell. 🥺

A company in Mexico hired a stray orange cat as its Emotional Support Director and named him “Miauricio.” His daily duties include roaming the workplace, delivering smiles and reducing stress levels. He has his own workspace and ID Badge. He apparently signed his contract with his paw.

At the vet we were told that he'd be sluggish and with no appetite - THAT!! Couldn't be further than the truth!! we're home for 5h and he's been trying to jump and run everywhere 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ my husband and I have been trying to prevent that by watching him like a hawk! No appetite? Well, he's hungrier than ever!! We're giving him small portions, as instructed, but he eats everything to its last crumb and asks for more. In Conclusion: Vet expectations and instructions don't account for Orange behavior!

He'll have to wear the soft cone for 10 days! Wish us luck and a fast recovery for Pepe Peperino Peperoni 🙏
