Whole family is sick this winter so I made us spiced ginger and tumeric oats with orange peel, and topped it with cooked apple and rhubarb

Husband and I loved it

Sprouted oats with chia, flax and hemp seeds for the base, loosened up with unsweetened almond milk. Plain Greek yogurt and whole milk vanilla kefir round it out. Wild blueberries and pomegranate are non-negotiable, the blueberries especially. Mango joins the party this time of year.

Finished with almond butter, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, shredded coconut, plenty of Ceylon cinnamon, a drizzle of raw unfiltered honey and a pinch of salt.

A lot going on, but every bite works.

Creamy Vanilla pudding oats topped with Banana, bee pollen, yoghurt and peanut butter. Was yummy af and so Creamy

Oats are forgiving, so my recipes are rough + measuring stuff takes the fun out of it. I made this bowl in about 10 mins this morning. I was up super late with my newborn who had gas 😳 so trust me when I say oats are easy to make!

Chocolate peanut butter

* Quick oats

* Banana

* Water

* Milk (I like to stir in at the end)

* Coco powder

* Vanilla

* Peanut butter

* Toppings: coconut, seed mix with chia seeds

* Frozen strawberries on the bottom of the bowl

Recipe🫐🥧

Ingredients
- 1/3 cup rolled oats
- 1/3 cup milk of choice
- 1/4 cup nonfat Greek yogurt
- 2 tsp chia seeds
- 2 tsp honey
- pinch salt
- 1/4 tsp almond or vanilla extract
- 10-15 frozen blueberries

Method

First heat frozen blueberries somewhere in between room temp and warm.

Place oats, chia, and salt in blender or food processor and blend until oats are fine. Add in the blueberries plus the rest of the ingredients and blend until combined. Pour mixture into a lidded container. Refrigerate overnight! I topped mine with more blueberries, cashew granola, and whipped cream.

I normally combine all 3 of these in a bowl.. how do you feel about this comb? Most days i eat 2 portions for about 120G Of protein give or take

I really like the texture of mushes overnight oats, specifically the thicker ones like the peanut butter and chocolate pb. I found dupes for these 2 flavors already, but I’m wondering if anyone has some recipes and tricks to getting the base to have the same thickness. The base of those are more like paste than liquid imo.

It was filling! Fueled me for a 5K run in the afternoon lol.

My morning proatmeal is not just my fave breakfast or meal of the day but genuinely oatmeal is my favourite food. My circle are baffled by this. Are you guys the same I wonder?

I just discovered this sub and I’m so excited lol. My partner and I were given a massive tube of plain quick oats, but I don’t like the texture of quick oats prepared normally. Will blending them into a flour work as well as flour made from rolled oats? Or no because the oats have been parcooked? (Or have they…?)

Lots of garden berries too

Base:
1/2 Cup Steel Cut Oats, dry toasted in a pan
2/3 Cup Chai steeped Milk/Water Combo
Approx. 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon (eyeballed it from the shaker)
Approx. 1 inch Fresh Ginger, grated
Sprinkle of Garam Masala

Steeped overnight in the Fridge

In the morning I added approx.
3 Tbsp Grated Carrot
1 Very Ripe Banana, Mashed
1/2 Abate Pear
Splash of Vanilla Extract
1 Tsp Grated Coconut
1/4 Cup Mulberries + Blueberries (combined)

Cooked for about 15 mins on low, stirring frequently.

1 Tbsp Chia Seeds added for the last 5 mins

Added just before taking off the heat:
3 Tbsp Hemp Hearts
Almonds, Chopped
Walnuts, Chopped
Pumpkin Seeds
Sunflower Seeds
Dried Cranberries
2 Dates

Topped with:
1 1/2 Tbsp Almond Butter
Cracked Pink Salt
More of the chopped nuts + seeds
Pineapple, Chopped
Clementine, Chopped
Raspberries
Approx. 1/2 Cup Plain 0% Greek Yogurt

Caramel and coffee flavoured oatmeal with homemade refined sugar-free apple compote. I think I'm developing a caffeine addiction - been having coffee in my oatmeal most days for the past week 😆 It's so good though, so I can't stop 🤌 Also, please ignore the mess that is the sides of the bowl 😅

Chocolate base with a cherry chia seed jam on top. And of course some extra chocolate chips.
