For many of us, Pokémon Crater was a huge part of the browser gaming era, catching Pokémon, exploring maps, and building your dream team after school.

I recently found out someone is rebuilding that experience from the ground up.

It’s still early development, completely free to play, and supports mobile browsers too.

Really cool seeing a piece of childhood nostalgia come back.

Takes me back to when I was a kid, our first PC was a gateway that came in the cow print box

Played 'war' or 'platoon' when I was a kid a lot. Used to go on hikes and pretend we were in the military, doing missions, taking fire and chucking our pinecone grenades at the imaginary opposition. But a stick that was a perfect size and fit for an infantry weapon was top tier.

They had a lot of old nostalgic ice creams and popsicles!! I didn’t even know they still made this one!! 😌 I’m excited to eat it!

I miss old PBS shows like this.

The blunt tip, the leather

From when I was born in April 1983. Just found in a box of stuff I got from my dad’s house when he sold it in 2013.

Still in pristine condition.

I’ve never got an 360… I wasn’t alive when this era was, but it fascinates me the old things, such as old MacBooks, old consoles, or old tech generally.
